As Politico reports, citing diplomats and officials, Israel may soon face sanctions from Brussels. The reason is simple: the main "blocker" of such decisions, Viktor Orbán, has resigned.

The Hungarian prime minister has long blocked any anti-Israel initiatives. Now, following his party's defeat in the elections and Péter Magyar's rise to power, his veto may disappear. The publication notes:
