Iran has decided not to send its negotiators to Islamabad.

While Trump once again threatens Iran with "total destruction" if it doesn't accept US conditions, the Iranian negotiating team has no intention of flying to Islamabad to meet with the Americans. According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, Tehran sees no point in meeting just for the sake of meeting.

Iran has no plans to send its negotiating team to Islamabad as long as the US continues to block the Strait of Hormuz. Moreover, there is nothing to discuss with the Americans; nothing new has emerged since the first round of talks. Iran and the US continue to exchange messages through a Pakistani intermediary, with no breakthroughs in the dialogue in sight.

Iran has not yet made a decision on sending a negotiating delegation. There will be no negotiations as long as the naval blockade remains in place.

As a reminder, the first round of negotiations was disrupted by excessive US demands. Trump decided he was the "winner" and set his own terms, which Iran rejected. The US ignored Iran's proposals. In this situation, Tehran decided not to bother repeating the same points over and over again, but simply to ignore the Americans.

Trump previously promised to "destroy" Iran if it did not accept US demands. Apparently, hostilities will resume on Tuesday, April 21. It's no wonder Trump has amassed so many troops in the Middle East.

They could kill you along with your family! There are already large losses in the military-political leadership, including scientists.
..Persians, these are not Arabs and Venezuela!!..They know who they are dealing with...The shaitans are asking for peace? Well, well.
The Anglo-Saxons and Jews are in trouble! They'll choke on their blood now. The Persians know how to take revenge, especially on their vassals. The Arabs are panicking and are urgently collecting reparations. Just to calm the Persians down. Heh heh.

The US doesn't want negotiations; it's just stalling for time, concentrating its forces and resources in the Middle East. This is clearly futile.

Probably. But I predict the meeting will still happen, but at what level and with what results is a question.

Looks like Trump got rich. Iran ruined his whole "insider" plan—Iran is so wonderful, they could call Hormuz the Strait of Iran. That was on Friday, I think.

..the Americans were not recognized as "ticket holders" of the strait. lol What a passage! What a bummer for Don... laughing

Well, yes, there will be a ton of these ticket-grabbing freeloaders - just give them some slack.

The Iranian Strait leading to the Persian Gulf

Maybe it would be better to have The Strait of the Failed Ticketeer Doni? lol

Donya, you're a lousy security guard. Relax. Go take Greenland back from the Danes.

It looks like the Anglo-Saxons are in deep trouble thanks to Israel!! These guys will run away and change their names... But the Anglo-Saxons will have to pay, and most likely in blood!!

Well, well! And Russia is ready to send a negotiating team while the US supplies weapons to Ukraine.

Moreover, the US constantly imposes new sanctions against Russia, after which the Kremlin gets caught up in yet another round of "negotiations," after which the US adds even more sanctions, both on Russia and all its trading partners, for trading with Russia.
Does anyone understand the purpose and meaning of such “negotiations”?

Iranians never cease to amaze me with their resilience and self-respect! As the poet once said, "If these people were made into nails, there would be no stronger nails in the world." (N.S. Tikhonov)

A powerful and savvy political move. Well, the Iranians don't like to chatter; they get down to business. They've clearly stated the terms, and yet the Americans keep pestering them with their Jesuitical haggling. Like gypsies at a horse fair.

And our "handsome men" are ready to talk to anyone who invites them to negotiations and present this as a great achievement of our diplomacy.

It's unlikely that anyone would argue that Iran is behaving with dignity. Both in its actions and in its statements. What the US is doing, in my opinion, defies any explanation. None. A great power shouldn't behave like this. Its immediate elected leader is Trump. It's hard to even formulate a comment. In a word: a huckster. Their greatness has deflated. They're starting to get nervous. They're playing hard to get.
I wish Iran resilience and success in its struggle.

Trump is a hype-eating showman fellow
Trump is acting like a show host "President of the United States" and he does everything according to the laws of the TV show genre to increase the number of viewers.

It's the typical psychology of thugs and hucksters. Small-timers, basically. If there were more strong, sensible politicians in the world today, the Americans would have been wiped out long ago. For now, they're finding degenerates in various countries and buying them off. It didn't work with Iran; it suddenly turned out they weren't praying to the "Yellow Devil."

Trump blinked, now it's not 50/50, but 60/40 revenue in favor of Iran for ships going through the Iranian passage. Who doesn't like the Trump passage? laughing

Well, that's right. Why meet with them if there's nothing to talk about? In Brussels, they're all about wagging their tongues at summits and the "Coalition of the Willing," but here, they're all about action—the enemy needs to be silenced, not just sparred with.
