Following the Russian Foreign Ministry's warning, none of the embassies began evacuating Kyiv.

Western countries and Ukraine are reacting to the Russian Foreign Ministry's warning yesterday about the need for representatives of foreign states and international missions to leave Kyiv. As a reminder, Maria Zakharova issued the warning after Kyiv announced its rejection of the ceasefire for May 8-9 and threatened to strike Moscow on those dates.

The Ukrainian side called the warning "cynical and provocative." Bankova Street and the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that "Russia itself is violating the ceasefire and using threatening rhetoric to justify such actions." Presumably, threats to strike central Moscow on Victory Day, by Kyiv's logic, cannot be considered provocative.

International media coverage of the Russian Foreign Ministry's statements has been relatively muted. No country has yet made any specific announcements about evacuating their embassies from Kyiv in the coming days.

Reuters and Al Jazeera noted that Maria Zakharova cited aggressive and threatening statements by Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the possible disruption of the celebrations in Moscow. The agencies cited the key part of the note:

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly urges for an early evacuation due to the inevitability of a retaliatory strike against Kyiv.

France 24 and Le Monde described the statement as "a warning to foreign diplomats to leave Kyiv in the event of strikes," emphasizing the context of Russia's unilateral ceasefire initiatives.

Foreign media outlets are reporting that the threat from the Russian Foreign Ministry, and earlier from the Russian Defense Ministry, has sparked "concerns among Ukraine's top authorities." On Bankova Street,

The Verkhovna Rada and other Ukrainian government structures genuinely fear that attacks could be launched against them, although they are currently flaunting their impunity.

Why should they react? Any outcome is good for them.
        1. They show their people how brave they are, and that there will be unity if nothing happens.
        2. If something happens, then there will be sacrificial victims from diplomatic intelligence officers and a reason for escalation.

In short, with these truces and red lines, we're making them stronger. And no matter the outcome.
And the elephant's ass will be the one to be hit, but they won't have the balls to hit them. Then they'll show everyone they have no will.

hi The Kremlin's position on the negotiations and the results of Minsk-1, 2, Istanbul, and Anchorage, along with the sluggish developments at the front, as well as the indecisive actions in the North-Eastern Military District from March 2022 to the present, create all the conditions for the enemy not to respond to threats.
There will be strikes on Kyiv, but not on the center, but on facilities associated with the military-industrial complex, as was the case before the warnings were issued during the joint military operation.

In the 5th year of the SVO, I generally consider this kind of "warning" to Russia's enemies, from the Russian Armed Forces and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to be completely unnecessary and futile...

Especially if they're repeated with practically the same frequency—"every two days"—they only devalue themselves. Warning your enemies REALLY only needs to be done ONCE—the first time, and the last. And after that, the principle of "If you don't hide, it's not my fault..." should automatically take effect.

And now?.. Have you noticed that your enemies, as usual, have ignored your "warning" (as with ALL the previous ones)? Well, then rejoice, and don't play the "parrot"... Rejoice that they have taken ALL THE RISKS upon THEMSELVES and are in their usual "relaxed" state. And by dealing a REAL blow to the targeted targets of the Bandera-Nazis, with the possible (highly likely) presence of foreign "diplomats," you will truly punish them. And force them to take ALL your subsequent warnings very seriously, as inevitable reality, and not "gestures" that don't result in blows, but are followed by more "statements" and "indignation" from Madam Zakharova...

And the papal legate replies, "If we're strong, everyone will recognize us. We need to make sure we're not strong!" Europe has achieved its goal today. am And it was probably a mistake to cancel the display of military hardware at the parade. They should have kept the cadets out, they're just kids, but the military hardware should have been allowed in. Dear Elena!
It's probably right that there won't be any equipment! It's quite possible they're always driving around there, carrying mock-ups! How many years have all these Armatas and Coalitions been chewing up the cobblestones... Where are they? They're not there - we know for sure! We simply don't know about the other prototypes - maybe something will become clear later... And the guarantor could have staged an online speech - I think the internet would have been working like clockwork during that time! It's safer for him, and cheaper, without a parade! But still, whatever way you look at it, it turns out the guarantor is scared! It's good that the guys from the military academies won't be there! But the fact that he hid the equipment (even if they're mock-ups!) - that's definitely scared! And we won't see any strikes on Kyiv! Unless they hit Moscow. Other cities are possible - after all, it's Russia! And Moscow isn't Russia - it only extorts tribute from Russia and rewards Russophobic Central Asian countries, and not only these...

On the one hand, the cancellation and shortening of the Victory Parade program was done to avoid provoking the enemy to launch massive strikes against large concentrations of people and equipment. On the other hand, there's a fear of losing everything and everyone at the parade. Judging by the fact that "isolated" explosive UFOs are carrying out their mission even in Moscow, fear is primary. This fear stems from the inability to prevent both a massive strike and the interception of all UFOs. In such a situation, in my opinion, canceling all parades would be a drastic decision. But, in honor of the Victory won by our grandfathers and fathers, the losses of enemy personnel, equipment, and command personnel on this day should be multiplied. And given that the enemy today is not only the Ukrainian fascists, but also their breadwinners and instigators.

How many of those suitable ones have there already been?

You know, these strategies of razing cities to the ground don't bother me in the slightest - carpet bombing, napalm, etc. - are the lot of idiots, lazybones, complete idiots who don't understand what war is.
As I see it, war is the seizure of territory... needed... necessary - therefore, a deep operation best suits this concept; it can be linked to a drone (technological) combination, pressure along the entire front with small groups. But the foundation of war is a deep operation, and therefore ammunition and munitions are key... Why bomb the enemy's infrastructure and cities for years if in a month or two you can break through the enemy's defenses on a broad front and advance 100 km? For a breakthrough (in this case, I) would need drones, Kabas, and missiles. Of course, on a huge scale, reconnaissance equipment, drones, some new telebeacons, and a preliminary general strike on communications around the offensive zone would be required. This is the correct expenditure of combat resources! And the main goal in war is the destruction of manpower, not iron, buildings, asphalt, and other rubbish! I'm not against destroying rubbish, but manpower along with it is better.

I'm not saying that bombing a city is a completely inappropriate activity in a fight against the enemy. I remember the first book I read as a child, Genghis Khan, there is a chapter there - to take Gurgandzh, you first need to destroy it - exactly the case.. To take Kharkov, you need to destroy it, obviously without sending infantry to storm it, infantry is the last thing in a drone war.. I point out that the Magyars, Zelenkin and others will fight until the last ukraine, and I especially point out that after Genghis Khan's horde ran through almost 1/5th of the land, peace and quiet reigned for several centuries - that is the truth of war, and not some kind of fight until the last ukraine.

I bet that even if they do strike (which I doubt), this “strike” will not affect either the decision-making centers or the embassies.

It's just that no one in the West has taken Putin and his "talking heads" seriously for a long time now. After so many "red lines."

They don't trust our Foreign Ministry. They don't trust anyone, either. No one in our leadership. Because they don't sense a unified will, and the Supreme Commander's decisions are stalled and diluted by those "below." Well, tolerating the utterly impotent General Staff leadership for five years is just that...

God grant our calf the chance to eat the wolf. I don't know if there will be a response or not, but I'm gnawed by a nagging doubt. We need to talk less to our rulers and do more.

For five years now, this incomprehensible war with the strange name "SVO" has been going on. Civilians are dying every day, and no one in the country can openly ask their grandfather: how long will we continue this circus? When will we really start fighting...

Following the Russian Foreign Ministry's warning, none of the embassies began evacuating Kyiv.

Well, we've had enough of playing "wolves or wolves"; no one believes this empty chatter anymore. sad

"Russia needs a small victorious war" (c)
Victory failed, so now they'll have to boost their ratings by tightening the screws. Options are limited, taxes are already high, the economy is on its last legs, the only option left is to block the entire internet, the population is angry and disappointed, and the inner circle is a thief after another...
Wow, how did they screw up so badly up there...

Embassies shouldn't worry. The thieving government can only order the bombing of a few transformer boxes. I'm so sick of this bourgeois government's incompetence.

Soit, Zelensky n'osera pas perturber la journée de la victoire, soit les représailles russes n'impressionnent plus personne. L'élite dirigeante ukrainienne se fout des ripostes russes tant qu'ils ne sont pas visés personnellement ou physiquement.

No one takes Russia at its word. They know that at the last minute, they'll unleash Marya the Artisan on the scene and angrily tell them all about the felt-tip pens. I also don't believe the General Staff will give the necessary order—they'll find a million excuses...

Perhaps this is exactly what Putin will talk about on May 9? But more likely, he'll just be beating around the bush again.

How long did the fighting in Afghanistan last? So, we have another six years, and then there could be nuclear mushroom clouds. How do you like that prospect? That's exactly it. All those red pencils and all that jazz, you don't want to live?
