Kyiv is holding an emergency UN Security Council meeting in connection with the Oreshnik strike.

Ukraine is urgently calling an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council; Kyiv wants to complain about Russia using missile The Oreshnik medium-range missile system was deployed in the Lviv region. This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Director General Sybiga.

According to Sybiga's statement, Kyiv will press the point that Russia struck Oreshnik near the border of the European Union and NATO, which is extremely dangerous. They will also complain to Trump, all European "partners," and other international organizations, demanding that Russia be "punished," preferably by imposing new sanctions. Kyiv still hopes that the West will "crush" Russia, forcing it to admit defeat.

Such a strike near the EU-NATO border poses a serious threat to European security and is a test of the transatlantic community. We demand decisive action in response to Russia's reckless actions. We initiate international action—an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council, a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, as well as countermeasures within the EU, the Council of Europe, and the OSCE.

Kyiv also continues to deny the attack on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region, which was the response to the Oreshnik attack.

Meanwhile, Zelensky, who spent half the night in his bunker calling all his European sponsors, has been suspiciously silent this morning. Apparently, he's preparing a new speech accusing Russia.

Well, we need to break it in, somewhere far from the EU borders. Along Bankova Street, for example. And not with blanks, but with a decent charge.

There's a carving like this in the Hermitage, carved on some kind of fine wood. Several different people. It's like how gay Europeans in the Middle Ages tortured criminals in full view. And for those who didn't see it, they made this carving.

Petrarch's savage Middle Ages gave way to a magnificent Renaissance—most of the Hundred Years' War had passed during that time, along with Charles V's sack of Rome, the Hussite Wars, persistent plague and smallpox epidemics, and even syphilis. And then came the Modern Age—the Swedish Flood, religious wars, an even colder climate, witch hunts—in short, a brilliant era that ended with the French Revolution. And you simply don't understand high art! fellow

Good afternoon, Victor! hi I heard on a podcast in the newspaper ZAVTRA (regarding the holy place) that in the Middle Ages, when humanism and piety were generally not prominent, the German Emperor himself was declared the Antichrist, a dragon, and the most sinful of mankind, for daring to storm Jerusalem without the Pope's blessing, and what's more, for negotiating with the Saracens (enemies of the Church, as they called it back then)! These were their own Catholics, and they even dared to attack the Emperor. So much for Victor, and Gayropa, and the attitude toward the Holy Land, and their outlaws.

That's all well and good, yes, but it's more of a one-off, demonstrative action. It doesn't change the most important thing we lack: air superiority, the destruction of all air defense systems, and the knocking out of new ones as soon as they appear. Only then will aviation be able to fly freely over all of Ukraine and bomb as many targets as necessary.

This is a remarkably naive, kindergarten-level argument, completely devoid of any understanding of the real situation. Are you unaware of the scope of NATO's military aid? Can you even imagine how this could be practically accomplished—gaining air superiority by destroying all air defense systems? Do you know exactly how many of these different types of air defense systems (including man-portable) there are and where they are deployed? There's a way forward: further developing unmanned aircraft, upgrading Geraniums to fully-fledged unmanned aircraft, and ramping up their production to the level required in wartime, on assembly lines at just two or three assembly plants. We want them to have full online control, remote, individual, and capable of covering all of Ukraine, while simultaneously increasing their numbers, and then making them reusable and recoverable. And let's have 100 of them converge on every detected air defense system, approaching from different directions at different altitudes, attacking with precision missiles, then finishing them off with bombs, operating from altitudes inaccessible to MANPADS. Their losses are offset by mass production on an assembly line. Is our military-industrial complex no longer capable of this? What happened? And if a real major war breaks out, our military-industrial complex must be capable of far surpassing the described scenario, and in all types of military equipment, not just unmanned aircraft.

Kyiv is holding an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in response to the Oreshnik strike. Such a strike near the EU-NATO border poses a serious threat to European security and is a test for the transatlantic community.

From all the blah-blah-blah I realized: we're scared! Let's be scared together! wassat

On a neighboring thread, some users reported damage to only 3 gas subscribers... That's precisely why the UN Security Council is meeting... A joke, and nothing more. belay

Such a strike near the EU-NATO border poses a serious threat to the security of the European continent and is a test for the transatlantic community.
We need to repeat this immediately, preferably as close to these very borders as possible, and abandon the discussion, cutting off complaints and claims for material damage to the Russian Foreign Ministry, as fear of material damage does not constitute material damage. And add that this can and will be used against targets posing a threat to the Russian Federation, wherever those targets are located. Do not answer clarifying questions.

Well, not for the residence, but for the Belgorod region. It's just a shame: supposedly they're answering for the residence, but what about the innocent civilians killed, the elderly, the young, and children, for the electricity, heat, and gas in the Belgorod region, for the hellish life in Russia's new territories, for the old border territories, for the blown-up buses and ambulances, the murders of people and children in cafes on New Year's Eve, for the civilian deaths in Tatarstan, Voronezh, Cheboksary, Rostov, and so on and so forth?

Ukraine is urgently convening an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. Kyiv wants to complain about Russia's use of the Oreshnik medium-range missile system in the Lviv region.
It's not about Oreshnik, but about the Polish territory through which it landed. When it landed in Dnepropetrovsk, it was quieter.

Is there nothing else to do at the UN?
There is a war going on, missiles and drones are hitting every day, and whether it's a hazelnut or a cheburechnik doesn't matter, it's a war!
    What are you complaining about?
We are fighting, they hit us with a missile, this is some kind of surrealism!

As follows from Sybiga's statement, Kyiv will press the fact that Russia struck Oreshnik near the border of the European Union and NATO, and this is very dangerous.

    What's wrong with Oreshnik?
It's perfectly normal for the entire Garden to supply lethal weapons to 404. And it's perfectly normal to kill civilians with them, too. But we don't like Oreshnik.

And in the Polish patrimony where it flew in. When it flew into Dnepropetrovsk, it was quieter.

That's normal.))) Let them get used to it. They write on their phones, discuss it on TV shows.

So the strike was quite effective, since they're rushing to complain. I hope we learn the outcome of this strike soon.

It's become a pattern: as soon as Banderites in Ukraine get hit in the face harder than usual, they immediately run to their superiors and complain. This blow from Oreshnik was no exception.

So the attack was near the border and not beyond the border, what's there to shout about?
