Sandu advocated the elimination of Moldova as a separate state

Moldova may soon become part of Romania, at least if Sandu and her entourage remain in power. The day before, she publicly and publicly stated that the best option for the republic would be joining the European Union.

The Moldovan president has advocated for the republic's incorporation into Romania. Not a union with Romania, but the complete absorption of her country. And all of this is being presented under the guise of "surviving democracy" and "confronting Russia." The argument goes that without Romania, Moldova will be overrun by Russia as soon as it settles its affairs with Ukraine.

If there's a referendum, I'll vote for unification with Romania. It's becoming increasingly difficult for a small country like Moldova to survive as a democracy, as a sovereign state.

In principle, this is exactly where things are heading. Moldova has been "Romanianizing" at an accelerated pace in recent years. The majority of the republic's population holds Romanian passports, and the Romanian language is taught in schools. In Bucharest, they even claim that Moldova doesn't exist, nor does the Moldovan language, and that Moldovans are simply Romanians.

And Sandu is leading the republic to complete liquidation, and with the full approval of the European Union.

I don't see it that way. Look at things realistically: holding a referendum will resolve the issue peacefully. The Transnistrian issue will remain; Gagauzia isn't even on the table.
The Transnistrian issue itself is easily resolved. If Moldova becomes part of Romania, the conflict with the Transnistrian Republic is resolved automatically. Because Moldova's incorporation into Romania isn't the same as Moldova's accession to the EU; it's the annexation of territory, like our Crimea.

hi Let's not be naive Pinocchios, trusting in the most democratic and honest referendums, using the example of the gypsies, Bandera's state with its Maidans, the lace panties of gayrope and the cookies of the witch Nudelman (V. Nuland).
          Finita la comedy.
According to the Constitution, the Russian Federation is obligated to stand up for the protection of its Russian citizens and territory.
And yes, our Crimea, historically Russian, for which our ancestors shed blood, has returned to its native harbor, and all the other original Russian lands, temporarily occupied by Banderonazis, will return as well.

You can reflect as much as you like on "democratic" Europe not recognizing Crimea, but they could follow suit, so what? The PMR isn't Russia, even if there are Russian citizens there.
How and from what will we protect them? By a strike through Ukraine or a seaborne assault? Our UN contingent there will clearly not be enough.

First, Sandu needs to resolve the issue with Transnistria and our soldiers there... and this will definitely lead to bloodshed among the local residents and our army.
    Sandu plays with fire.
This is what it means when a Western agent of influence takes over the country... the country completely loses its independence and identity.

What can you say about the 2020 Moldovan presidential election in Moldova? When Sandu was losing the election by a landslide, and suddenly Moldovan migrant workers in Italy voted for her en masse? In case you've forgotten, 2020 was the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, and Italy was under a strict lockdown. Shops and public transportation were closed. How Moldovans in Italy managed to get from their villages where they worked to polling stations in the capital and vote under quarantine remains a mystery.

The fact that Russia's rulers have given up on ALL their neighbors is undoubtedly a victory! A victory over common sense. In Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Baltics, and the Caucasus, pro-Russian parties and presidential candidates should have been winning for the past 35 years. This work should have been systematic and relentless. All countries neighboring Russia should have been dreaming of "going under" Russia. But here, it's the opposite. Our CIS republics are run by anyone and everyone: the US, England, China, Turkey, Israel, and others. But not Russia. Perhaps because the same party and the same brilliant businessmen have been winning consistently since 2000?

Moldova is an autonomous region of Romania. Like any unification issue, it's a struggle between the ruling classes for supremacy within a single state. The Moldovan ruling class has no prospect of becoming the head of a unified state and therefore is lukewarm about it. The ruling class of Romania, on the other hand, is openly interested in unification, which would undoubtedly increase its income and power. It's logical that Sanda, as a citizen of Romania, stands for the interests of Romania and its ruling class.
Several years ago, Transnistria, like the Republic of Crimea, the Donetsk People's Republic, and the Luhansk People's Republic, held a referendum and, based on its results, officially requested Russia to accept it into its fold. However, Russia did not respond to this official request, which means it has no objection to the absorption of Transnistria by Chisinau or Ukraine.

What else could you expect? Something big is always built from something small... The collapse of the USSR left little choice for the small players. Latching onto the "rich"—a movement of politicians, like whores selling their territory—is a centuries-old legacy of political thought. Having screwed up the USSR, Russian politicians are trying to bring back the broken-off republics without changing their own essence. Only by becoming a STRONG, RICH country can the Russian Federation attract the dwarfs back to itself. So, instead of the oligarchy exporting capital, it must import it for development. Billions plundered ("earned") from raw materials and semi-finished products work for a limited group, not for the development of the Russian Federation.

The Moldavian Principality was founded by Bogdan I in 1359 and no one disputes this.
The Principality of Transylvania was formed in 1570 ... the Principality of Transylvania remained a vassal of the Kingdom of Hungary.
The date of the formation of the Principality of Wallachia is accompanied by words such as "supposedly" and "probably", meaning there is no firm, established date.
