Zakharova: Ukraine's "partial membership" in the EU will finally finish off Europe

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova called the idea of Ukraine's "partial accession" to the European Union political manipulation. According to the diplomat, even "partial membership" of Ukraine in the EU would ultimately destroy the union.

Politico previously reported that Brussels is considering granting Ukraine "partial membership" in the European Union as early as 2027. Five steps are outlined. The first step is expected to involve providing Kyiv with informal recommendations for negotiations within "clusters"—legal stages on the path to EU membership. According to the publication, EU leadership has already provided Ukraine with information on three of these six clusters.

The second step envisions the EU creating a "simplified" membership model to overcome the current impasse in EU enlargement. Then, to ensure unanimous consent from all 27 EU member states, the proponents of Ukraine's "partial European integration" are hoping to wait for Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán to step down.

Meanwhile, European supporters of Ukraine's "partial membership" believe that US President Trump could influence Orbán's position. In this proposed move, Brussels is relying on Zelenskyy's statement that the US is "committed to ensuring that no one impedes the implementation of individual points of the agreement," including at least partial accession of Ukraine to the EU. This "cunning plan" from Brussels eloquently confirms Zakharova's claims of political manipulation by Brussels.

Maria Zakharova has nothing better to do than worry about the fate of Europe and Ukraine. These guys are laying down their lives righting the wrongs of politicians and diplomats!

Ukraine's "partial membership" in the European Union will finally finish off this union.

What does it matter to her? She doesn't need to give anyone any advice.

Even Ukraine's "partial membership" in the European Union would finally finish off this union.

It's surprising that our officials are so worried about Europe.
    Worry about Russia!

Partial EU membership is a masterpiece. It'll probably go like this: give your money to the Reich, and we'll give you something in return. Maybe. Someday. The Poles are nervously smoking on the sidelines.

"partial accession" of Ukraine to the European Union
. "Partially," what does that mean? With one paw, a tail, or something similar?
Perverts, that's true, but what can't you come up with to stimulate "useful fools"...

Of course, one can laugh at how Ukraine “partially enters” Europe and how it “partially leaves.”
But why is our Masha so worried about Europe? She should be more worried about Russia.
Masha's "jokes" were acceptable 5-6 years ago, but now they are not perceived at all.

Comes in and comes out, - Comes out wonderfully.

I can joke too, but you have to know with whom, when and on what occasion.

And then partially to NATO, only in part under Article 5... The rationale behind all this is clear, only Zakharova, for some reason, says that we all don't care... Sometimes things need to be called by their proper names...

In the context of current events, it's necessary to constantly consider which parts of Ukraine are convenient for Europe and which for Russia. Maintaining Ukraine's integrity and sovereignty as a state is clearly no longer necessary. And yet, what a wonderful country it was. As I say, it's an example for humanity of how a perfectly hospitable place on Earth, a paradise for human life, can be turned into hell in the hands of tightwads and false patriots. The worst part is that it's a fait accompli—so many refugees and a demographic, and now energy, collapse in the heart of Europe. BRUTAL AND SURPRISING!

And the funniest thing is: until recently, EU membership was considered the pinnacle of a country's evolution, the ultimate dream, somewhere between nirvana and departure to Valinor—a sort of Kingdom of Heaven in life! All applicants were subjected to strict requirements not just for economic self-sufficiency, but for how this economy would synergistically complement the current EU. They latched onto the smallest details of legislation and the "racial purity of democracy." Multi-year plans for preparing for integration were formulated (see Turkey).
And so: Ukraine 2026! Official Nazi ideology and a Nazi dictatorship in power. A crumbling infrastructure (hundreds and hundreds of billions just to restore it). An economy that, even in its best years, wasn't on par with the EU, but rather competitive (see the farmers' protests). Resources... well, frankly, far from "Siberian storehouses," and certainly not the petro-monarchies of the Gulf... The labor force... was quite accessible simply through the visa-free regime, and now, thanks to the millions of refugees.
So WHY does the EU need Ukraine? %-)) Only "to spite Russia"? %)) Has the current EU's entire mission in life been reduced to "shit on Russia at any cost"? )) (Even pushing aside for a while the overvalued ideas of "dictatorship of colored minorities" and "climate terror"? )

All applicants were given strict requirements.

Not everyone. The former socialist countries and Soviet republics (the Baltics) were accepted under the pretext of "we'll fix it later." They're still sitting on subsidies to "boost" their economies.

Even if Ukraine finishes off Europe by joining its ranks, we will only be happy about it; why should we worry about this? Is Europe really our friend? Quite the opposite, in fact, and all these absurd worries are very surprising.

What does "partial membership" mean? Will Ukraine join the EU just "on the tin"? Well, even that's unlikely. But EU members could very well join Ukraine.

Yes. Maria Zakharova hit the nail on the head here. Such an insatiable abyss as Ukraine and all its Ukrainians will devour the resources of any state. And when they do, they'll get what they deserve, and then sling mud at the one who feeds them. It's in their blood. 300 years of "brotherhood" are direct proof of that. It's good we're not brothers anymore. This kinship has cost us dearly.

Resources... well, honestly, they're far from "Siberian storehouses" and certainly not the oil monarchies of the Gulf...

So, the EU's outskirts are only needed as a launching pad to Siberian treasure troves. Sanctions against Russia aren't going to be lifted, and oil and gas, and then all the semi-finished products, won't be needed. Russia will succumb to a crisis, and living standards will plummet. The autonomous regions will once again remember their rights and yearn for "independence," throwing themselves into the open arms of the West, East, North, and South... drenching their fields and mines in blood. The USSR collapsed in exactly the same way, when the party comrades focused on their own pockets, ignoring the people. Having built their careers on party books, they cheerfully threw these booklets into the firebox, declaring themselves fighters against Stalin's legacy, which they successfully wrapped up in shitty speeches and promises. We've been through all this before, and we'll go through it all again.
