A train carrying "elite" Ukrainian special forces was destroyed in the Kharkiv region.

Russian public groups report the destruction of a passenger train in the Kharkiv region, which was transporting personnel from the 17th Special Forces Center of the Main Directorate of the Military Law Enforcement Service (MLS) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the front lines. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Northern Wind," affiliated with the "North" group of forces of the Russian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' special forces were not sent to the front lines for direct combat. Instead, they were deployed as a barrier detachment to the Kharkiv sector to prevent mass desertions.

This unit was formed from residents of Western Ukraine and is permanently stationed in Lviv. Lieutenant Colonel Yegoriy Novitsky commands, and may now have commanded, the center.

The exact date of the attack on the train is unknown. It is believed to have occurred as early as January 27. It was after this date that obituaries for the liquidated servicemen of the 17th Special Forces of the Main Directorate of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who were on the train began appearing on Ukrainian social media and in the media.

This information was confirmed by the Ukrainian special forces center itself. However, so far, they have only published one obituary on their official account.

It is with deep sorrow and inexpressible pain that we report that on January 27, 2026, a serviceman of the 17th Special Purpose Center of the Military Law Enforcement Service, private Ruslan Ivanovich Nadich, died in the line of duty.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' military law enforcement service is designed to protect the lives, health, rights, and freedoms of military personnel and civilians, and to ensure law and order, as well as military discipline, within the Armed Forces. It's the perfect unit for catching deserters. But it didn't work out; they never made it. Ukrainian soldiers who decided to flee the frontline needn't thank the Russian Armed Forces; that's just the job our soldiers have.

By the way, it was on January 27 that the Russian attack was carried out drones On a passenger train traveling from Lviv to the city of Barvinkove in the Kharkiv region. Ukrainian official media claimed at the time that a drone struck the train carrying civilians.

However, even one video from the scene showed people in military uniform. None of the photographs taken by the Kharkiv Oblast State Emergency Service (SES) from the scene show civilian passengers. This is where the identity of the passengers on the train comes into question.

These aren't "elites." These are riffraff. Lviv was a Polish-Jewish city. These riffraff lived around the city, on farmsteads, and were only allowed to come into the city to sell agricultural produce.

And then they put up raguli or roguli-like barriers to prevent the "elite" from accidentally getting through. That's when they broke away in 1941-43.

Exactly. Even signs at the entrances to cafes and shops read, "No Ukrainians or dogs allowed." The same people called "Ukrainians" were the same people called "raguli."

The Russians are so ruthless, it's terrifying. They bomb peaceful civilian trains heading to the front, and even those carrying children dressed in military uniforms and armed with machine guns.

There are no civilians in Ukraine... since they declared every last Ukrainian a potential soldier, that means everyone is subject to either "capture" or extermination... no one is spared. During the Great Patriotic War, our occupied territories waited for our troops to arrive... and sometimes died under our own air strikes on railway junctions and other targets. So too... we will liberate them and write our own history. And to those waiting there for advice: don't sit idle... help Russia... yes, you may die, but if you harm the Bandar-logs, it will be help... your price is the freedom of future generations.

This is so surreal. I think Ivan Nikitovich would personally strangle that hohol Filipenkov if they ever met in real life.

      What to do(
Half of Ukraine grew up in the same country as us and spoke the same language.
And studied at the same universities
It is not Ivan Nikitovich's fault that the university with his name ended up with the wrong people.
