Pakistan unveils Mudamir-LR attack drone inspired by Shahid

Pakistani strike vehicle debuted at World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh UAV Mudamir-LR. Its concept, as it openly admits, is borrowed from the Iranian Shahed family of platforms.

The fuselage is 3,5 meters long, with a wingspan of 2,5 meters. It has a delta wing, a pusher propeller, and a vertical tail. And a range of over 600 kilometers. This is enough to reach virtually any target on the coast and in the near-sea zone.

But the most important thing is the "brains." Mudamir-LR is equipped with an AI-based navigation system capable of operating in GPS jamming conditions. This means that the jammers that the Americans so often use on their ships won't help here. Drone will find the target himself.

Pakistan has already tested the new system. During naval exercises in the North Arabian Sea, the Mudamir-LR was initially used as an aerial target for anti-aircraft missiles. missile LY-80(N) systems. And then—it struck the designated target. Double testing: we were able to test both defense and offense with a single device.

The "kamikaze" missions are quite specific: destroying ships, coastal installations, radar stations, and supply hubs of expeditionary forces—all the things the West likes to smuggle to foreign shores.

It seems like a smart car, but why did they give it such an ugly name?

Is it such an ugly name?

In translation it means destroyer, annihilator.

As the name suggests, it hits infantry in their most vulnerable spots. wink

Pakistan has already tested the new technology during naval exercises.

I suggest we give Hezbollah a try...

      I think this won't rust
Testing is one thing, practical application is quite another.

Hezbollah is Shiite. Pakistanis are predominantly Sunni, and their relationship with Saudi Arabia, which opposes Iran and therefore their proxy Hezbollah, is important to them. So, they're unlikely to grant it. But Iran has plenty of its own UAVs. There's an equivalent, for example, the Hadid-110.

The main features of the Hadid-110 kamikaze drone
Now it’s time to show the “advantages” of this UAV:

The Hadid's jet engine allows it to fly at a remarkable speed of 510-600 km/h. This is fast enough to evade most man-portable air defense systems and interceptor drones.
The maximum flight altitude is 9 km, which makes it out of reach even for many MANPADS (man-portable air defense systems).
Another important feature is stealth. The drone is coated with a special radar-absorbing material. This allows it to remain "invisible" to radar for longer, especially when approaching its target.
      But that's not all!

The Hadid-110 drone can independently find and acquire targets, has a threat evasion system, and can also change missions mid-flight if the initial target has already been destroyed.

This means that this kamikaze drone is not just a “flying bomb,” but a smart and flexible tool.

The manufacturer of the Pantsir air defense missile and gun system should be made a public joint-stock company and its shares traded.
For the next 50 years, they are guaranteed to be overloaded with orders.
