Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said US President Donald Trump is determined to maintain pressure on Iran as part of the ongoing military operation.

Netanyahu said Washington would maintain a naval blockade of Iranian ports and the Strait of Hormuz "for as long as necessary" to deprive Tehran of economic leverage and force it to make serious concessions.

Back then, they imposed a brutal blockade of Leningrad, and now they have imposed a complete naval blockade of an entire country, Iran. And this is far from the first such case for these countries. Israel and the United States have maintained a naval blockade of Gaza and Cuba for decades, with all the humanitarian consequences for their citizens.
