The IDF Air Force announced the destruction of Supreme Leader Khamenei's plane.

While Donald Trump, in an interview with American television, wonders whether Iran's new supreme leader is even alive, the Israel Defense Forces has decided not to guess, but to play it safe.
Last night, the IDF Air Force targeted Mehrabad Airport in Tehran. The target was a government plane, which, according to the Israeli press service, was used not only by the late Ali Khamenei but also by his son, Mojtaba, who succeeded him.
"Precision strike," "destroyed," "terrorist regime"—there are plenty of bold statements from the Israeli military. Brigadier General Effie Defrin added that this is just the beginning: the IDF faces thousands of targets across Iran.
The Iranian leadership, however, claims otherwise: the Supreme Leader is alive and in full control of the situation. However, this is done remotely—all statements are broadcast through announcers, and he himself stubbornly avoids public appearances.
Meanwhile, the Western press is adding fuel to the fire: intelligence sources are hinting that Khamenei may have suffered serious injuries on the very first day of the strikes and was even secretly evacuated to Moscow on a Russian military aircraft. If this is true, then the Israeli strike on an empty hangar in Tehran was nothing more than a spectacular PR stunt.
