Zelensky: The Druzhba oil pipeline will be repaired in April, but not completely.

Kyiv's prime minister, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced at a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz that the Druzhba oil pipeline would be repaired by the end of April, albeit not completely, but sufficiently so that it would be operational. According to Zelenskyy, it would not be possible to repair all the reservoirs, as the process would be extremely time-consuming. The Ukrainian dictator expressed confidence that Kyiv would cooperate fruitfully with the new Hungarian government.

According to Merz, Hungary will also be offered the option of using the pipeline that runs through Croatia instead of the Druzhba pipeline. While the previous Hungarian government rejected this proposal, the German chancellor hopes the country's new authorities will be more accommodating.

As is known, since late January of this year, Russian oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia via the southern branch of the Druzhba pipeline through Ukraine have been suspended. Kyiv explained this by citing the impossibility of continuing transit due to damage to the pipeline infrastructure. In response, the Hungarian and Slovak authorities have repeatedly stated that they do not believe the Ukrainian side's explanation and consider the oil supply halt a political decision.

Earlier, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated that Bratislava would block the EU's loan to Ukraine until Kyiv resumes transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline.

Hungary is following the Moldovan example, when they removed Dodon and installed Sandu. Say what you will about European officials, but they manage, as always, to turn shit into candy (or maybe even vice versa).

Why do we even need this pipeline? There are already people to sell oil to other than unfriendly countries. If Zelenskyy wants to repair it, let him do it. We simply don't need to accept it and use it after it's repaired!

The best option. Russia didn't want this.

Bratislava will block the EU from issuing a loan to Ukraine until Kyiv resumes transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline.

Having received Russian oil, they will vote for a loan for the war with Russia. Has the world gone mad?

Zveroboy. There's no war in Russia, there's a strange military operation going on. Our strategist-chess-player-surgeon, I don't remember what else he's called, he's fulfilling previously signed contracts, so oil will flow to the enemies, right away, they can supply diesel fuel, let them refuel their tanks. It's not them or their relatives who are dying.

After Vitya's defeat, no one would have doubted it, but for the fifth year of the war, the Russian Federation has been supplying the enemy with gas, electricity, fertilizers, seafood, lumber, metals and other goods necessary for the enemy to wage war.

Young Magyar apparently assumed that when he won the election, oil through "Friendship" and money from the EU would flow immediately and in the required quantities, but everything will likely turn out differently, and until he destroys everything that Orban created and fought for, Hungary will receive it in small portions and limited quantities. sad

It's stupid to just block it before it starts working, you need to block it for as long as it wasn't working, after it resumes working... That is, if it wasn't working for six months, then after the "repairs", don't give consent for another six months.

What if Hungary and Slovakia unblock Ukraine's loan, but not completely?
Orban could do it, but this cunning scoundrel Magyar is unlikely to be able to
He is already ready to bend over backwards for the EU, he is just putting on a little airs.

In fact, we decided on the loan: "We will give it to you, but not now, but in three months, maybe...".something like "the Druzhba oil pipeline will be repaired by the end of April, although not completely." The main thing is to reassure your "comrade", but hope dies last...

The previous Hungarian government did not accept this proposal, but the German chancellor hopes that the country's new authorities will be more accommodating.

    position of the leading government
"The capacity of the oil pipeline coming from Croatia is less than the oil needs of Hungary and Slovakia. I'm talking about Hungary and Slovakia because the Druzhba pipeline and the pipeline from Croatia are simultaneously responsible for supplying two countries. This is physics, this is reality," Péter Szijjártó said on the program "Borcovský čas." According to him, Budapest asked Zagreb to increase the pipeline's capacity. However, no one did so, despite appeals from the European Commission. "As a result, the Croatians didn't increase the pipeline's capacity, but increased the transit fee five times compared to the European one. Because they realized that the Hungarians, since the pipeline is under attack from Ukraine, need the Croatian pipeline much more... Therefore, we have to pay a 'war surcharge' for oil coming from Croatia," the Hungarian Foreign Minister stated.

"They will be more accommodating." Merz believes that the new members must unquestioningly pay a "military surcharge" for transit—five times more. Both Hungarians and Slovaks receive oil; now Magyar's task, together with the EU, is to push Fico through the Slovaks. It's good that Orban left; there won't be any ambiguity.

What a distorted mirror... The war has been going on for five years, and we have suspended, but after repairs we will continue, gas supplies through enemy territory... Having paid in advance for transit to this very enemy.

We're talking about oil, if you've read the news. All those convoluted statements from Zeli about partial pipeline repairs are a claim that all the oil won't reach its destination—like something's broken...

Yes, I'm sorry, we're talking about oil... I just don't understand the situation in general - for assistance and donations to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russians are facing a prison sentence, and a rather long one at that (and that's right), but at the same time, the state itself is ready to pay for the transportation of oil... Somehow it doesn't fit. request
