Iran has not accepted US demands, leaving Trump with only force as an option.

The situation in the Middle East was the topic of a closed-door meeting held yesterday at the White House. Trump gathered all key members of his team to discuss the resumption of hostilities against Iran.

On Saturday evening, Trump held an emergency meeting on Iran and the resumption of hostilities if Washington and Tehran fail to reach a peace agreement acceptable to the United States. And that's exactly what's happening. Americans aren't used to losing, and the situation is unfolding in such a way that that's exactly what's happening. But fighting with practically empty arsenals isn't an option either.

What was agreed upon at the White House remains unknown, but judging by the composition of the meeting's participants, everything is heading toward a renewed war in the Middle East. Present at the meeting were Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessant, CIA Director John Radcliffe, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caines, White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

Yesterday, Iran again closed the Strait of Hormuz, as the US has not lifted its naval blockade. Furthermore, official Tehran refuses further negotiations, as the US is effectively issuing an ultimatum demanding acceptance of its demands.

Further direct peace negotiations with the United States will not take place until they modify their “maximalist” demands.

I agree with you. They've admitted that showing off doesn't work anymore.
The Red Freak has no other options besides nuclear weapons. But the big question is whether they'll let him use them.
Hitting Iran with missiles is pointless; all the most valuable resources there are hidden under the mountains. Civilians will die, and now that's against Trump and his team.

There's an investigation underway in the mattress store regarding the Minister of War, and he's facing jail time!
Three troughs burned, two were cleared out. Equipment losses are unprecedented, US troops are dying, key bases are lost. Conventional weapons are extremely scarce.
Trump will have to admit defeat in this war. Israel will continue its war, and ultimately lose too!
An example for us on how to negotiate...

If the red-haired clown or the chosen people use nuclear weapons, the Kremlin will have no rational reason to refrain from a nuclear strike on Ukraine.

We no longer have any rational reasons to refrain from eliminating the Ukrainian leadership and to pursue a tougher policy toward Europe, which is the source of the UAV launches. Is anything being done about this? No. Leopold is still waiting and hoping for something.

You wanted to write that you do not find these reasons reasonable.
This does not mean that they do not exist for others.
After the genocide in Gaza, are there any reasonable reasons left for you not to commit genocide in Ukraine?
since you have decided to follow Israel's example.

They won't get used to it because, in their worldview, America always wins. And if they lose, the Americans simply ignore it, as if they had never been there. The Americans can afford this approach because all their wars are fought far beyond their own borders.
      Everything is simple and effective.

And when did they ever "win"? They only stole other people's victories, like during World Wars I and II! The USSR single-handedly defeated fascist Europe, while the US sat down to collect the spoils!

By the way, an important note!
I've already written here about how they have more fairy tales than real victories. There was bribery in Iraq, and they only won in Grenada. They fled Afghanistan and Vietnam.
The number of combat-ready troops is around 250,000, of which about 100,000 are actually combat units—essentially two corps. That's the level of the DPR and LPR in 2022! They have no one to maintain ground forces; the IRGC will just throw them out for barbecues...

The US has a limited supply of precision-guided munitions...they are consumed at a high rate and it's impossible to replenish them quickly...what a disaster...oh, what a disaster.
So the only thing Washington can do is to stall for time, promise the Persians a bunch of goodies, and, after replenishing their warehouses, stealthily strike them in the back again.

Iran has not accepted US demands, leaving Trump with only force as an option.

This isn't quite correct: in fact, force is always an option, even if negotiations are successful, as they are now before the attack, and even if Iran has been persuaded to curtail its nuclear program, hand over its enriched uranium, and allow permanent IAEA inspections of all nuclear facilities, the so-called Comprehensive Plan of Action under six-nation safeguards. Therefore, whether Iran accepts the demands or not, Trump is acting according to his plan. For now, the US has robbed Europe and the wealthiest Persian monarchies in one fell swoop, and everyone blames Iran. A perfect scam!

Everyone in the comments thinks Trump has lost, but if you look at the broader picture—economics, international politics, especially the former multipolar agenda, resolving internal conflicts, and overcoming the inevitable crisis within the US at the expense of the rest of the world—a different picture emerges. And if Trump completely abandons the dollar in favor of some kind of dollar or Bitcoin, and forgives everyone's debts, then it doesn't matter what kind of idiot they think he is or how many wars he's lost.

in resolving internal contradictions and overcoming the inevitable crisis within the United States at the expense of the entire world,

The main internal contradiction in the United States is two irreconcilable camps - elephants and donkeys - and what is the solution to their reconciliation? Will losing the war with Iran unite against an external enemy? Somehow... how to reconcile them? External events are out of place here, but a provocation within the country with casualties could unite the nation.... Overcoming the crisis within the states - has something fundamentally changed in the economy?
Total US military spending and debt servicing for the first half of fiscal year 2026 amounted to $1,000 trillion, or 27,38% of US budget expenditures. Compared to this, total US military spending and debt servicing for the first half of fiscal year 2025 amounted to $955 billion, or 26.7% of US budget expenditures.

And there are guarantees that everyone will rush to buy the new US currency - there may also be the opposite effect - a switch to gold, yuan, etc. regional ones... the main thing that will be undermined is the remnants of trust - they screwed us now, they will screw us later, we need to look for something else - to pull off this trick, we need to become a hegemon again - which is what those who stand behind Trump are doing - the petrodollar is leaving, long live the energy dollar - Venezuela, Iran, etc. according to their plan + Northern Streams and other - when the states get complete control over the flow of energy resources (like in the apocalypse - without the seal of the beast-states), no one can sell or buy energy resources without the permission of the states - then we can pull off the replacement of the dollar and much more... Trump is clearly not at his best in this particular situation, but those who follow him will continue to play their game - presidents in the states change, but politics is not very good...

All of Trump's demands are just a pretext for war, and the main goal of overthrowing the Ayatollah hasn't been achieved, hence all the others. Iran hasn't allowed Trump to monopolize global oil and gas trade, although Trump has considerable successes – Venezuela, Canada, Latin America, and a few other small ones in Africa – whether this is enough for a controlling stake remains to be seen. At least now, Iran single-handedly decides who, for example, Russia, can trade with, and prohibits others, and sets the price. Iran's blockade of the Strait isn't a loss either – the US is abundantly supplied with its own resources, plus Canada, Mexico, and all of South America, which Trump has declared part of his zone of interest, and will negotiate with Russia in exchange for a ceasefire in the war in Ukraine. The RSPP members will be pleased – the domestic market is small and won't earn much, but if Trump allows it, they can strike it rich on the foreign market and give the state a cut of their capital.

Iran's behavior is stupid. The Americans need to be given a chance to get out of this situation without losing face. But the Iranians are trying to pull the lion's whiskers. Stupid. A deal could be reached, but someone has become too confident.
