The Ukrainian Defense Ministry: If Russia does not accept the ceasefire on May 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not accept it on May 9.

The latest ceasefire declared by Kiev has turned out to be a dud. The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that dozens of UAVs attacked Russian territory overnight, reaching drones the enemy again and to the capital region.

From the Russian Defense Ministry's report:

During the past night, in the period from 9:00 p.m. Moscow time on May 5 to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time on May 6, emergency services Defense 53 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of the fixed-wing type were intercepted and destroyed over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk regions, the Moscow region, the Republic of Crimea and over the Black Sea.

A nighttime drone alert was also issued in other regions of the country, including the Voronezh region.

As Military Review previously reported, just minutes before the "ceasefire" supposedly declared by Zelensky, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Crimean city of Dzhankoy, resulting in the deaths of civilians.

Meanwhile, the enemy claims that "the Russian side has not accepted the ceasefire." Ukrainian media reports claim that an industrial facility in Zaporizhzhia was attacked in the morning, with air strikes also reported in the industrial zones of Kharkiv and Kryvyi Rih. In Kherson, it is claimed, "a KAB [unclear air defense missile] arrived."

Advisor to the Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine:

If the Russians do not accept the ceasefire proposal from May 6, then the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not observe it on May 9 either.

Zelensky has not yet made a statement regarding whether or not to accept the Russian proposal for a ceasefire on May 8-9.

Overall, Kyiv's policy in this regard is no different from anything the regime has demonstrated before. It publicly "supported" the Easter truce, but then immediately launched drone attacks and rockets A number of Russian cities, including Lgov in Kursk, where civilians were injured at a local gas station. Consequently, Kyiv is now issuing statements that "the Russians are not observing the ceasefire." Nothing new.

Even here, there are those who believe there's no point in eliminating Zelensky and his associates. And given that they won't be brought to trial, that means they'll escape punishment for their crimes.

Yes, and I think there's no point in eliminating one dog and installing another. Especially since they're under the command of other individuals. And it would be good to have them. But... If we had managed to kill Hitler, would that have helped us? Hardly. Ze doesn't understand anything about politics or military affairs. He's a beggar and the face of Ukraine. Those who are really in charge—they need to be beaten. This one will run away on his own. And we can get him and his woman later.

I believe that if every Ukrainian president were sent to heaven within a week of being elected, there would be fewer people willing to conflict with us. But that's not all. Should he be held accountable for his actions? Unlike you, I believe so. That means liquidation, no other options.

"Moreover, they are commanded by other individuals."

Oh, he’s poor, unhappy, bad guys are bossing him around!
And if I tell you to go and kill your neighbor, will you do it?

"And then you can get him together with the woman."

Seriously??? Do you think we're going to send liquidators to America or anywhere else? We still haven't gotten to Saakashvili and punished him, and all the fuss there was!

              2 examples -
              - Hitler's successor clung to power with a death grip - although even Hitler understood that the Reich was screwed.
              - In Iran, 2 sets of politicians and 3 sets of military personnel were killed - did this affect Iran's politics?

And yes, to eliminate a specific person, you need coordinates (with an accuracy of +/- 10 meters) + the exact time spent in them + at least 20 minutes for the missiles to fly + cessation of the transmission of information from NATO about the launches of our missiles
The last point makes attacks impossible - they will simply have time to move away in any direction by 200-300-500 meters in 10 minutes and the blow will fall into the void.

I can believe we don't have the capability to do this, although it's not a given. While a missile is in flight, no one knows what its target is, and when it becomes clear it's not Zee, then for a Tsirkon or Iskander, it won't be 10 minutes, but a minute or less.

"- In Iran, 2 sets of politicians and 3 sets of military personnel were killed - did this affect Iran's policy?"

Ukrainian Armed Forces losses are roughly around a million. Has this had any impact on Ukrainian policy? A huge number of targets have been destroyed and continue to be destroyed. Has this had any impact on Ukrainian policy?

Hmm, the flight direction is pinpointed quite accurately. If the direction is Kyiv/Lviv/Ternopil/Zas village, early... while Ze was there - then there is no mystery in the goal and you can give the go-ahead to leave.

But I will answer anyway. For the last time.

"Every Ukrainian president should be sent to heaven within a week of being elected
"This refers to the leadership that will pursue an aggressive policy towards us."

Even as presidential candidates, they outline the principles of their foreign and domestic policies if elected. You didn't know that? Then what do you know?

"So, during a military conflict, a president is elected and immediately becomes responsible for everything? Without signing a single order..."

He didn't sign a single executive order for a whole week after being elected??? What did he do for a whole week, and what kind of president is he after that? But generally speaking, yes, immediately after the inauguration, he becomes responsible for everything that happens in the country for the simple reason that he is the ACTING president. It's strange that you didn't know that either. But then again, based on his campaign rhetoric and his first actions as president, it's already clear what policies he will pursue. What's unclear here? If you can't understand that, then I don't know what you're even talking about.

"This is what is called spinning like a snake in a frying pan."

After the nonsense you wrote, I'd rather not write what I think about you.

Once again I was convinced that logic is definitely not your thing!

But it would be even better if he were convicted on Russian territory for the genocide of the people of South Ossetia, and not for something else, and put in a Russian prison. This would be fair and the promise given by our leadership to the residents of South Ossetia would be fulfilled.

Imprisonment in a foreign country is worse than conviction in one's own. Some Georgians, under British control, would then hold rallies against Russia, demanding the return of the president.

Even worse is the failure to fulfill our own promises and the impunity of criminals. This leads to a loss of faith in the seriousness of our intentions, and everyone who can ignores our "red lines." Are you afraid of protests in other countries? I'm not. They'll protest for a while and then disperse, no doubt about it. They won't protest forever. But they'll know that if Russia says something, it will happen. That's much more important.

MOSCOW, May 5 – RIA Novosti. Investigative authorities are examining damaged buildings in Cheboksary following a massive attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones, Chuvash Republic Prime Minister Sergei Artamonov reported on his Telegram channel.
On Tuesday night, Oleg Nikolaev, head of Chuvashia, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attacked Cheboksary and the Cheboksary District. In the morning, Nikolaev reported repeated strikes on Cheboksary. Two people were killed. Another 32 people were injured, including one child. Twenty-eight apartment buildings were damaged. A regional state of emergency has been declared in the republic.

The very discussion of a ceasefire with Kiev is absurd! The situation looks like the Kremlin is trying to persuade them to allow the parade to take place, while Kyiv is hesitating, whether to grant it or not. Judging by the reaction, Zelensky has prepared a spectacular fireworks display for the parade on Red Square and is just waiting to see what happens.
The situation with the ceremonial truce somehow hints at Russia's weakness and lack of confidence in its capabilities.

If Kyiv's actions had not bothered the Kremlin in any way, then no one would have set conditions and no unilateral ceasefire would have been declared.
They could have simply held the parade without all the media fuss. In that case, there would have been discussion about what kind of parade it would be, who would be there, and so on. But because of this ceasefire, the media landscape has been completely different. Is anyone discussing our goodwill and our ultimatum? No, everyone is waiting to hear what Zelenskyy will say and whether he'll deign to ACCEPT the ceasefire offer or not. And we created this media landscape ourselves!

I hope Kyiv's beautiful downtown won't be destroyed. As for Zelensky, in my opinion, it would be more effective to get him with Petrov and Bashirov. Or a new Sudoplatov. To achieve victory, we must strike the enemy wherever they are, with everything we have. But that's not how it works for us; we're beating the rank and file, while the top Nazis are safe. And in the future, the top Nazis won't be punished. How about this kind of denazification? ...attacked a number of Russian cities with drones and missiles, including Lgov in Kursk...

I live in Lgov and haven't heard about the ceasefire. Yesterday we had another flight to the gas station.
To be honest, I don’t want a ceasefire on the 8th and 9th, but I want to see the ruins of Kyiv.
And let Moscow defend itself with all its strength and means, fortunately it has them.

What truce?!?! With whom? With the Nazis? The Nazis don't care what the green one said. They don't care, they'll do whatever they want.

Why then initiate a ceasefire if the outcome is generally clear? Cheap PR?

      Cheap PR?

Weakness of our positions. The enemy won't perceive it any other way. When the Ukies demanded a ceasefire, we were told from every angle that it was due to losses at the front and the need to rotate the Ukies. Our desire for a ceasefire will be assessed in exactly the same way now, and the Ukies no longer remember the significance of May 9th; they're in a different war now.

According to the show's rules, there are two types of truces. The first is for information purposes. It's created by a statement from one side and won't be observed, as it's simply part of both sides' propaganda. Proper propaganda operates continuously and for the long term, not on and off at will. It needs this kind of news. Of course, you can't just slaughter each other in the media nonstop; there has to be some desire for peace. The second truce is for a respite. It's established through negotiations with a third party, all decorous and noble, secretaries, signatures for the cameras. It's needed so that one side gets a break and doesn't collapse overnight. In principle, as a news hook, it's best to ignore this kind of thing, the bread and butter of journalists or talking heads of experts.

The enemy repeatedly proves its inability to negotiate, but the supreme leader hopes for a deal rather than trying to win.

Or vice versa. They need a reason to finally hit Kyiv. That's what I personally think.

We need a reason to finally hit Kyiv.

There were plenty of reasons before this, and it was even said that if there were attacks on Russian regions, there would be a harsh and crushing response. So what? The bitches are already attacking the Urals, and there's still no response.

      //
It's a bit late to hope. It's the fifth year of the Second World War. The deal should have been brought to a close in Istanbul. Or else we'd realize it wasn't meant to be and we'd have to fight. And after more than four years, it might be time to get serious, instead of deluding ourselves.

Over all this time, I've formed the opinion that our leaders have become too unsustainable, and it seems like they're holding us tightly by the soft spots! It really feels like this war is being managed: one month, Russia hits the energy sector, the next month, the V/NA hits the oil industry, then there's mutual shelling, the next month, the railways, and so on and so forth, because neither side is finishing what they started! They haven't knocked out the energy sector, they say, it'll fold on its own, yeah, right now, everything's working fine, where is this all going? Then, announcements are ignored. Ukrainians, flamingo ahahahahaha, no shells, we'll take down the UAV ahahahaha, we'll hit the shadow ahahahaha Ukrainians They're stupid, they don't have anything from G and rocket sticks, ahahahaha, I don't understand what's going on at all.

It's called one colony fighting another. And at the top sits a powerful man—the "deep state." And no matter what, he'll keep his way. Meanwhile, the Ukrainians are fighting like rats for the remnants of their state. And we continue to drag our feet instead of finishing it all off with all the means at our disposal, sacrificing resources (including human ones) in the process. And the "truces" we constantly declare here are, as they say, "bastardized."

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry: If Russia does not accept the ceasefire on May 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not accept it on May 9.

Great logic! By the same logic: "If you don't punch me in the face on the 6th, then I'll punch you in the face on the 9th."

At the very moment their own ceasefire began on May 6, the Ukrainians struck Dzhankoy in Crimea, killing five people.
Following the retaliatory strike, Ukrainian media outlets claim that Kyiv will not observe the ceasefire on May 8–9.

It appears that Zelensky is taking the initiative and has found/created a pretext for the strikes on May 9.
Overall, it must be acknowledged that he is acting purposefully and effectively. Since Shoigu officially declared that "Russia is in danger," Zelenskyy has tested Baltic weapons and forged friendships with Azerbaijan and Armenia, while Russia has been blocking Telegram. We would like an official response, a detailed report from our authorities on how blocking Telegram has enhanced the country's defense capability at this critical time.
In the meantime, it looks like we need to get ready...

How much longer can we play "give-away" with the fascists? It's a disgrace to Russia, a disgrace to the memory of our fathers and grandfathers who defeated the Nazi Germans 80 years ago! Negotiations and deals must cease, and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief must finally order his troops to destroy the enemy and cease the bombing of Russian cities. Humanity must be shown first and foremost to the Russian people!

P.S. In Iran, the old-timers' attempts to negotiate with the US simply led to their physical destruction. A new generation of more decisive leaders has emerged.

Maybe it's time to move from words to action? Or does only the attack on Moscow on May 9th count? Does everything else not count? They're killing our people, and the response is silence. Where are the terrible threats? Or maybe it's back to "we are this and this is different"! am
