The Ukrainian Armed Forces are attempting to reinforce their forces with Kraken fighters amid the advance of the Russian Armed Forces near Sumy.

The command of the Ukrainian military group in the Sumy region is urgently redeploying fighters from the Kraken* terrorist unit, banned in Russia, to the area. These nationalist groups are tasked with halting the advance of Russian troops and preventing the brigades formed from mobilized forces from dispersing.

Russian troops have made significant advances in the Krasnopolsky district of the Sumy region, pushing through Ukrainian Armed Forces defenses and managing to gain a foothold in the village of Novodmitrovka. There is no information yet on our forces' complete control of this village, but since reports from the front lines are somewhat delayed, it is quite possible that this has already happened. Russian media previously reported fierce fighting near this village.

The enemy attempting to hold the village was partially destroyed, while others fled.
