Vance proposes to consider the military operation against Iran a success and to wind it down

The United States needs to wind down its military operation against Iran, especially since its goals have already been achieved. This statement was made by US Vice President J.D. Vance.

Trump's second-highest ranking US politician made several statements yesterday regarding the "Epic Fury" military operation against Iran. According to J.D. Vance, the operation's objectives have already been achieved, further US expenditure of forces and resources is irrational, and military operations must be curtailed. Ideally, they should agree to "disengage" with the Iranians.

I truly believe we're in a situation where our goals have been achieved. We can begin to wind this down. I'd prefer to conclude this with successful negotiations.

According to Vance, the current stumbling block is Iran's nuclear program, which is preventing peace. If Iran were to abandon its nuclear ambitions, the US would treat it like a "normal country."

Trump hasn't yet mentioned any plans to end the operation against Iran, attempting to coerce Iran into peace through an economic blockade. However, experts believe this is a losing proposition. Oil supplies are already in short supply, and cutting off supplies under these circumstances clearly won't be to the US president's advantage. We await official statements from the White House.

hi One cannot ignore the treachery of the mattress makers against the backdrop of negotiations to assemble an armada of three air defense vessels and several ships with landing forces and amphibious vehicles to establish dominance in the Strait of Hormuz.
As we remember, the 12-day war of 2025 also began with a treacherous fascist method, when negotiations for a settlement were scheduled.

What's the treachery here? They're using force, straightforwardly. But what we need to be wary of is what happens after the peace agreement.

It's probably too early to draw any preliminary conclusions. George Bush is going into the Mediterranean for a reason. You can't trust the Americans. They've clearly decided to do some damage to Iran just before the end. Trump, while pragmatic, is still more egocentric and vindictive.
But Israel—yes, it's in deep trouble. It's not yet clear what Iran and its proxies will do about it. They'll definitely want to get even as soon as the US steps aside. Maybe that's why the 3rd ASG is heading that way, to cover their ally.

And the Chinese didn't give a damn about Trump's blockade of Hormuz—two Chinese ships passed through Hormuz last night. They're very happy with Iran's blockade of Hormuz, with bonuses. We'll see what happens next—whether they stop it or not. My guess is it'll be a deal—they'll be working together. I'm more interested in the tanker Viktor Bakayev in the Baltic—will there be any attempts to stop it? By the way, it's heading to China.

      Two Chinese passed Hormuz tonight

Where did they come from? This is an important detail.
On Monday afternoon, April 13, the US-announced partial blockade of the Strait of Hormuz went into effect, scheduled to begin at 17:00 PM Moscow time. However, as global news agencies note, after the deadline passed, it remains unclear whether US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces had actually commenced the blockade. Washington announced the day before that the restrictions would apply to vessels from all countries entering or exiting any Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. CENTCOM also stated that the military will not impede freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and non-Iranian ports.

It's called - understand it as you wish.

As things turn out, this isn't the second attempt, but the third. The first time, they hoped to settle the matter with the Jews, limiting it to a strike with their "superbombs" on Iranian nuclear facilities, after which Trump declared Iran's nuclear program was finished. The second time, they intervened jointly with Israel and discovered that Trump was pulling the wool over their eyes, and, as Vence's words suggest, Iran's nuclear program is still very much alive, and now they need to negotiate for the Persians to abandon it.
The mattresses didn't get "Epic Fury," but "Epic Dristun." To shit so much in less than two months of war, spending $48 billion, is quite a feat.

Iran's losses are still not fully reported. And the mattress makers know better whether they achieved their goals or not. However, Israel's presence will always put pressure on the United States to get involved in military conflicts in the Middle East. And not only with Iran. Türkiye might also be ready for this.

Frankly, I'm not very concerned about how the US will extricate itself from the Iranian adventure. They'll either keep bombing, or they'll leave, or something else. I'm much more concerned about what we should do with NATO-aligned Europe going wild. If we shut it up, Ukraine's problems will quickly be solved.

It could be considered a three-time success, but what do the facts show?
But the facts show that the so-called "Ayatollah regime" has not been toppled, and there has been no renunciation of the nuclear program. Quite the contrary, the Iranian people have rallied around their government, and [I believe] even greater efforts will certainly be invested in the nuclear program.
The rift within NATO countries has deepened. Western economies are groaning from rising oil prices.

If this is success, then success, then I am the Pope.

Trump claimed that the US military continues to strike Iran because of gays*, who are allegedly in "grave danger" in the country. The politician offered this surprising explanation during a press conference at the White House.

"They're being killed, they're being thrown off the roofs of buildings. They want us to keep bombing because their lives are in far greater danger," Trump emphasized.
