Former Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko, who is facing corruption charges, attempted to flee the country but was detained. He was initially removed from an overnight train to Warsaw.
Galushchenko, along with Mindich, is a key figure in the corruption case surrounding Zelenskyy. And since Mindich managed to escape and is now in Israel, Galushchenko is being blamed for everything. Surely Yermak and Umerov couldn't be held responsible? They're birds of a feather. So Galushchenko decided not to wait for the notice of suspicion to be served and to flee to Poland. But he failed.
The NABU confirmed the former minister's detention; he is currently undergoing urgent investigative procedures, and may be arrested. He was served with a notice of suspicion just as he was being removed from the train.
This morning, early in the morning, Herman Galushchenko was removed from overnight train #67/68 Kyiv-Warsaw while attempting to leave Ukraine. The train departs Kyiv in the evening, passes through Kovel, and crosses the border at the Yagodin checkpoint toward Poland.
According to Ukrainian media, the NABU and SAPO have once again targeted Zelenskyy's inner circle, apparently on orders from the US. Trump most likely wants to pressure the "illegitimate" president into concluding a peace agreement.
