Kim Jong-un accepted South Korean President's apology over UAVs on border

Kim Jong-un appreciated the South Korean president's gesture. Lee Jae-myong personally expressed regret over the launches of private drones into North Korean territory. He called these actions provocative.

Kim Yo Jong stated that the North Korean government views this move as "very encouraging and wise behavior." According to the North Korean leader's sister, the head of state noted that this demonstrates the behavior of an "honest and magnanimous person."

The incident involving drones crossing the border could have sparked another round of tension on the Korean Peninsula. However, Seoul quickly acknowledged the incident and called it a provocation. Pyongyang, for its part, demonstrated its willingness not to escalate the conflict. It decided to document what it considered the appropriate response from its southern neighbor.

This episode deviates from the usual pattern of inter-Korean relations, where every incident usually leads to mutual threats and a show of force. This time, the parties did not exchange missile launches. Instead, there were words that Pyongyang called encouraging.

The question is whether this episode will mark the beginning of normalization or remain a one-time exception. But the very fact that the North Korean leadership called the South Korean president's behavior "wise" can already be considered a small breakthrough in the long-standing standoff.

Is this your kind of humor?
When God wants to punish a person, he deprives him of reason.

To apologize, you need to respect or be afraid.
The Balts and the West have nothing to do with our power.

      Under our current leadership, never!

It's like a no-brainer. The tradition of changing one's shoes is ingrained in the proprietors. Moreover, new authorities in a proprietorship always write off the population's debts to the previous owners. A profitable feature, so to speak. 😑

There are plenty of warmongers there. But reuniting the Koreas is no longer possible; the two countries have followed too different paths.

Robert the Bruce or William Wallace would never have thought in their worst nightmare that Scotland and England would voluntarily become one country, and that the Scots would even be fine.
Koreans are one people (literally, without any exaggeration - they have one language, one script, one history), sooner or later they will unite, despite all the efforts of politicians

Doesn't the example of Germany suggest the opposite?

In the DPRK, they came to terms with this under Un.

Sooner or later, the North will annex the South. Simply because of the attitude of South Korean women, who generally don't want to have children and have less than one child on average. In other words, the southerners will "die out like those dinotheres" (C)

The reasons are purely economic, by the way. Everyone's in debt, way worse than we are... God forbid you get sick - you and your child are doomed, they just don't need it...

    Well done Kim
He doesn't act like a weakling, and they apologize to him.
Of course, it has its flaws for the 21st century, but no one is perfect.

You're right, though! My youngest daughter recently told me that even I have my flaws:_
      "-Daddy! Sometimes you're too modest!" (C) /laughs/ :)
So it happens to me too. Rarely. It goes away right away and lasts a long time, but... :)

There's no need to anger the DPRK, otherwise something might sink. Does the DPRK have sanctions? wassat Kim Jong-un doesn't give a damn about these sanctions; he borders two brothers, and by land.

Everything is as usual in the spirit of anchorage:
...When your enemy is powerful, find a way to put him in a crisis, do not try to take advantage of short-term success, but extend a helping hand to him, nothing is more misleading than a kind gesture from an enemy, nothing makes him more vulnerable...

The KPA is changing its image, rearming and gaining combat experience from its northern neighbor and directly on its territory, so it's best for North Korea not to be rude. Furthermore, the ROK needs Russian oil, so it's best not to anger Russia over its "Asian Belarus."

In fact, there's a fairly strong sentiment for unification in Korea. Yes, there are plenty of contradictions there, and unification won't be a one-time thing. But, for example, the trans-Korean railway project has been under discussion since 2000, and I think it would have been implemented five times already if not for the US. As soon as the project gets off the ground, the US launches large-scale "exercises" in South Korea, and the project is shelved.
But in general, if it weren’t for the US position, the Koreans would have already somehow resolved the issue of cohabitation.

This simply isn't true. No one in the current generation, in either the south or the north, wants any kind of unification. They're already completely different countries; they don't even share the same language anymore. Unification is impossible. Only by force, but it's unlikely to happen. It's in no one's interests. Neither Japan, nor China, nor the United States will allow it.

Before the NWO, negotiations began between the DPRK and the ROK on the demilitarization line, improving relations, and so on. A visit by top officials was even in the works. Then the Americans showed up, and everything went down the drain.
But the very fact that the North Korean leadership called the South Korean president's behavior "wise" can already be considered a small breakthrough in the long-standing confrontation.
    Kim is great!
By the way, in the DPRK they don't like being referred to by their continents... There's the DPRK. And some Koreans who are a little lost. laughing

Type something like "DPRK and KDR negotiations" and you'll be happy... Negotiations for the summit, April 2018, then 2009... This is just off the top of my head.

Yes, they, the presidents of both Koreas, should communicate more often and erase the 38th parallel, that would be a surprise for the Jewish-Masonic Anglo-Saxons!

This has been going on for 20 years... In 2018, active negotiations were underway, a meeting of the leaders was planned, the Americans showed up and it all ended.
