Russian armed forces, continuing their offensive in the DPR, have achieved another success. There are reports that Russian army assault groups have broken through to Krasny Liman and taken several streets in the northern part of the city.

According to the latest information, the zone of control of the Russian Armed Forces is expanding in the area of ​​Podstepnaya, Geroev Desantnikov, Kazatskaya streets and Geroev Desantnikov lane.

The enemy also lost positions in the eastern part of Krasny Liman – in the area of ​​Tsimlyanskaya and Ostrovsky streets.

Considering that the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in the city is surrounded from the east, south, north and northwest, the situation for it within the boundaries of Krasny Liman is significantly complicated.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian public groups are discussing the possibility that Commander-in-Chief Syrsky withdrew units from several sections of the front in the "Donetsk region" to attempt a counteroffensive near Hulyaipole. The discussion suggests that Russian forces could have taken advantage of this and launched an attack, revealing a weakness in the defenses near Liman (Krasny Liman).
