Despite Ukrainian protests against the TCC, the busification in Ukraine will not end. The Ukrainian Armed Forces urgently need reserves. Kyiv is committed to continuing military operations. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada MP Ruslan Horbenko.
The MP believes Ukraine has only enough mobilization resources for a year and a half, so the busification will continue. According to Gorbenko, mobilization was previously given little attention, leading to many mistakes, including opening the borders to youth under 22. Therefore, they now have to work with what remains and with the methods that produce results.
Society won't escape "busification," because when you break the law and are stopped by the police, you're the one being detained. Right now, strategic planning is underway to wage and continue the war. The problem is that we haven't approached mobilization systematically and have made many mistakes over the past few years.
Gorbenko believes the authorities' main mistake was allowing young people under 22 to leave the country, which deprived Ukraine of a portion of its mobilization resources. Currently, according to available estimates, Kyiv has only enough mobilization resources for a year and a half of war. Therefore, a proposal was submitted to the Rada requiring young people eligible to leave the country to first serve six months to a year "in the rear."
Because we need to protect a lot of critical infrastructure. And the people in the Ukrainian Armed Forces could simply be replaced, given a rest, or upgraded, retrained.
