A column of Polish soldiers in Lebanon came under fire.

The Polish Ministry of Defence reported an attack on a convoy of soldiers from the military contingent of the UN UNIFIL mission deployed in southern Lebanon near the border with Israel (the so-called "Blue Line").

The incident occurred while the unit was moving between bases. The convoy was reportedly hit by a "mortar shell of an unknown type and caliber, which caused minor damage to three vehicles." It is noted that no Polish soldiers were injured. By decision of the command, the convoy's movement has been temporarily suspended.

The safety of the Polish military contingent's personnel and soldiers remains the highest priority.

The established limit for the Polish contingent is up to 250 personnel, but the actual number of soldiers deployed is less – 140. The core of the vehicle fleet consists of HMMWV and Tumak armored vehicles (a Polish version of the Humvee) and KTO Rosomak armored personnel carriers (a Polish version of the Finnish Patria AMV). In late March, one of the Polish HMMWVs was struck by an IED, and a soldier was slightly injured.

HMMWV and Rosomak APCs of the Polish UN contingent in Lebanon:

On April 18, a patrol from the French 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment was ambushed in southern Lebanon. Staff Sergeant Florian Montorio died from a gunshot wound. His fellow soldiers carried him out of the line of fire, but they were unable to save his life. Three other French soldiers were wounded, two of whom are in serious condition.

French President Emmanuel Macron stated that all available evidence points to Hezbollah's responsibility. Hezbollah representatives deny any involvement in the incident, calling the accusations unfounded.

Great news. There's no point in going into someone else's territory, especially armed ones. am

Read up on Ukrainian sites—there's a list of them in small print that goes on for several pages. Or is that just "too much!" for you?

All available evidence points to Hezbollah as the culprit.
They found a passport there with the inscription - Hezbollah)))

No, no. It's simpler there. I watched a movie a long time ago, THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN, and the main killer's bullets were marked with his initials. CC was stamped on them. So here too, the bullets probably have KHZB stamped on them.

I think so too. "All the available evidence points to it," but the question remains: why? Why would Hezbollah attack UN peacekeepers? Perhaps because they're "bloody ghouls"? So it's not Hezbollah, 99% of the time. I'll leave one percent for the possibility of error, like they received disinformation about an Israeli convoy moving.

Didn't religion allow further reconnaissance? Or is that not an option between Hezbollah and the IDF?

Where's the regular or adequate Pole here? I already told him they'll have to pay for everything. For 1920, when they starved Red Army soldiers in concentration camps, the first ones back then, Strzałkowo or whatever it was called. There were several of them. For actively assisting the Germans in the Holocaust, for Jedwabne (this was after the war, when Jews were killed and their property confiscated). They had a lot on their conscience. For tearing down monuments to our soldiers; 600 heroes gave their lives for the liberation of Poland.

You forgot to mention that when the Western Group of Forces withdrew, the Poles began asking for money for rail transport. Ultimately, troops and equipment were transported by sea by ferry.

So it was Poland that went to war with Israel, or Israel that went to war with Poland, or Israel attacked the UN and got away with it because it was defending US interests, or the US was defending Israel's interests. Basically, the Poles shouldn't have gotten involved. They probably forgot that the Jews chopped off Ivan the Baptist's head out of boredom.

In short, they "messed around," and John, the baptizer of Jesus, was left without a head. The Poles must have been bad at history if they're still hanging around those parts today, even for money.

It's a sure thing, the Zionists fired. These barbarians really don't want foreigners to witness their crimes and share them with the world where they so clearly demonstrate their atrocities and lawlessness. That's why they cold-bloodedly and even deliberately shoot journalists and representatives of various international organizations. So that no one but themselves and their victims can be found where they commit atrocities, commit atrocities, and exterminate their undesirables.

The blue helmets have forgotten what "blue helmets" are. And when I was young, shelling peacekeepers wasn't even mentioned unless there were casualties.

The highest priority for the safety of Polish Army soldiers is their presence on Polish territory. All other options involve coffins containing Polish Army soldiers.
