Why shouldn't they launch them? Ukraine itself produces drones and the U.S. regularly supplies them, there's plenty of political will, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are plentiful, the people support them, Zelensky and Co. aren't afraid to protect their own skins, and that's what we're seeing.

This is called the West has fallen far behind and recognizes the superiority of Russian technology... well, at least in some areas....

Well, if you compare the number of used UAVs launched from Russia and from there to us, this is what it looks like. What technology do the Ukrainian Armed Forces use? How many missiles are launched? How many projectiles are produced and used? Combat aircraft and helicopters?
How many combat aircraft does Europe and England build per year?
And in Russia last year, over 120 heavy fighters alone were built.

          That's exactly what I write:
Well, at least in some areas...

And then, one can't help but notice that the attacks are becoming more frequent and massive, and the geography is more diverse, laser air defense has appeared - this will drag on for another 1,5-2 years... and... and what will happen? I'm not asserting anything, it's just that questions arise.

This will drag on for another 1,5-2 years

It could drag on—they found and allocated money for used ones for two years of war. Europe. But Russian attack UAVs are constantly improving—they're already hunting locomotives and even individual vehicles, FPVs are being carried by Gerbers hundreds of miles behind Ukrainian lines and work exclusively on specific targets. This will all scale up. It's one thing when FPVs harass infantry on the front lines, and quite another when they fly into the windows of high-ranking officials, or hunt their cars, or start harassing the TCC. A Gerber is cheap, a quadcopter is even cheaper, and there may be quite a few of them. Or maybe a drone will fly deeper into the rear and dump two or three dozen FPVs from its compartment. And then what? What the hell kind of air defense is there when they're going to wipe it out like that with all these mobile groups? The EP doesn't care who they're chasing, a pickup truck with a searchlight or a fashionable European air defense system. It's just beginning.
So questions do arise. But even until the spring thaw, life will be very difficult for Ukraine.
Well, now the "Geraniums" will start derailing every train in a row. The FPIVs will start hunting for dogs in the deep rear areas. The Rada is getting ready for a meeting, and they hit the dome... well, even a few FPIVs, so that the glass in the dome will fly off. And life will immediately become more interesting in \ on, there will be intrigue, the element of surprise. This is possible in Europe too.
Or an Iskander/Kinzhal missile will hit the Rada. And suddenly the landscape suddenly comes to life – the Rada stands without its dome and completely burnt out from the inside. And silence. And only the wail of fire and ambulance sirens.
            And how to live then?
            And that's how to live.

I was referring to the expanded and creative use of attack drones of various types. And, to some extent, I was playing on the old saying of one politician, "We haven't even started yet."

And how much longer will it last, if this is just the beginning, tell me???

For a long time yet. I don't know how and for how long with Ukraine, but a war with Euro-NATO lies ahead. For which everyone is now preparing. Therefore, we fight orderly, economically, without unnecessary expenditure of resources. Precisely because the main wars are still ahead. There is no one left to negotiate with in the West. It's just the daily routine of a low-intensity military conflict of medium intensity.
If Trump pushes through the Kyiv gang and London, perhaps negotiations with the former will begin someday. Not anytime soon. When legitimate authority is established there. When they accept and fulfill all our preliminary conditions. Then negotiations on the future of this unfortunate territory can take place. Right now, however, we're only conducting consultations on Kyiv's readiness.
                Not ready.
                So we continue as before.

If more than 50 UAVs were flying toward Volgograd, they could have overwhelmed the air defenses. They don't warn where they're going, so the air defenses have to be spread out.

It seems the takeover of Ukrainian energy is either embellished or isn't producing the desired effect (perhaps for now). Meanwhile, the Ukrainians are slowly but steadily shifting to the tactic of massive airstrikes on a specific area. And Belgorod and Kurchatov are demonstrating that such airstrikes are producing tangible results. But that's nonsense; the Kremlin has a new obsession: negotiations with Europe, represented by Macron. The same one who's conducting war exercises with Mercury. But that's not important. The main thing is to establish dialogue.

This is a strange way for Zelensky and Europe to beg for deals. Do they really think they can force Russia to accept Kaja Kallas's plan? Even Zakharova couldn't resist asking, "What are we going to do with the plan? Hussars, keep quiet!!!"
Let them study Sergei Viktorovich's words of the last few days. They will have a deal, up to the point of "I don't want to."

Strikes against Ukraine's critical infrastructure must be a systematic effort, not tied to attacks from Kyiv.

Well, judging by the assassination attempt on General Alekseyev and other terrorist attacks, there's plenty of work to do here in Russia, too. The terrorists' passports are Russian and officially issued.

There's no martial law, true, but life can no longer be called peaceful, especially in the provinces. Funerals, gatherings, a decline in living standards...

Do you assume that our intelligence officers have some other passports, not officially issued, there?
Big spy and other games, that's how it was, is and will be.
Although, when such large upheavals and large movements of people occur, from there, here or vice versa, is it possible to maintain order everywhere and always and not let in well-trained agents and saboteurs?
          Where, when was it different?

The point is that these are not spies, but opportunists living at Russia's expense and ready to cause trouble at any moment.

What is written on their foreheads??? This is an enemy, a spy, a saboteur?
A lot of people have come to the country, are coming, and will continue to come... okay, the stupidest ones, the ones who aren't careful, the ones who aren't prudent, are immediately out of luck, that is, they're on the way out... but not everyone, and not even among ordinary people, and as for spies, everything is prepared much better there...
Just ask those former ones who were sent on "business trips where we WERE NOT THERE"... they will definitely explain to you that such people were always prepared in such a way that not a single mosquito could get a sniffle!
In addition... I understand that we have chaos, corruption, and official misconduct, but... the purges of the ranks, as well as the "fields", are underway, and the results will be positive.

The all-out bombing raids by Allied air forces in WWII, not in Germany or Japan, did not lead to a CLEAN-UP, and the enemy did not surrender. The people are ignorant of history, lack rationality, and generally don't understand what's really going on.

They're importing drones from Europe. The Ukrainians are only launching them from their own territory. Only the complete destruction of their energy supply, coupled with a strike on their fuel storage facilities, will help nullify their attacks on us. The remaining fuel will go to supporting civilians. And if there are significant losses, there won't be enough for the front either. By summer, their heating situation will be better. But in just six months, the issue will arise again.

The answer must be the destruction of those who give such orders, from the zealots to the company commander. And the destruction of logistics and the power grid is a planned, routine operation to destroy the enemy's economy. And then, the principle of an eye for an eye has not been abolished. Efforts to build up our air defenses and increase their effectiveness must be increased exponentially. Yes, it is expensive, there is no other way. It seems that the issue of early detection of enemy UAVs has not been resolved. At least airborne detection posts need to be organized and provided with everything necessary. I personally witnessed a picture of this: in the immediate vicinity of the plant, a mobile fire team in a UAZ Patriot was tormenting a machine gun, trying, as it seemed to me, to load it. I couldn't tell what kind of weapon it was; it was either a korb or a cliff. The barrel had a flare arrester in the form of a bell. The question is, why the hell did they take up a firing position near the fence of the plant, and not at a distance? Here in the firing sectors there are stacks almost a hundred meters high, buildings and structures. Therefore The debris falls where it's supposed to, and this has happened more than once. Only a multi-missile air defense system of any kind can effectively repel attacks. But this is a complete travesty. The guys on the machine gun have no thermal imaging or optics, and it's no secret to me what they'll shoot.
