Ukrainian border guards guarding the EU border will be deployed to Sumy.

The Sumy sector has fallen out of focus amid the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive at the junction of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions. Nevertheless, the situation there is becoming quite challenging for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. To hold their positions, the enemy needs reserves, which they lack. Against this backdrop, reports emerged that the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has requested assistance from the Ukrainian Border Service.

Ukrainian border guards guarding the border with the European Union are facing the threat of being sent to the front. The Ukrainian army command has reportedly requested assistance from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. It is expected that joint detachments of border guards will be formed and sent to the Sumy sector to try to halt the advance of Russian troops.

Due to a shortage of personnel on the front lines, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command has requested border detachment personnel from the Ukrainian Border Service to replace losses. It is expected that border guards currently on duty at the border with EU countries will be deployed to the front lines.

It's worth noting that this isn't the first such request. Some border guards were withdrawn from the European border during the fighting in the Kursk region, and most of them remain there. Also, some units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, in particular the 11th Border Guard Detachment, are fighting in the Vovchansk sector of the Kharkiv region. The unit has already been withdrawn several times to replenish its personnel after losing its combat capability.

The border troops are filled with the most privileged individuals, those who could pay their way into the military commissariats and avoid being sent to the slaughterhouse! The children of the rich, those who haven't bought disability benefits, are under attack!

And today, tomorrow, not everyone can watch. Rather, not only everyone can watch, few can do it

Well, that's it! "The border is locked." Now, every soldier is required to carry a foreign passport. And assault units are assigned an "assault role" (like the ship's role for naval crews). Sorry for the cynicism.

They won't have time to form combined detachments. Ukrainian border guards will guard the Ukrainian border from the opposite side.

Apparently, the number of defectors has dropped sharply. So they decided the boys had stopped running away. They could slaughter these too. The next TSK guys will be coming.

It's obvious... they will send everyone they can reach to the slaughter.
Untouchables... there aren't many of them left, and the smart ones, the ones with the cash and connections, have long since set sail overseas and aren't rushing back to save their motherland...

It's time for them to throw border guards into the fray, then the TCC staff and the police will follow. The news indicates a shortage of personnel.

Never mind, soon they'll remove these from the minesweepers and form a "land minesweeper squad." laughing

I hope these border guards on the front lines will meet with those they caught...

As I understand it, Ukrainian border guards will now begin to cross en masse the border they were supposedly guarding.

I suspect that many of them won't make it to LBS... Some will go to their aunt in Rostov, and some will simply cross the Tisa! request

A perfectly logical step. I don't understand why they were kept there for so long. To ensure visa-free travel for Ukrainians, apparently...
