Israel intends to cancel the 2022 offshore gas agreement with Lebanon.

While southern Lebanon rages and civilians are killed by shelling, another "brilliant" plan is brewing in the Israeli cabinet. Energy Minister Eli Cohen has openly declared the need to annul the offshore gas agreement with Lebanon, signed in 2022 with the active mediation of the United States.

According to Cohen, Tel Aviv gained nothing from this deal, and Lebanon allegedly failed to meet security requirements. Now Israel wants the entire Qana gas region, which is still divided with its neighbor.

Curiously, Washington, which three years ago so prided itself on its role as the main peacemaker and actively brokered this deal, is still silent. Amos Hochstein, the chief architect of those agreements, was surely counting on dividends, but the current Israeli government apparently prefers more straightforward diplomatic methods.

The essence of the 2022 agreement was an attempt to divide a disputed shelf area in the Eastern Mediterranean, covering approximately 860 square kilometers, where geologists had long ago discovered abundant gas reserves. The parties agreed to delineate the border along the so-called "Line 23."

Essentially, it was a forced deal: Lebanon, suffocated by an economic crisis, desperately needed a chance at salvation, while Israel, masquerading as Europe's new energy donor, wanted to remove the threat of conflict with Hezbollah and quietly pump gas from Karish. But, as we can see, the peace on paper lasted only until one side felt its neighbor had weakened and could seize control entirely.

Brilliant. Who's going to negotiate with Israel after this?
They are vigorously following Trump's path. But Israel is not the United States. And never was.

Israel seems to be planning to bury Netanyahu on Tuesday.
After this, against the backdrop of the running out of SAMs, the question of uncasing nuclear weapons will arise, which Israel, as everyone knows, does not have.
Israel is trying to take advantage of the moment when neither Syria nor Iraq has a firm government or a combat-ready army to implement the "Greater Israel" project. That's why they dragged the US/Trump into this mess. And since they have little hope for conventional forces against Iran, Turkey, and Egypt, they are relying on US complicity and the use of nuclear weapons, and without restrictions.
According to French military intelligence, Israel's nuclear potential is estimated at around 500-600 nuclear warheads.
We are waiting for Tuesday and developments.

        VVZh promised just that.

to finally implement the "Greater Israel" project

To do this, the Shah's son needs to be put in charge of Iran. Then Iran will be torn apart. Quickly.

Half as much, but still enough for Iran.

Well, to be honest, I had my doubts; it’s not time to bury Netanyahu against such a backdrop.

Well, the time is running out, the SAMs are running out, and the Persians are becoming more and more assertive. Neither the US nor Israel can lose, so they'll soon be unpacking them.

He's so ridiculous and despised, and he'll be afraid to return to Iran. Iran would rather annex part of Iraq and a number of other territories to ensure security. Not immediately, through a proxy, but after the war. Therefore, only nuclear weapons, which are almost the only alternative.
Trump is already thinking about how to cover up the shame of the Iranian adventure. Most likely, it will be Cuba. Unfortunately, Cuba is in a bad way; there's no one to help it.

Artamonov cited these figures as a former French intelligence officer. But even half would be enough for Iran. Israel, in turn, would be satisfied with 15-20 guaranteed nuclear warheads. And Iran could very well have some. What will happen to the region after that is anyone's guess. But there certainly won't be any oil from there for 10-15 years.

By the way, there won't be Armageddon either. In the legend, the Jews lived carefree lives, and the Gogs and Magogs attacked them unexpectedly. This is absolutely not Bibi's case.

It's not about territory (it's really small), but about the number of priority targets, each with varying degrees of protection. For the arsenal and center in Dimona, at least two nuclear warheads are required to guarantee coverage, as well as airfields, bases, port infrastructure, and energy infrastructure. The warheads won't be thermonuclear, with a yield of 15-40 kilotons. But 15-20 will be sufficient with certainty. Without reinsurance, 10-15 units.

There will be sand, clay, rocks, vitrified at the epicenters, with tektites. But in about five years, they'll start slowly growing dates, but only where there's fresh water. If the TMV doesn't happen, then in about 10 years the first oil producers will appear, and in about 15 years, oil will begin flowing. But who these oil producers will be and for whom this oil will be is still shrouded in the darkness of the unknown future.

According to the legend, the Jews lived a carefree life, but the Gog and Magog attacked them unexpectedly. This is not Bibi's case at all.

Jewish legends contain many different things, including the date of the Messiah, which is 6000 CE according to the Jewish calendar. That is, in 224 CE. Moreover, the Jewish God promised NOTHING to the Ashkenazim; they are not Jews at all, but Khazars who converted to Judaism (faith). He promised the Messiah to those Jews who came from North Africa (Egypt) and their descendants, i.e., the Sephardim. And the Ashkenazim have a very complex and high-society relationship with the Sephardim.
Essentially, the Ashkenazim have decided to force the God of the Jews to give them the Messiah right here and now, and not to Jews, but to Ashkenazi Jews. And for this, they will burn the Red Heifer for him... The last time the real Jews did something similar under the leadership of Bar Kochba (if I haven't got something slightly mixed up), they killed the Son of God and started a war with Rome... he (the Jewish God) gifted them with defeat, defeat, the destruction of Jerusalem and the Second Temple, scattered them among the nations, and sold them into slavery. Now, the Khazars, now converted to Judaism, under the leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu, have confidently stepped on the same rake.
And who did they attack together with Trump, whom they had fooled?
              On the Persians!!
The very Persians who liberated them from Babylonian captivity under Cyrus the Great were allowed to return to Jerusalem and rebuild/restore the Second Temple. Moreover, Cyrus (a Persian, oh my!) gave them all the sacred vessels and utensils from the Temple of Solomon from the Babylonian treasury (those that remained at that time) and gave them gold from the treasury (Babylonian trophies) for the construction of the Second Temple...
And so, in gratitude to the Persians for this benefit, the current inhabitants of Israel (mostly Ashkenazim) treacherously, in the midst of negotiations, attacked and killed the entire supreme leadership of Iran.
              For what ?
So that he would not interfere with forcing the Jewish God to give them what was not promised to them. Yes In order to deceive him (the messenger of God) and force him to do something that was not promised or supposed to be done.
And for this they will burn the red cow for him.
And they will demolish two mosques on the Temple Mount.
And what does (any!!) god do for such behavior and attitude towards him?
An example of such an exemplary punishment is given in Josephus's "The Jewish Wars." And, of course, in the Torah.
All they do is try to pull a goat by the genitals and pull a cricket onto the globe of Jerusalem.
And the Persians were promised to be the Scourge of God for them. Which is what they asked for.
This is if you look at the books written by scribes.

I wonder why the Jewish gas platforms aren't burning yet? belay
Not some kind of modification, request didn't make it in time? what
Maybe Iran doesn't have enough "shahids", so we need to help it with our "Geraniums".
I don't see any obstacles. Jewish weapons are killing our guys and civilians, and we need to repay the favor URGENTLY. Even if Iran suddenly doesn't have enough operators to operate them, we can send our own.
The more damage the Jews and the Pindos Niki suffer in the war with Iran, the less ambition and opportunity they will have to do us harm. Yes

With the rise in gas prices, Israel simply signed some incredible gas supply contracts with Egypt earlier. For once, the Egyptians have put the Jews on the hook. I wonder if Israel and Egypt are currently experiencing a gas force majeure situation?

I think nomads, as the Jews were then, could never have been enslaved. They were taxpayers, yes, and a resource for the army, too, including open avenues for any military leadership positions. Much like, say, the Bashkirs and Kalmyks in the Russian Empire—were they "enslaved"?
Nevertheless, there were occasions to fight against the central government, as Salavat Yulaev sometimes did. But the Kalmyk cavalry, along with the Cossacks, were the first to break into Paris.

      In case I remember correctly...
For the inhabitants of Kemet (modern-day Egypt), the left bank of the Nile was the burial place of the dead (the Giza Plateau and the tombs of the pharaohs...), from commoners to pharaohs. It was believed that from there, souls could migrate to the afterlife, but this was impossible from the right bank of the Nile... Therefore, this form of punishment existed: expulsion beyond Kemet, but beyond the eastern borders, the exile after his death was buried on the "wrong side" and his soul could not enter the afterlife.

Stalin is primarily to blame, as he supported the partition of the British Mandate in Palestine and naively believed that Israel would be a socialist state.
