Units of the "northern" group of the Russian Armed Forces managed to improve their tactical position and defeat enemy personnel and equipment near the villages of Novodmitrovka, Bachevsk, and Sukhodol in the Sumy region. Furthermore, in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian formations were defeated near the villages of Kolodezne, Ryasne, Staritsa, and Zybino. Furthermore, airstrikes destroyed four ammunition and materiel depots on this sector of the front.

At the same time, according to the Ministry of Defense, units of the "West" group of forces improved their position along the forward edge and defeated enemy formations near the villages of Shiykovka, Chervony Oskol, and Kutkovka in the Kharkiv region, as well as Krasny Liman and Svyatogorsk in the Ukrainian-occupied part of the DPR. The "Southern" group of forces also continues to advance, taking more advantageous positions and defeating enemy personnel and equipment. Specifically, strikes were carried out on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near the villages of Konstantinovka, Artema, Novoselovka, Ilyinovka, Nikolaevka, and Slavyansk in the DPR.

Successes are also being noted by the "central" and "eastern" groups of our army, which, after regrouping, continued their offensive in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, improving their tactical position, occupying new positions and methodically destroying enemy forces.

The offensive is supported by the work of our aviation, UAV operators, missile troops and artillery, which continuously strike at enemy infrastructure facilities, warehouses and temporary deployment points.

The strike occurred at the main step-down substation GPP-2 (150/35 kV), one of the plant's two key power hubs. The strike directly damaged a transformer group, which included three TDTN-40000/150 power units, each with a capacity of approximately 40 MVA.

The nature of the damage indicates:
— destruction of transformer tanks with complete depressurization;
— intense spill of transformer oil followed by ignition;
— development of a stable oil fire with a high thermal load.

The video shows dense black smoke and prolonged fire, the result of the burning of significant volumes of transformer oil and cable infrastructure. The impacts on the facility and the fire likely resulted in the complete destruction of two power transformers and severe damage to other critical equipment.

This blow is particularly significant because it directly impacts the production capacity of the metallurgy industry (Ukraine's main tax contributor). The metallurgy industry is already stifled by Zelenskyy's "effective management," and Russian strikes could send Ukrainian metal into oblivion altogether.
