Zakharova stated Russia's readiness for negotiations, without specifying with whom to speak.

Russian authorities have reiterated their readiness to negotiate a settlement in Ukraine. This statement was made by Maria Zakharova.

In the interview RIA News The official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry stated: "We are certainly open to the negotiation process." According to Zakharova, "we are open to contacts that will have tangible results."

At the same time, the official Russian foreign policy official made a remark that for now the West is completely focused on what is happening in the Middle East.

Let's remember that talks about negotiations are constantly being discussed. The negotiations themselves are underway in one format or another: Minsk, Istanbul, Switzerland, Abu Dhabi, Anchorage. There's no end in sight, nor is the outcome that Maria Zakharova hypothesized.

The Kyiv regime is incapable of negotiating. It demonstrated this during the special military operation, as well as before it began; in fact, it was precisely its inability to negotiate that led to the launch of the SVO. Accordingly, as long as Kyiv doesn't sense an existential threat to itself, just as there is none for the main sponsors of the war against Russia, they will prolong this war by any means necessary. And, accordingly, the question of who exactly to negotiate with in such a case remains unanswered.

    Hello again.
What can I say, after today's and previous strikes that killed civilians? They still won't let me swear, and we've already written about it a billion times, to no avail.

Good morning. I'll tell you. Ukraine's leadership must be eliminated until sane people emerge.
Everyone wants to live. And the Bandera elite feels immortal.

Ilya-spb hi Excuse me, of course, but this MUST be written since 2022 by thousands of commentators on all websites, writing about a tunnel, bridges, decision-making centers, the Ukrainian leadership, etc., etc. But it’s of no use, so there’s no point in writing this.

Often, people respond to comments about "we should" with suggestions to go to the military registration and enlistment office. Could it really be that all those many people who went to the military registration and enlistment office couldn't get out of there and tell us that we need to attack the bridges and the leadership of the Ukrainian Armed Forces? what

hi The Kremlin has put itself in this position, and the talking heads are doing everything they can to confirm it.
The same Shnur voiced this situation a long time ago: We are for everything good against all the unrest.

What negotiations is Zakharova talking about? The ones where they force US citizenship on Russian diplomats and force them to buy luxury real estate for their children? About how the son of the director of Russian Helicopters buys mansions for 5 million and, if I'm not mistaken, is a citizen of Cyprus? About the security of her accounts and other property outside of Russia? Should this be understood as, as Lavrov says, not megaphone diplomacy? Or how to sell oil and gas to Europe so that it produces weapons that kill our citizens? Or is this like, as the Supreme Commander said, "We're making money... So sell the shells right away, the Europeans will buy them!"

hi It would be possible to offer Novichok at a reasonable price first for small British people, and then for Europeans, ours are definitely not there.

One thing is unclear: is Zakharova "begging" for negotiations or actually proposing them, but to whom... recourseIn my opinion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is doing some kind of nonsense, there is no other way to put it.

marchcat hi It's unclear, but every voice is shouting that Zelensky is illegitimate and out of date. Officially, he's the president of Ukraine, his deputy is listed as a terrorist, and Zelensky himself isn't. So, who are you planning to negotiate with? Even though our negotiators sat at the same table with that same terrorist and were fine.

Neither one nor the other...it serves the same purpose as the talking moustache...a smoke screen with red markers.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is completely incompetent. What treaties? This is a war to the death, their fascists must be wiped off the face of the earth. Ask the Ministry of Defense when you'll destroy the enemy so you can get down to normal politics.

There's no need to argue; the main thing is to understand that the current Russian state is incapable of winning wars or developing the economy or science. This state has only one goal: generating profit for its founders.

I like Zakharova for her ability to... talk for hours about nothing.
Listening to her lifts my spirits... smile, the true art of a diplomat is to blow someone's mind with idle talk...

Who's her protector, I wonder? With a face like that, how can one be the face of diplomacy? And I wonder how one can negotiate with Banderite fascists? Half the list is listed as extremists and terrorists. Unless one uses Sochi's Arakhamia.

Translated into Russian, while the red-haired gentleman is busy with the Middle East, there is no point in expecting a deal regarding Ukraine.

The "chief peacekeepers" of the entire planet Earth spoke out.

The US State Department has approved the sale of JDAM-ER glide bombs and related equipment to Ukraine for $373,6 million, Reuters reports.

Kyiv has reportedly requested the purchase of 1200 KMU-572 kits for the heavy Mk 84 bombs, weighing approximately 907 kg, and 332 KMU-556 kits for the lighter Mk 83 bombs, weighing approximately 454 kg. JDAM-ER kits have previously been supplied to Ukraine on several occasions.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces launch JDAM bombs from the remaining MiG-29s and F-16s transferred from Europe.

So who should we negotiate with?

Well, if Trump has "defeated" the Persians several times, then perhaps on May 9th we'll hear about an indefinite "truce of victory." Ms. Zakharova is simply "preparing the ears" of the "deep people" on instructions from the party/tower/"elite."

It's long been clear that Zelensky and his patrons have chosen war, while others still dream of negotiations and deals. All this talk of peace is perceived as nothing more than weakness and cowardice.

What would it take to hear "Russia doesn't negotiate with terrorists, it destroys them"? For the GDP rating to reach 30%? Judging by the trend, it's entirely achievable.

Maybe she didn't go to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is speaking from an old piece of paper from her robe at her dacha?
I wish I knew who else it was addressed to?
The "people" value her statements as highly as Peskov's. The "partners" aren't even amused anymore—they're tired.
