The European Copernicus has filmed dozens of Iranian boats hunting ships in Hormuz.

New satellite images have emerged confirming the activity of the Iranian "mosquito" fleet" in the Strait of Hormuz. Images obtained by the European Copernicus system show a group of dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) speedboats operating in the northern part of the strait near the coast of Qargan.

Analysts say the maneuvers, which involve at least 33 small vessels, are part of Tehran's asymmetric strategy to block one of the key sea lanes.

Overall, Iran has a fleet of small vessels, numbering thousands of high-speed boats capable of speeds of up to 120 km/h (or even higher, according to other sources). And it has become a real headache for the American Navy. Despite US claims to have destroyed most of the Iranian fleet, these small vessels, equipped with machine guns, guided and unguided missiles, rockets и dronesKamikazes remain an extremely effective tool. They are difficult to detect on radar, and their tactics of surprise attacks and instant disappearance among coastal rocks and islands make them virtually invulnerable.

They are on a real hunt for commercial vessels.

Iran's opponents claim that such activity directly threatens global oil supplies, as approximately 20% of global exports pass through the strait. Iran, however, counters that it did not start the war and is ready to stop intercepting ships at any moment – as soon as the US unblocks the strait and Iranian ports.

I admire Iran's leadership! They don't need red lines...
IRGC fighters - you are simply real men, good luck to you, your actions, your work, your feat - will definitely go down in history!

      I admire Iran's leadership!..
It's not worth it. Thanks to the conventional abstention of its own leadership, Iran is being fired upon from the territory of a dozen countries, it has no control over its airspace, and its negotiators and even its military personnel are not afraid to be killed.
By comparison, the Ukrainians only attack us from their own territory, their aircraft rarely reach even the LBS, and Vladimir Vladimirovich gets a red carpet at the ramp, and so on.

The Iranians have been pushing for a complete lifting of sanctions and unfreezing of accounts for a month.

They still have to master satellite-controlled drones - they will be able to counter the might of the US Navy.

That's right, the United States and its comrades are hunting Iranian and Russian ships, and Iran is hunting US and satellite ships.
They (the Iranians) are confident in themselves and their rightness, they are not dependent on the West, like Russia.

It's a shame they shot at the Spruance, the Iranian container ship, they didn't attack with such a crowd.
No Aegis would have helped him against such a gang and a simultaneous attack. request
I would have gone straight to the bottom, along with the crew of striped pirates. Yes

Such an attack would have been too costly. "A couple more victories like this, and I'll have no troops left" (c) almost a quote

The Persians are no strangers to "mosquito-ing." They were already using these "mosquitoes" in the Persian Gulf during the Iran-Iran War. It's time to remember that what's new is well-forgotten old, and is it really forgotten? winked

This once again proves the inferiority of large warships in the Black, Baltic and Caspian Seas.
