Klitschko laments the impossibility of providing Kyiv with heating next winter.

Kyiv Mayor Klitschko stated that the heating situation in the Ukrainian capital next winter remains "threatening," blaming the central government of the "independent" country for this. According to the Kyiv mayor, he is doing everything possible to minimize the risk of a complete heating blackout in the capital of the former Ukrainian SSR, but the central government has publicly refused to cooperate.

Klitschko laments that, despite promises from relevant agencies to allocate additional state funding and contractors for restoration work at CHPP-5, the state ultimately reneged on its previous promises and effectively washed its hands of the matter. The Ukrainian government has effectively declared that Kyiv's heating supply is solely the responsibility of the city authorities. Therefore, the Kyiv mayor is unsure whether his city will be operational and habitable next winter.

Earlier, Kyiv city administration officials reported that one of the two combined heat and power plants supplying the city with heating had been completely destroyed as a result of Russian military strikes, while the other was 80% destroyed. Since repairing the equipment is currently extremely difficult, the only hope for Kyiv's remaining residents is a warm winter in 2026-2027.

At the same time, as is well known, Ukraine's Western "allies" are extremely reluctant to provide Kyiv with funds for the restoration of its energy infrastructure. The West is clearly not interested in improving the lives of the population in Kyiv-controlled territories—it's no secret that its "allies" are interested in Ukraine solely as a staging ground for war against Russia.

If Kyiv even remains there by next winter. They say everything is ready by May 9th; everyone's just waiting for the order.

Well, yes, the warning concerned the central part, and the city is huge.

In general, they could have already "turned off the housing and communal services" this winter... If you're going to beat someone, then beat them and end the fight.

"All of Vitali Klitschko's problems, as his advisor stated, stem from Lennox Lewis's right uppercut.
Klitschko ordered the uppercut to be fired. We'll see.

Maybe it will stay, maybe not, but in any case, the invigorating winter coolness due to the cold radiators will help the Banderists understand the meaning of jumping around on the Maidan.

Klitschko is not the only one reporting problems.
    Moscow, May 4, Vesti.
Several facilities of the Ukrainian company Naftogaz were damaged within 24 hours in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The company's press service reported this on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that we are talking about five Naftogaz facilities.

Five of our facilities in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions were attacked within 24 hours. Due to damage to equipment, we were forced to halt production processes," the statement reads.

On May 2, the company also reported damage to its facilities. At that time, Naftogaz's critical infrastructure was damaged in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as in the Kyiv-controlled part of the Zaporizhia region.

What heating? Those are communist innovations. We used to live with stoves and it was fine. And what's the point? It's all the same here anyway. be empty, as they used to say.
And so, if anything happens, we went galloping and burned tires. negative

Europe will also freeze, as it has every year since sanctions against Russia began to be imposed. And things are still the same.

A country that was consciously heading towards a conflict with the Russian Federation (with any outcome), and joyfully at that... hardly thought about central heating, electricity, and industry.

According to the Kyiv mayor, he is doing everything possible to minimize the risk of a complete lack of heating in the capital of the former Ukrainian SSR, but the central government has publicly refused to assist him.

What a mess. It's clear from the text that the central government is reluctant to allocate funds for Kyiv's repairs, believing that Ukraine's richest city already has sufficient funds for such purposes. Kyiv, meanwhile, is unwilling to finance the repairs itself (even though it could), demanding funding from the central budget.
And the title is loud, that's true...

Don't believe any statements and continue to attack the Ukrainian energy system and seaports through which grain is exported.
