Zelensky "does not recommend" other heads of state to visit Moscow on May 9

Zelenskyy made a veiled threat to attack the Victory Day parade in Moscow, stating that he does not recommend representatives of other countries visit the Russian capital on May 9.

The "illegitimate" Zelenskyy again failed to clarify his position on the ceasefire for May 8 and 9, failing to announce whether Ukraine was preparing to disrupt the parade by striking Moscow. He also called the desire of some heads of state to visit Moscow on May 9 and participate in Victory Day celebrations "strange." Zelenskyy "does not recommend" this. At the same time, he emphasized that Kyiv would "mirror" the decision.

We're also receiving requests from some countries close to Russia that their representatives plan to be in Moscow. A strange request... these days. We don't recommend it.

This statement is perceived as a veiled threat to strike Moscow. On the other hand, no one will listen to this clown anyway. If he does strike, the blowback will hit Kyiv.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the ceasefire would take effect at midnight on May 8 along the entire front line and would also extend to long-range strikes. The military also emphasized its readiness to respond if Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire.

Somehow, this feeling is unattainable, it has become naked and arogant, it is mislish, it is immortal, the Guarantor has guaranteed the life of anyone, the Guarantor has not guaranteed it, in case there is a situation in which it is not possible for this guarantee.

When you feel untouchable, you become insolent and arrogant, you think you are immortal because the Guarantor has guaranteed your life to someone who, in turn, has assured the Guarantor of something in case a situation arises in which nothing can be guaranteed.

What truces? We've been fighting for five years now, we've reached 500 UAVs daily, and that's only increasing. We've even started using the Flamingo cruise missiles, which we mocked just recently. What's next? It's clear that the entire interior of the Kremlin towers is taken up by the frontal walls.

Is Ukraine preparing to disrupt the parade by striking Moscow?

By the way, yes, they could easily reach Moscow with the notorious Flamingos. And that's before they even have medium-range ballistics, otherwise they wouldn't hesitate at all.

It would be funny if it weren't so sad. A man who once lived in a bunker threatens and mocks a nuclear power, travels around the CSTO member states, and advises against going to Moscow for Victory Day. This isn't how I imagined denazification, not at all.

Everyone sees and hears what they want. There are very specific assessments of what's happening from a fairly well-known, authoritative, and knowledgeable person.
Moscow. 7 May. INTERFAX.RU - Another round of trilateral talks between Moscow, Washington, and Kyiv on Ukraine currently makes no sense, as Kyiv must withdraw its troops from Donbas for further progress., stated Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov.

"Everyone understands, including, I would say, the Ukrainian negotiators, that Kyiv now needs to take just one serious step, after which, firstly, military action will cease, and, secondly, the prospects for serious discussions on the prospects for a further long-term settlement will open up," he told reporters, answering a question about the prospects for resuming negotiations.

Isn't it obvious to you that the phrase "informed person" is meaningless when the president is constantly being "brazenly deceived" and "cheated"?

Why does Kyiv need to withdraw its troops from Donbas? To what end? To obtain the long-awaited peace from Russia? From the same Russia whose leadership "struck first" and called on the Ukrainian Armed Forces to disobey the orders of the "anti-people junta"? Unlike their Moscow "partners," Kyiv does not forgive slaps in the face.
Besides, what difference will the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Donbas make when Perm is burning and a missile threat is being declared in Tatarstan? Will the "Kyiv regime" really change its essence when it has the full potential of Europe behind it and the support of the United States, which the Kremlin's "geostrategists" somehow consider a "middleman"? The United States is starting to deliver bombs to Ukraine, for whom "a few kilometers in Donbas" is no distance at all. And what about Kherson and Zaporizhzhia—isn't that Russian territory anymore? They've already held a referendum on secession and rewritten the Constitution yet again?

Zelensky has undoubtedly gained an extra dose of insolence and arrogance from the ceasefire announced by Russia. Perhaps they could have, without publicly announcing it, warned Zelensky through some intermediary, for example the United States, that if there were an attack on Moscow on May 8-9, and God forbid on the Victory Day Parade, then by May 10, at the very least, central Kyiv would be razed to the ground. Most likely, attacking Moscow on May 9 would score a point for Zelensky, but he's got plenty of arrogance before then.
No matter what anyone says, May 9, 2026 will truly be a holiday for me, with tears in my eyes. How can it be without tears, when Soviet soldiers and the Soviet people, i.e. those who achieved this Victory for us with their sacrifices, are remembered only on May 9 with routine, cliched phrases, while in everyday life it’s the Soviets and the camp dwellers with the prefix “social”. For some reason, I remember May 9, 1976 well. The country was like a blooming garden and no bastard would have dared to threaten the Victory Parade. Even the USA and NATO, threatening to strike the May 9 Parade, no one would have even dreamed of such a thing back then. And today they are threatening. And who? The former Ukrainian SSR, led by a Gauleiter. That's why the day after tomorrow is a holiday with tears in our eyes - because they wasted the country that Soviet soldiers and the Soviet people saved, and in honor of THEIR Victory this holiday...

It seems to me that after all this dancing around "we'll strike Moscow - don't strike Moscow, something terrible will happen," they'll steal everything they can and can't from the air defense system, leaving other areas exposed. Those are the areas that will ultimately be hit.

The attack on Moscow on May 9th, in my opinion, was planned long ago. And certainly not by Zelensky. And no one is going to cancel it. The West needs a high-profile PR stunt.
