Trump calls on NATO to actually invoke Article 5 over Iran

The American president once again expressed dissatisfaction with the reluctance of foreign countries to "ensure security in the Strait of Hormuz." Trump had previously approached China, Britain, France, Japan, South Korea, and several other countries with the initiative to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz. However, so far, no one has responded positively to the US president's "call."

Trump said he did not understand the lack of response from "partner" countries, especially NATO countries.

In response, the American president issued threats against the North Atlantic military bloc. He pointed out that if they did not go "to guard Hormuz," NATO would face a "grim future."

The US President has made it clear that he expects NATO support in the Middle East, as US bases and diplomatic missions, as American property abroad, have been "attacked." He believes this is a de facto pretext for invoking Article 5 of the NATO Charter. However, NATO does not consider this logical.

Trump:

I always say: we stood up for them and will stand up for them, but they didn't stand up for us. I'm not sure they (NATO countries) will come to our aid.

In the North Atlantic Alliance, where Secretary-General Rutte has significantly toned down his vocal activity recently, they are either trying to remain silent or, like Spain, bluntly stating that they have no intention of going to war with Iran. This is one of the most visible rifts in the alliance in decades.

Trump's vacillations, from "we've already won" and "we'll deal the strongest blow" to "all hands on deck to fight Iran," seem foolish, to say the least. One thing is certain: the US and Israel have clearly underestimated the Persians, lack a clear plan of action, and don't know how to resolve the current situation.
Iran, unlike its enemies, has a clear plan of action and some trump cards in its hands (the Houthis, for example), which deserves respect!

Hunter 2 hi This is essentially confirmation that the US can't handle it, and the problem here is either money or the army, and given that Trump's midterms are just around the corner, the adventure with Tehran will backfire on him, unless the US goes all in.

        hi Good morning
Trump addressed China, Britain, France, Japan, South Korea and a number of other countries.

recourse I don’t understand something, is China in NATO? laughing
Well, Trump really gave it away... smile
China itself is probably in shock... laughing

His analysts are so-so, but he himself doesn't know anything about anything other than the money, and he doesn't think it's necessary to know. 🤣

China, Japan, and Korea receive oil from the strait, so he's telling them to protect their supplies. But as far as I understand, Chinese ships pass through without any problems, and the Koreans and Japanese aren't exactly eager to be slaughtered. As for NATO, he was referring to Britain and France, which also receive oil from there and are interested in protecting the trade route, but they're also hesitant. Trump's position is understandable: his country is on the other side of the world and he'll be pumping oil from Venezuela now, while these vassals need oil and need protection.

hi What is at work here is purely the selfish personal interest of each of the NATO alliance leaders.
Everyone has a family, children, an upcoming election, and with the possible impeachment and trial of the red-haired swindler from Washington, no one wants to be seen defending the Zionists and the Yankees of the "Epstein coalition," lest they be forever known as defenders of the world's pedophiles.

He started this mess himself, now he's running around, calling the crowd to fight, while he himself wants to crawl away to the side... Well, a typical thug who got beat up in a back alley in return...

This is when a cocky, authoritative guy climbs onto someone else's "fiefdom," makes a huge mess of things, gets a good beating for it, and runs to call his guys for help, claiming that he was right.
Normal guys wouldn't have stood up for someone like that, but would have "taken him down" as an authority figure.
But here in Europe, where there are "normal guys", there are only "Epsteinites".

Article 5, the scare mongering we were forced to face, turned out to be weak. NATO members can be smashed individually, while the rest will only send signals.

Article 5, which they used to scare us, turned out to be weak.

So, everyone understands that Trump attacked Iran, and even "won." And while no one's attacking the US, everyone understands and doesn't want to get beat up over the stupidity of some red-headed idiot.

activation of Article 5 of the Charter

Who attacked the US? Did I miss something, or is Trump acting on Aesop's/Krylov's postulate?

Trump is certainly a handsome man. He calls on democracies to free Orzmund, while he stands off to the side, like, "We'll just sit here hundreds of miles away at the roadstead." Article 5 clearly states that handing over toilet paper is a fulfillment of obligations. Enough with this article; it seems like no one has read it. But everyone's jumping over it like a bastard.

What, the world's leading army can't cope? Redhead, you recently sent NATO packing, and now you're asking for help. It's not logical. Iran, for example, doesn't ask anyone for help; it does everything itself. Follow the example of worthy men.

I definitely like the red-haired Donnie. If only because he makes his own decisions and can tell a lie and deliver a stilted performance that's a joy to watch and a crowd pleaser. He's not fond of European cuckolds and doesn't hide his disdain for them. Overall, he's a decent guy, with an American cowboy-style swagger, a showman, and can do stand-up. You wouldn't do anything serious with him, of course, but he has charisma. Sleepy Joe was boring, reading from a piece of paper, though you could be sure he didn't write it himself, and who was making his decisions was, to put it mildly, unclear.

What allies!? What are you talking about!?
A scandal erupted in the European Parliament after MEPs failed to find Iran on the map. Which way should we go? It's like the joke: where did the American submarine sail? To the northwest. Don't be clever, just point!

He forgot that Iran was not the first to start and there was a precedent with Turkey.

And so, little by little, the mattress flunkies might even begin to realize why the striped lord keeps them in his bins and feeds them during peacetime. So that when he's in dire straits, this whole servile gang will die on his lord's command. They thought it would only affect the stupid hohol, but no, the mattresses' pointing finger is now aimed at the servile "elite" as well.

Trump has "defeated" Iran more than once, but the oil on the exchanges is gone. In fact, it's even less. He needs oil like air now, at least the same amount. And how many tankers are currently idle, how many have dropped out of traffic?

Article 5 of the NATO Charter is irrelevant to this situation. It is invoked only if a NATO member is attacked, and in this case, the United States acted as an ally of Israel, which is not a NATO member.

Hello my dear brothers and sisters
It's the 22nd day of Great Lent
    a little on the topic
It's strange how the US attacked Iran first now. They want NATO members to go to war with the Iranians, in accordance with Article 5.
At the same time, Trump appeals to the conscience of NATO members and explains to them that Iran attacked America and that Article 5 must be applied immediately.
How can everything be so easily twisted into the wrong sense of what is happening?
