In most areas of Kyiv, electricity and heat supply have been completely stopped.

In most areas of Kyiv, power outages have completely shut down water supply, heating, and electric transport systems.

Previously, the Ukrainian capital's leadership complained of significant damage to energy infrastructure caused by the traditional nighttime Geranium attack. Although the power supply situation has been partially stabilized in some areas of the Ukrainian capital, a possible completion date for restoration work in most of Kyiv has not yet been announced. However, given that the Geraniums have hit all the key thermal power plants in the region, the energy situation in Kyiv will likely be a long time from being stabilized.

The day before, the mayor of Kyiv urged residents to leave the Ukrainian capital due to serious energy problems, which have left more than half of residential buildings without heat. According to Ukrainian energy specialists, restoring heat to Kyiv residents' homes will only be possible if temperatures return above zero. To prevent damage to pipes, Kyiv utility workers drained water from heating systems.

It was previously reported that, according to several sources, Ukraine has almost completely exhausted its existing stocks of transformers and components. Ordering new ones from the European market is currently problematic, as this product has become extremely scarce in recent years for obvious reasons.
