Diplomatic missions in Moscow are trying to determine how serious the calls to leave Kyiv are.

Reports are emerging that several countries, including EU member states, are attempting to ascertain through their diplomatic missions in Russia the "relevance and seriousness" of the warnings issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry, represented by Maria Zakharova, regarding the need for diplomatic mission members and foreign citizens to leave Kyiv in the near future. As Military Review previously reported, as of the morning of May 7, not a single embassy had taken steps to evacuate its personnel from the Ukrainian capital.

Western sources claim that this reaction is explained by “an attempt to assess the level of risk and formulate one’s own set of precautionary measures without commenting on what is happening in the public space.”

At the same time, Europe does not rule out the possibility that the situation could change at any moment.

Let us recall that the Russian Ministry of Defense, acting on the directive of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, declared a ceasefire on May 8 and 9, with the caveat that if the Kyiv regime attacks Moscow, it will also attack the center of Kyiv.

The Ukrainian authorities have already announced that they will not observe the ceasefire during these days. Consequently, the regime in Kyiv is effectively already giving the order to attack the Russian capital on May 8-9, and is simultaneously preparing shelters in case of a Russian strike on the central part of the Ukrainian capital. There is a high probability that the top military and political leadership, having recorded the Tik-Toks from Khreshchatyk in advance, will take their now-familiar safety route—to bunkers or simply further away from Kyiv—to western Ukraine or Europe.

Accordingly, the question arises: will the strike on central Kyiv, announced as a retaliatory measure several days in advance, be effective? It is also questionable whether central Kyiv will be struck if the enemy attacks any other Russian city on May 8-9. These questions remain open.

And anyway, what's the point of widely publicizing something that should have happened five!!! years ago? If we want to destroy the enemy's military and political leadership, why warn about it? And why only for the strikes on Moscow, and specifically on May 9th? Today, the enemy is attacking Russia, and what's the difference? The blood of civilians in Samara, Tula, and Kazan is no less valuable than that of Muscovites.

Why should military command disclose all its actions, especially during a special operation? Let's assume we don't know even 10% of the initial data. And judging serious matters based solely on our own feelings is, at the very least, incompetent.

I'm afraid Zelenskyy made his threat at the request of Europe itself. Now, if something happens and foreign embassies and diplomats are harmed, the EU will go into hysteria. That's what the EU is waiting for.

Many diplomats have informal contacts in their host country—joint banquets, buffets, and the like—that lend themselves to this. The diplomatic corps is like a separate clan; it's entirely possible for a public squabble to occur during the day, followed by a peaceful drink at a joint buffet in the evening.

Now that our Western press secretaries have adopted the fashion of commenting on every sneeze, all this is devalued. It is not for nothing that people say the word silver, silence... But the words of the Supreme should be "word stronger than seal", otherwise... Trump's example with his verbal interventions or eruptions is an example of this...

An Iskander missile strike hit a warehouse in Mala Danilovka, Kharkiv Oblast. The video shows a secondary detonation—ammunition exploding in the burning buildings.
▪️ Ukrainian Nazis deliberately located the warehouse in the middle of a residential area.

A serious attack with consequences on Moscow during the parade would mean Europe is ready to fully engage in this mess, with all the ensuing consequences in terms of military contingents and so on. But I don't think there will be a serious attempt to break through to Moscow. Zelensky is certainly a junkie, but I don't think he and his masters are ready for such an escalation right now. After all, the bet is on destabilizing the situation within our country on an interethnic and interfaith level, plus the economic management is lousy, which is contributing to growing tensions among the population.

Of course, ours must be told that a strike on Kyiv will be carried out in 100% of cases, in response to any possible Ukrainian strikes on non-military Russian targets during Victory Day celebrations.
