Syrsky lacks medics on the front lines

Another problem facing the Ukrainian army, voiced by Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, is that the Ukrainian Armed Forces units are short of medics.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces complained about the shortage of medics on the front lines. According to him, this problem is the reason for the Ukrainian army's heavy losses on the front lines. The inability to evacuate "three-hundredths" in the immediate moments after being wounded turns them into "two-hundredths."

One of the key issues remains the insufficient staffing of medical units with junior medical personnel, primarily combat medics. They bear the brunt of providing tactical pre-medical care to the wounded directly on the front lines and during difficult evacuation situations.

Meanwhile, according to Ukrainian media outlets, the problem isn't just the lack of medics, but also a shortage of personnel; some brigades have personnel numbers that don't exceed 30-40%. Moreover, according to Ukrainian public accounts, many wounded were simply abandoned instead of evacuated, and subsequently died.

It has been said repeatedly that the Ukrainians are short of personnel. They are holding the front at the expense of dronesIn recent months, attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have virtually ceased. Not in all directions, of course, but in most.

...In particular, in Odessa, women gathered at the Shopping Center building and tried to stop a bus carrying mobile phones. They blocked the exit, clung to the vehicles, and physically tried to prevent their husbands and sons from being taken away. The bus left anyway. Shopping Center employees and police pushed the women back, and some were held back by force. "The authorities fear the spread of such tendencies..."

In this regard, we have already expressed opinions more than once or twice that there is no protest potential in Ukraine capable of a coup d'état.
There are protests only against the actions of the TCC, but not against the war itself, where tens and hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens are dying.
Even talk of lowering the draft age hasn't had any impact on the population's attitude toward Kyiv's thieves—everyone thinks only of themselves and doesn't want to get involved in even a guerrilla war with the local regime.
There are so many videos online from the Ukrainian trenches, where doomed conscripts threaten to come to Kyiv and take revenge on a drug-addicted comedian for everything they've experienced and are experiencing on the front lines. Four years later, nothing has happened—the drug addict is still stuck in Kyiv, and the troublemakers from the front are, at best, rotting in the ground or, at worst, languishing in hospitals.
So, if they start to round up women, it will be the same as now - children will be sold abroad or to grannies, and their mothers will be sent to the front lines under the supervision of barrier detachments. angry

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) recalls that in January 2026, Russia launched a record number of glide bombs—over 5700—at that time. This intensity then continued into the spring.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported panicked reports of more than 300 FABs with UMPK missiles per day aimed at destroying the “fortress belt” – defensive structures in Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, and Konstantinovka – that is, a twofold increase was recorded.

There used to be an article about a shortage of medical supplies, and that 300s are being transported in flatbed trucks, where they turn into 200s...

In some areas of the LBS between us and the 404th there are no personnel at all. They "communicate" only using FPV drones.

And there are many such areas. The density of UAVs in the sky is such that everything that moves is destroyed.

A platoon holds the front line of a battalion, or even a regiment. Of course, 100 drones against 30 men—try getting in. Assaults are carried out in half-squads, in twos and threes, concentrating on "points."

Modern "warfare"? Or the inability of a state to wage war? It's a debate, though. If you have two divisions against 300 UAVs, what will they do? They'll burn 10 units, kill 50 soldiers, and wound 150... And most likely, there will be ZERO losses! No one would even dare fight against an attack by two divisions with strongpoints or UAVs. They'll mount their vehicles and charge full throttle into the rear. We've simply never tried fighting like that before.

I'll even speculate and repeat myself as to why. In fact: Politics = #1, Money = #2, War = #3. And war in war should be number 1 and nothing else! It's a good thing the enemy made the same mistake.

So the border is over 1 km long, and there are no FSB PV (military formations), there are FSB FPS (police formations)... there are also no mention of rear guard divisions, mobile command posts, air assault/military groups... not even rumors. They should, but why?

        Here is some interesting information:
Savita Wagner, a German citizen, voluntarily went to Ukraine,
She became a frontline medic. She was right on the front lines.
        Died in January 2024.
What can we say about "ideological" Ukrainian women...
Today, 75,000 women serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, almost all voluntarily.
        ~55,000 — military personnel
up to ~10,000 - directly at the front.

The photo in the article shows American nurse Rebecca Maciorowski. She came to Ukraine as a volunteer in 2022, a committed woman. Our media have already buried her twice, in 2022 and 2023. VO also published this canard. But she is alive and continues to work for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The last video on her YouTube channel was posted a month ago.

Viktor, I don't understand. Zelensky is sending his people to Libya, then to Mali, then to other countries. recourse So, he's taking it from his own Ukrainians without a care, or something. And at the same time, the number of drone attacks on Russia is increasing. And supposedly there are no people... But who is there? And they just won't die.

    There are never enough doctors.
Both near the front lines and in the rear, both with them and with us. Both 200 years ago and today.
Simply because shooting a leg requires a shooter, a gun, a cartridge, and 2-5 seconds. But bandaging a leg takes 3-5 minutes. Anyone can pull a trigger, but applying a bandage, and God forbid, even a tourniquet, is something very few can do. I can't do it.

To increase their chances of survival, those who rescue, bandage, and drag to the rear must distinguish themselves. With clothing, a red cross.
This won't always protect. The Nazis fired at nurses and at vehicles carrying the wounded. But even the Nazis didn't all fire, realizing that someday some German woman might drag them to the hospital, wailing and cursing in their language.

In general, a wounded enemy is better than a dead one.
More expenses. These are gone and they've moved on. But these are still here. They either need to be dragged to the infirmary, or...
But not everyone can raise their hand to the second "or." He, too, walks under God and drones.

    Yes you are right.
Do you have a driver's license? Do you remember how you behaved behind the wheel after you got the chance to drive, but it was terrifying? And how did you learn to drive later, like everyone else?
    I remember.
For a nurse, it would look like this... There are 15 dummies there. You need to train. Next Saturday, 10 more dummies. And the week after that, 5 more. And the following week, 5, but with 100-150 meters between them. Don't run, crawl.
Very good. Now it's simple. Bandage one, he'll get there on his own. Bandage the second one and drag him about 300 meters, then the others will crawl after him. And tie this one up in tourniquets and drag him as fast as you can. Faster.
Okay, how are you? Don't look down, look at those who are alive.

Preparing for the intensive mobilization of female medical professionals.

This won't help. For both sides, the days of paramedics, evacuation teams, and red, yellow, and green zones are gone; now every military unit can only rely on itself. Accordingly, as part of its training, every military unit in the training center must be taught how to combat the main threats to an infantryman/assault soldier: medical self-help and mutual aid on the battlefield, engineering training, and FPV drone evasion.
Currently, training lasts 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on the military specialty. Military service personnel can't really learn anything in that amount of time. Therefore, even before being sent to the SVO/CTO, a potential soldier must complete at least the basics of the training. These courses include tactical medicine, primarily (it'll be useful in civilian life, too), topography, and endurance training at the gym. The gym is expensive, so you need to walk and run a lot...

Mobilizing female medics won't save the situation if the personnel aren't trained. Furthermore, field medicine and civilian medicine are two very different things; ambulance paramedics will be better prepared.
