Trump is confident that the deal with Iran will be concluded today.

US President Donald Trump announced that the long-awaited deal with Iran will be signed today in Islamabad. He announced this in an interview with Fox News and in social media posts.

According to Trump, an American delegation led by Vice President J.D. Vance is already heading to the Pakistani capital for a second round of talks:

My representatives will be there this evening for negotiations. We are offering Iran a very fair and reasonable deal. I am confident that everything will be signed today (US time - VO note).

He also added that if an agreement is reached, he may personally come to Islamabad for its final signing.

Pakistan, it should be noted, is the key mediator in the process. The talks are taking place against the backdrop of a fragile two-week ceasefire, which expires on April 21, and tensions around the Strait of Hormuz. As a reminder, a US Navy destroyer attacked an Iranian commercial vessel en route from China while approaching the strait. Iran responded to the attack with a strike. drones against US warships in the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.

Trump previously accused Iran of violating the ceasefire and threatened to strike Iranian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, if the deal was abandoned.

The Iranian side has so far refrained from officially confirming its participation in today's talks. Iranian state media have expressed skepticism and spoken of "mistrust" of American intentions following recent incidents, including US Navy actions in the region.

Global markets are reacting to Trump's statements with increased optimism: oil prices have fallen slightly in anticipation of a possible breakthrough. Brent crude has fallen to $93,75 per barrel, while Urals has fallen to $99-$100.

Experts note that the two sides' positions on key issues—Iran's nuclear program, regional proxies, and control of the Strait—remain fundamentally different. Iran claims the US must recognize its sovereignty over Hormuz and accept its right to peaceful nuclear energy. The US is unwilling to hear any such thing, demanding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the disarmament of Hezbollah, and the transfer of enriched uranium.

If the Americans had kept their end of the bargain, maybe something would have worked out. But for now, they're still trying to cheat.

It's a shame, he still has a lot in store. The funny thing is that the stock market swindlers drove oil prices down again, and then, disappointed, up again. Yes And who's making money on these races? Who knows what Trump will say tomorrow?
This is Business. And accustoming Europe and other interested parties (oil) to new oil prices. bully There WILL BE NO MORE cheap oil. No matter how the border states and freeloaders try.
Iran, by the way, doesn't need cheap oil either. And this is precisely where the ayatollahs and Trump seem to agree. With oil prices like these, it's time to "drill, baby, DRILL."
        This is Business.
And revenge on Europe and England for all their betrayals, theft of American money, disobedience, and joy at the failures of Epstein's Gulf Coalition. And Trump loves revenge. Yes He makes money on this Revenge. bully

The Iranians don't seem to be planning a trip to Islamabad. If so, Trump will have to sign off on both sides. This brings to mind a joke: a guy is doing push-ups outside. Another guy comes up, looks at the athlete, and says, "What are you fidgeting about? Your woman hasn't come yet."

I don't get it: are they deliberately translating Doni's statements to create the impression that he can't speak coherently and that he suffers from short-term memory loss? Or is Trump's habit—saying nonsense, and each time saying it differently, to confuse the audience? Or is he a pathological liar and chatterbox? It's not clear...
The self-propelled one wasn't exactly a gift for America, but at least it was less dangerous. And Red began to promote peace across the globe by bombing countries, kidnapping leaders of other countries, and attacking ships on the high seas...

On the morning of April 20, Iran executed two members of a spy ring linked to Israeli intelligence. Mohammed Masoom Shahi and Hamed Validi were sentenced to death for plotting terrorist attacks. The convicts met with Mossad officers in Iraqi Kurdistan. They then underwent terrorist training, including locating high-value targets and making explosives. According to investigators, the spies were plotting to set fire to military and public facilities in Tehran.

If you recall, Trump once announced on social media that he had banned Iran from carrying out executions. A month has passed, and the Iranians continue to execute those they deem necessary. Regarding the discrepancy between Trump's omnipotence on social media and the reality in Iran.

And yes, the practice of capital punishment for terrorists and enemy collaborators in wartime is correct. Iranians do not stand on ceremony with internal enemies in this regard, especially when the survival of the country and its people is at stake.

One can only be filled with envy. How many idiots would see the light if they saw their prospects of dangling from the boom of a crane. And with close-ups, and no anonymity.

Donald is so annoying with this "deal"! This term has been constantly used lately, at his instigation, polluting the Russian language.
In the traditional sense, a "deal" is a commercial agreement concluded under certain conditions by business representatives. The commercial concept of a deal itself is inapplicable to politics and always implies a Judas-like sellout of one's interests.
But in Russian, this term also has another negative connotation: "a deal with conscience," "a deal with the devil." How long will we continue to use the terms of our enemies? It will soon reach the point where we'll be celebrating Victory Day on May 9th as the "May 9th Deal." God forbid! Let's purge our rich Russian language of such terms! There are other, more legitimate terms: contract, agreement, and so on.

Translation into Russian is not a problem. That is exactly why we think of “deal” (English deal), which is the Targovian term.

Donny is trying to climb out of the pit of filth Netanyahu pushed him into with as little damage to his credibility as possible. Now, he's trying to push through an agreement with Iran before his visit to Beijing. Trump understands perfectly well that if that doesn't happen, Xi will have nothing to discuss with him.

Even if the Iranians attend these negotiations, there will obviously be no deal. At best, there will be an agreement to continue them and relative stability in the region, as well as oil prices, for a while. At worst, a new, fierce phase of Iran's military confrontation with the Zionist aggressors will begin. And if Iran is successful again, these inhuman beasts will eventually use nuclear weapons against them. And, what's more, they will face no consequences except angry condemnation from some. Alas, we have a world under the complete domination of the servants of the Antichrist, in which they dictate what is and is not permissible and who is boss. Everyone, even the greatest, sovereign powers, confines themselves to angry condemnations of child killers and lawless individuals who have no equal in the world, but even they hesitate to stand up for the oppressed, to call treacherous terrorists and aggressors, international criminals, and the like, as such. ((( Such a world is doomed... unless Iran, by some miracle, survives, thus setting a limit to the devil's hegemony and expansion, and giving hope and faith in salvation to all who do not agree to bow before the devil, in the possibility of victory and self-preservation for them...

They'll be assailed. After almost two months of combat operations, I'm more than certain that Iran has a surprise in store for the aggressors, especially for Israel. It's too bad it won't reach Washington, though...

They won't chicken out))). And what do you think they'll be afraid of? Who?) Condemnation from the international community? Or?
So, how? If Iran doesn't agree to all their conditions (and they won't), what will the Americans have left to unblock Hormuz? A ground operation, they've realized, is too risky and unlikely to yield the desired results for the aggressors... quite the opposite, in fact. So, the only option left is to first knock out all of Iran's energy resources, and then, if it starts hitting back hard, especially against Israel... the Ziono-Saxon fascists will have no choice but to strike Iran with nuclear weapons to stop the destruction of Israel, including...

Really?))) And for the treacherous, completely illegal, in violation of all international norms, etc., simply terrorist attack on Iran, did it cause any consequences for the US and Israel, from those you listed, well, other than condemnation? Yeah, the Zionist aggressors don't give a damn about all these modest
Even angry condemnations don't stop them from committing their crimes and achieving their goals... If nuclear weapons were used, there would be a similar, albeit even more angry, reaction, but I repeat, the aggressors couldn't care less about it, not a damn thing... They are not bound by the law, and until there are no real forces in the world capable of prohibiting these terrorists from doing what they deem necessary and acceptable in pursuit of their goals, they will do so, regardless of any toothless condemnations, etc., from anyone.

Iran's claim to "sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz" has been mentioned repeatedly. But this is practically impossible, as the strait's shores belong not only to Iran, but also to Oman and the UAE. And the strait is blocked by the territorial waters of the three aforementioned states. So, despite all the sympathy for Iran, a flagrant violation of international maritime law is unlikely. I believe that in a hypothetical vote on this issue, whether at the IMO, the Security Council, or the UN General Assembly, no one would support Iran's claim. This would open a "Pandora's box" for other key international straits—the English Channel, the Strait of Malacca, and so on.

Iran owns a number of islands and has created a corridor exclusively within its own waters, between its islands. Minefields have been laid in the waters you mentioned to block passage for the navies of the aggressors and those who have joined them. They're at war there, if you've heard...

So what does this change legally? Iran mined the safest fairways approved by the IMO and located in Omani waters. In other words, it committed an act of aggression against a country not directly involved in the conflict. And now it's demanding something unclear. The temporary fairways Iran established are already in its territorial waters. So Iran is demanding that Omani territorial waters be handed over to it?
Demanding the right to mine someone else's waters? This is, in effect, a legal atrocity that cannot serve as the basis for peace in Hormuz.

Oman is in on the deal, and in on it. Iran is dutifully handing it its share of the shipping fees. And Oman was a mediator in Iran's affairs, advocating for peace talks between Iran and the US. When Iran agreed to the agenda, the "cowboys" simply bombed it on the eve of the talks.
