Scientific fantasies on defense

On the "scientific companies", wig and rocket trains

Unexpected “media activity” was shown by the heads of the Ministry of Defense and top managers of the domestic industry. In recent days, they have reported a lot of interesting things, and now it is clear that our Armed Forces have a bright future. But is everything really so good?
Deputy Defense Minister Oleg Ostapenko was pleased with future intellectual recruits, and especially their parents. He said that the first "scientific company", formed from young people who are prone to research work, will appear during the autumn draft. These units will create at military schools.

The first, according to the deputy minister, will be formed at the Peter the Great Strategic Missile Forces Military Academy. Now, as he said, they have begun to equip the premises for these purposes. The accommodation for the “scientific company” military personnel will have its own specifics, which is to enable the “scientific soldiers” to engage “in the institutes and laboratories in the scientific areas that the military man will lead”. And also - “so that he could study independently within the framework of the university where he will live.” In quotes - the words of the Deputy Minister. True, it remained unclear in which institutions and laboratories a soldier would conduct his scientific work, and what he could “engage in within.” Nevertheless, the decision to create five companies has already been made - but not immediately, but gradually, as experience accumulates. According to O. Ostapenko, in the future they may become more. The number of "scientific companies" will vary from 80 to 100 people, "elements of the training of a soldier will also be present." "He will be taught how to shoot from weapons, to some other types of actions of a general arms nature, said the colonel general. “But the main goal, its function will be exactly the occupation of research work in the interests of the defense of the country.”

And, according to the deputy minister, the soldiers, as expected, will have free time, layoffs, they will be able to visit the library, go when necessary, to go home. But the rest is military service with all its inherent rules and regulations. And most importantly, as the ministry believes, a person engaged in scientific and applied work according to his vocation will be able to realize his creative abilities and benefit the country, the army and, of course, himself. Amazing

Earlier, Sergei Shoigu stated that his department was considering the possibility of creating “scientific companies”, in which talented students would be involved in scientific and technical work in the interests of the military. However, the minister stressed: “there will serve talented guys who, without leaving the university walls, will work with teachers to do the work that the Defense Ministry needs.”

There are questions: how to determine the level of talent of a recruit, which allows you to serve urgently, and spend your time in pleasure? And where will these “companies of science” still be - within the walls, where students, who have not yet been drafted into the army, study, as the minister said. Or - at higher military educational institutions, one of which is already equipped with special facilities for their admission, as stated by his deputy.

And in general, what kind of scientific work, if we talk about it seriously, and even in the interests of the Armed Forces, will students be able to conduct during their one-year service life after having studied at a civil university for a year or two?

If we consider that the ordinary "intellectual company" must, in addition, master the basics of the soldiers' service - to go in order, to fire weapons, to know the statutes - then, it turns out, excuse me, frank profanation of both science and the army at the same time.

It is hardly worth doubting what will happen by the well-known expression: we wanted the best ... But it really sounds creative and tempting: a “scientific company”. Nowhere in the world there is no such thing, but we will.

O. Ostapenko also said that the “Defense Advanced Research and Development System of the Russian Ministry of Defense” is being created as part of the military department. The robotics center will be one of the first to be included in it, which will be located on the basis of the former N.Ye. Air Force Engineering Academy. Zhukovsky in Moscow. When creating it, the experience of such a center in the EMERCOM of Russia is used - this is not surprising, taking into account who founded and headed the “emergency workers” for many years. According to O. Ostapenko, the robotic center "will be engaged in scientific studies, the creation of experimental samples, conduct their testing, bring the development to the final product and introduce it into the troops." And it is beautiful. True, one note. Troops are not a market in which it is necessary to "introduce the final product." In the Armed Forces, the “final product” is not being introduced, but is being adopted.

However, the statement about the creation of a certain “system” is much more interesting: it must be a very important and very closed structure of the Ministry of Defense, as it will determine the appearance of weapons of the 21st century. And Colonel-General O. Ostapenko, to whom the new structure will be directly subordinate, explained its functions. According to him, “the very first, main goal of this system is the creation of technical superiority over a potential adversary, in this context we are very actively working on its creation and functioning.”

The structure of the "system" will include: the Main Directorate for Research and Development Activities and Technological Support of Advanced Technologies; Information and Analytical Center for the collection, analysis and preparation of information and Coordination and expert management of research activities; Research Center "Bureau of Defense Solutions", located in Moscow, and the regional department of innovative developments in St. Petersburg. The future center of robotics will join it. In the future, it is planned to create similar structures of the “system” in Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok. According to experts, the main tasks of the "system" will be the organization of scientific activities and technological support of innovative research and development in the field of defense; monitoring and analysis of world scientific activities and developments to prevent the sudden appearance of means capable of posing a threat to the national security of Russia; use of domestic scientific resources and scientific potential of foreign countries in the interests of the state’s defense.

All this is undoubtedly very important and necessary. But how will the “system” of the ministry interact with the Advanced Research Foundation established under the Military Industrial Commission? The tasks they face are almost the same.

The Fund’s work plans announced recently are the creation of supersonic passenger airplanes, ekranoplans and convertoplanes. Such a passenger liner will appear - and the pattern of intercontinental communications and long-distance domestic flights will change completely, say, from the center to the west of Russia and to the east - to Vladivostok and to Kamchatka.

The introduction of a commercially viable machine that provides a flight to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in one hour, to the US Pacific coast in two hours, is able to “close” the entire existing global aviation industry, forcing the competition in this area to start from scratch.

Other priority areas of research and development are the creation of a high-speed helicopter, an WIG, a heavy convertoplane. As the experts of the Foundation explained, these machines “are capable of fundamentally changing the ideas about the transport accessibility of many regions - from mountain gorges to taiga and tundra”.

But in the military department they think differently, in any case, in the part concerning ekranoplans. The Ministry of Defense considers it inappropriate to carry out work on their creation until the appearance and range of tasks solved by an ekranoplane has been determined, said the Director of the Armaments Department of the Ministry of Defense Anatoly Gulyaev. It turns out, except for the possible appearance, there is no clear understanding of its application.

It turns out, decades ago, during the heyday of the USSR, the General Staff of the Soviet Army understood why they were needed, and several copies of various WIGs were built at the request of the military in Gorky. Unique in technical characteristics and combat capabilities of machines, which, by the way, have been tested, including with rocket launches. And now, it turns out, "military thought" is lost. However, the hope is inspired by the fact that in addition to the generals who are trying to determine the place of WIG in solving combat missions, they are also concerned about the creation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. A draft concept for the development of civil aircraft and military aircraft has been developed there. Whose office will prevail, civil or military? The question is not idle.

The words of another deputy defense minister, Yuri Borisov, who came to the military department from the military-industrial complex, can be considered a real sensation.

In Russia, he said, development work began on the creation of combat railway missile systems - BZHRK. And they are held by the Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering - the one in which they made the memorable "Bulava". It is still unclear whether the Bulava passed all the required state tests or not, but, based on what was said by Y. Borisov, the intercontinental missiles for submarines are a past stage. Now all the forces - to create BZHRK. True, the question of whether combat railway missile systems are deployed and on what scale has not yet been resolved.

Yuri Solomonov, General Designer of the Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering, answered the question of whether a new rocket would be needed for combat railroad missile complexes or the old one would be used: "What a rocket is needed will be used like this." Read: either - a secret, or the decision has not yet been made. Recall, the sea "Bulava" was forced through with the emphasis on the fact that it was based on spent ground "Topol", and this means unification of production and its cheapening. It turned out exactly the opposite. No one would be surprised if the same general designer later proves that the adapted Bulava will come down for the BZHRK.

In Soviet times, BZHRK were the most invulnerable and very powerful missile weapons of the Strategic Missile Forces. If the submarine missile carrier is tracked immediately after leaving the base, and it is almost impossible to hide it even in the expanses of the World Ocean, then it was easier to get lost in the USSR railways network. When Washington realized that tracking the movement of trains with intercontinental solid-fuel missiles RT-23UTTH “Well done” - according to the NATO classification “SS-24 Scalpel” - the Americans cannot use technical intelligence at all, they are very alarmed. This should not be ...

In the 1988 year, five regiments were deployed in our country, and by the 1991 year - three rocket divisions, near Kostroma, Perm and Krasnoyarsk. Each division consisted of four missile regiments, a total of 12 compositions. BZHRK looked like ordinary trains of refrigerated, postal baggage and passenger cars. Within each train were three launchers with the "Well done", as well as the entire system of their support with a command post and combat crews. Missile launch could be carried out from any point of the route. For this, the train stopped, the contact suspension of the electric wires was set aside with a special device, the launch canister was placed in an upright position, and the rocket was launched. During the day BZHRK could pass about 1200 kilometers, and the time of its combat autonomous patrol, thanks to the reserves on board, lasted almost a month.

After the collapse of the USSR, the Americans made every effort for Russia to destroy with its own hands its unique strategic power.
At first BZHRK banned patrols and tacked on the quartering of the headquarters of the missile divisions. Then the division was reduced to one - in Kostroma. And at the beginning of this century, the BZhRK were decommissioned, their launchers and missiles were dismantled. So the reconstruction of combat railway complexes of strategic purpose can only be welcomed. But even here in a barrel of honey, not even one, but two fly in the ointment.

First: will the research team headed by Y. Solomonov cope with a very difficult task or will we see the continuation of the “Return of the Bulava” series? The second is: what's stopping the launch of rocket launchers on railway platforms now? Russian specialists, on their own initiative, have created an original, and as yet unparalleled in the world, container rocket complex Club-K. In standard cargo containers there are tactical missiles with a range of up to 500 kilometers. Probably, if you put not two rockets, but one with a large diameter, then you can also increase the flight range. But this is not the main thing. Such rocket trains can be formed very quickly, and they can work out the forgotten technology of managing combat railway complexes. However, the Ministry of Defense does not show any interest in the “Club-K” complexes, as far as we know, it does not plan to adopt them.

However, in addition to dreamy speculations about the "scientific companies" and future strategic complexes of BZhRK, there were also encouraging news today. Tactical Missiles Corporation successfully implements a new generation missile program. The head of the corporation, Boris Obnosov, said that the state tests of twelve new types of sea-based and air-based tactical weapons will be completed before the 2017 year. According to him, the times when enterprises developed two or three new missiles over the decade are a thing of the past: “Now the situation is changing dramatically, and the number is increasing, and the most important thing is new products.”

The corporation is engaged in the development and production of modern samples of tactical missile and bomb aviation weapons, including - for the fifth generation fighter. Also there are created tactical means of destruction for surface ships and submarines. In the list of the most well-known developments of the corporation are the coastal complexes "Ball", "Bastion", ship "Mosquito" and "Uran".

And yet, said B. Obnosov, by the summer of 2013, a comprehensive target program for the development of supersonic missiles will be developed. True, shouting "Hurray!" Is still early, the work is not easy and is designed for several stages, he warned.

So, in the army and in industry began the "spring revival." Let the ekranoplanes take off not soon, but the young intellectuals in the "scientific companies" will get more strained, and, you see, the trains with the "Maces" will roll along the steel highways of Russian Railways, scaring not yet named concrete adversaries.

Naive, what can a student do in a year in a "scientific company"? Is that to be an auxiliary worker "bring it up and put it down."

It's funny The author undertook to speculate on a topic about which, in his own words, has no idea. However, he is very indignant.

Even if 100 out of 20 people get carried away and remain in defense science, it will already be a success. Moreover, the supervisors will identify capable and look for ways to interest and leave the necessary talents.

It's not from the street to call an ad.

I think about it and the calculation. I completely agree. Not everyone who graduates from a technical university works in their specialty.

Vladimir, do you really think that the very Shoigu, having lifted the Ministry of Emergencies out of nothing, making it one of the most effective, is so naive and not far off to start creating something just out of boredom, for show? After all, it is perfectly clear that the main purpose of such companies is the concentration of intelligent brains for R&D in the field of defense.
And the author of the article saw exactly what he himself wants to see - the inability of officials to resolve issues within their competence. Here he - the Author - knows and no one knows about his knowledge. Znachetsa - you need to bring to the masses the light of knowledge.
By the way, about the BZHRK mentioned in the article. A year ago, in response to a similar, all-out post, I said that in this case, not everything is fucked up. Now I will say a little more. One of my acquaintances a year ago carried out preventive maintenance at the BZHRK stationed in one of the depots. And I think that such rapid progress in the revival of this type of weapon rests on a perfectly preserved "basic design".
As for the aforementioned Bulava, then, I think that its adoption is a fact that answers the question - "What's with the Bulava?"

Sorry to interfere, but he didn’t raise anything, but on the contrary destroyed it. There was a civil society in the USSR that the Ministry of Emergency Situations is the heiress of, almost nothing remained of that civil defense. Further, fire services at state farms, now village councils, were reduced, to which the 2010 indicator led. Also, a recent fire in the psychiatry department near Moscow, 48 people died, it turned out that the nearest fire department 40 km in a straight line on the map, and along the 70 road.
I don't know how in Moscow, but our firefighters run away as soon as the seniority pension comes, those who still work on the side before retirement, who are in a taxi, who are interrupted by repairs because their salaries, if not a boss or an inspector, are not high ... Several years ago, at a meeting with Kuzhegetich, they complained to him that there was nothing to eat, to which he accusingly asked, "What did you come here to earn?" Something like that.

I respect those who go to the fires, but a special caste is a special conversation. And the form is the same "Ministry of Emergency Situations", both have written on their backs. All the same, you need to somehow separate them, at least outwardly, so that some would not dishonor others.

Well, the Ministry of Emergency Situations was not the successor to the civil defense. For example, we have KSU "Shield". At least the warehouses of GO are under their jurisdiction. In state farms, fire protection services were reduced along with state farms. And Shoigu is not to blame for that. And I consider it sacrilege to demand that poor agricultural producers maintain an expensive fire department. Now it has been transferred to rural municipalities, and they are still roaring, they need a lot of money, and no one says where to get it. One new pozh. the car costs four lemons. This is the annual budget of most settlements. The fact that the majority earn extra money means that they do not really overwork. (you can minus, but I'm also a little in the subject). I believe that the entire fire service should be sovereign, without division into the Ministry of Emergency Situations, municipal fire brigade, and departmental services. With funding from one center.

About the collapse and devastation. If anyone remembers the events of the Armenian earthquake, then there were no lifeguards at all, but there were snotty boys with shovels from the GO troops. Which packs fainted at the sight of victims. And Kozhugetych created! the most effective rescue structure, and not only in Russia, but also in the world. He must put a monument for all saved lives. And the fact that there is a mess in the country, and in the Ministry of Emergencies in particular, is how the Russians work there too.

Shoigu is not interested in any emergency situations or defense - only in the conduct of Masonic politics.
In 2003, he tried to conduct a training manual through the Ministry of Emergency Situations, how a comet explodes and what people do - they carefully untied, although there was a Vitim explosion behind, ahead of Chelyabinsk. They do not need the population, they only collect data for America. The result is self-sufficiency and the site http://sinteh.info/, respectively, knowledge is separated from application, and this is a public GO and parity.
It is difficult to rejoice at the "revival" of the army, because everything new is aimed at helping Israel in Syria and Iran, the mob stock has already been drained there, it remains only to send troops.
Scientific companies are most similar to a sump for their own in difficult times - to whom is Stalingrad, to whom is Tashkent.

Here on the forum there were a couple of articles on the Dyatlov group - they died and turned red with laughter. Or take a trip southwest of Chelyabinsk - also funny.

I will answer you ... When I was leaving for the army, I did not have a particular interest in sports, and after half a year of study, I got so carried away that I ran in the morning not only until demobilization (causing the ridicule of "demobels" of one year old), but also civilian until recently. Men are 43 years old now, and I quit running in the morning five years ago ... Why? Another question, irrelevant to the case, but it was the Army, or rather my platoonman from the training regiment, laid the interest in morning jogging, as much as 20 years ahead !!! ;)
Much will depend on the organization of the process, and if you are not bored, many will be interested. Especially since in civilian life, there’s nothing special to do ... We already write in the questionnaires: profession - manager. Is it normal?

"Bulava" did not fly, not through the fault of the Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering and not through the personal fault of Solomonov, but through the banal fault of assembly fitters, who work well, as it turned out, only when a camera is hanging over it, and the military representative and OTK are watching together in the camera , and almost the criminal code was assumed as sanctions. "Bulava" flew right after that - and how! The salvo launch of several missiles was even carried out quite successfully - the author will know. So the Solomonites will cope with the BZHRK missiles - a request to the author of the SABZH not to worry. By the way, the "introduction" in the troops also takes place in addition to the "adoption", because weapons systems are being adopted, but the troops have not only weapons, there are also people there, and these people use in their daily work what ordinary people in "civilian life" do. Well, officers do not eat food with cartridges - it's inconvenient. They also eat with spoons. I exaggerate, this is for example, so that the author would understand what it is about.
Concerning "Information and Analytical Center for the collection, analysis and preparation of information and the Coordinating and Expert Management of research activities; Research Center "Defense Solutions Bureau", located in Moscow, and the regional department of innovative developments in St. Petersburg. The future center of robotics will also pour into it"- seems to be a logical question - after all, there is a FPI, why else is this? Well, how would the author of the SABZH know what exactly the FPI will be doing and what exactly this new structure will do. He argues on the basis of logical reasoning arising from simply the rest of the information is not available to him and to me. It is generally available to very few people, and this is correct. Only I do not argue on this topic, I can only assume that the FPI chooses the idea that interests him and finances the author of the idea (and it may even be a student of the first course of some technical university) on a high-risk basis, and the "offices" listed in the SABZH themselves are the authors of the idea in their own specificity and develop it or conduct research themselves. The difference in the forms of doing work is quite tangible. But the author has already sprinkled everything around with sarcastic saliva.
        I set a hard minus.

The idea of scientific companies is far from new. Just a different form.

Back in Soviet times, entire departments, or even faculties, were located on the territory of the country's leading defense enterprises and dealt with the problems of the base enterprise. For example, the faculty of Baumanka on the territory of "Space Systems", then "Radiopribor", the Department of Phystech and several, or even a faculty, from MIREA on the territory of "Kometa". (Information is open). By the end of the university with the next course, enterprises were guaranteed to receive a certain number of personnel. This system has survived.

Now in the institutes of the Ministry of Defense the situation with personnel is much worse than in the branch ones working for defense. A low-budget idea with scientific companies should help enterprises not covered by the aforementioned Soviet system.

PS. As for the whispering wailing sounds that followed the author here, with wringing their hands, they say, thieves and rich ones would slam those mouths, whose cow would mumble. Otkosanty in modern times study in all sorts of London and do not think about conscription. It will be necessary, and they will buy a ticket of the right color. They need it, go to some kind of scientific company.

Also set a minus. This stupid criticism of the Mace is especially enraging. If a rocket has successfully passed a test launch at least once, then its design is correct. And claims for subsequent failures are already to the manufacturer. And moreover, Solomonov was able to initially do everything right, if the first launches were successful. And, for example, in Soviet times, often the first launches ended unsuccessfully and had to make changes to the design of missiles. And the percentage of failures was at about the same level as that of the Mace. But for some reason, critics prefer to remain silent for some reason. And then they are tested to make sure the decisions are correct and, if necessary, make changes. Another thing is when missiles that have already been tested and adopted for service fail. And this is not observed with Solomon missiles.

First, this science itself must be :( A student must be taught to a scientist. There must be a serious scientific school. Finally, there must be clear perspectives and tasks, and not "come up with something like that, so that everyone ..."

For ten years now, they have been promoting a healthy lifestyle, in every city and village there are already sports clubs, a healthy and athletic nation is great and wonderful. A fashionable "trend" (Lord, forgive me) and every measure of the governor will definitely pay attention to this issue in his pre-election campaign. But in the recent past, all-round development was a priority (where the circles of aircraft modeling, radio engineering, etc., etc.). Where is the state target program for development in this direction now? But quite a few talented engineers came out of these circles (maybe crumpled, but I think the meaning is clear?)

I think the reason for these delusional fantasies is the destruction of military education. They destroyed a well-established system thanks to which our country was the leader in the production and development of weapons, and now they are twisting it in the ass to create some kind of appearance of work.

One cannot achieve more in a scientific company; science and order are incompatible. Abstract, abstract thinking and drill have as much in common as a bird and a marten. If there was an order in units to identify technically gifted guys with a scientific mindset and independent thinking, and from them, after interviews with specialists, the best were selected, then these units headed by specialists have a chance of being in demand. In general, it looks like an attempt to avoid corruption, kickbacks, theft at the expense of the "free" of "scientific" personnel, otherwise, you look who will gain a foothold in the industry - the prospects will be good.
Will they graduate from the institute, where will they work, in which country, in what specialty? And so the subscription (secrecy) will be teamwork skills and the chance that they will replace the "old guard". In general, everything has a plus and a minus, it depends on the people who will be entrusted with.

        Absolutely wrong opinion.
At the university, in which I studied student scientific teams led by university research workers, I earned enough money on self-supporting topics for industry so that Alma Mater was able to buy as much computing equipment (EC-computer) as needed. Second-third-fourth-year students solved quite applied problems that were being introduced into production. At the same time, they became involved in a scientific topic, became practical specialists and received good salaries in addition to scholarships.

15-16-year-old gamers are ready-made operators of a variety of drones. I have an 8-year-old son so cut in the World of Tanks - a sight for sore eyes! The 18-year-old programmer in productivity and flexibility is many times superior to the 30-year-old.

What is a programmer in the modern world? This is a solution to any problems: from the creation of various automated control systems, navigation and other applied problems, to the solution of optimization, calculation and other programs on the instructions of titled "real" scientists. Software is now everywhere, as there is single-chip everywhere, from high-precision weapons to any tank or aircraft system. And 18-20-year-old guys click these things like seeds, even just out of curiosity ...

No, you are deeply wrong - there is great potential in this idea.

In general, everything has a plus and a minus, it depends on the people who will be entrusted.
        And here I agree.
You can sabotage, corrupt or bring to absurdity any idea. But if the authors of the idea do not let things go on their own and ensure proper control so that the winners of the olympiads and any other competitions in mathematics, physics, chemistry or programming are selected in scientific companies, then the idea can turn out to be a completely revolutionary breakthrough. Young guys are amazingly efficient and creative.
Well, there will hide a few nonsense from service in combat units - to hell with them. The main thing is not to mass.

Tell me, despite the fact that any man understands the pros and cons of his chosen one, sooner or later, the majority still decides and rushes into this pool? And in most cases, the experiment ends well enough, even children appear and grow up.
And if only because you hesitated, and foreseeing only possible difficulties never married - we would all die out long ago.

You will not try, you will not know.
If you don’t try, you won’t do it.

Conversely, an intelligent person (albeit without education), with his mind will reach what other professors teach.

And the trick is that these "far-sighted and cautious" critics will NEVER CREATE ANYTHING THEMSELVES. But to bring someone who can and wants to do something to a nervous breakdown and heart attack - this is please! They can do that. Convenient to criticize! If an active enthusiast, despite the hissing of critics, succeeds, they can say that this is due to their criticism, their warnings and vigilance. That is, how would he also have to say thanks to them.
But if the enthusiast did not succeed, then the critics will bloom in full growth! What a pleasure it is: to push the one who has stumbled and drown the fallen one !!! What self-admiration for his sagacity! The critic automatically rises on a pedestal over the "worthless" enthusiast, who could and would have done everything if he had at least a couple of approving glances in support.

The preferential conditions for the existence of such companies will just attract such a contingent there - you look and go home again. Better than 30 km march, or wiggle your paddle! Although the benefits can still take place, say, in the field of UAVs and robotic systems. A candidate for such a company must confirm his intentions with some thoughts and practical results, and most importantly, he was interested in the results of his aspirations. 1 / scientific companies reminded me of "sharagi" at the time of Beria :) :) Only the basis is more civilized: under lock and key, but without an article. Think as much as you like
2 / Long work experience led me to an important factor: a job well done = a factor of: salary satisfaction \ good team \ motivation and passion for the job. Moreover, the last factor can be put at the forefront. I noticed that if you do not like what you are doing, then ... everything else will not work. :) :) If Bulava didn’t want to fly, it’s not the cameras, but the absence of these very factors. For 10-15 thousand rubles of salary - a locksmith m \ r naturally thought: "what anyone needs, then it will fly itself"

And now I will not go to the defense industry or to the state sharagu for any price. In the age of digital technologies, communication with mutants from regulatory bodies (always controlling everything, sometimes not, another not ...) hits the head very well and creative thinking :) :). Moreover, the imposed sin of carrying the mythical "state secret" is neither financially nor morally supported, but everyone wants to fuck me in the bare ass, and the halo of the martyr and the train to Magadan always hang over his head.

"scientific companies" are not entirely a bad idea, and it is strange that they did not come up with this during the Soviet Union. After all, then, and partially now, there were, for example, "creative companies" (although they were not called that) at the theater of the Soviet Army, song and dance ensembles, regimental orchestras, etc. And now many famous and talented actors remember the "hardships" and "hardships" of the times of simultaneous service to the Motherland and Melpomene in the ranks of the SA. Mdaa, but I don’t remember any smart-sensible graduate students in companies at all kinds of military factories and research institutes. And today's reasons are clear. A junior researcher in a design bureau or research institute receives such ridiculous money (if not through patronage) that only half-crazy enthusiasts remain to work there. They can be partially replaced by intelligent students who will receive practice and even some kind of salary.

The question is not about whether it is realistic for our country to create a guided military space platform with a nuclear engine over the next ten years.

And why exactly "space" and "nuclear"?
It is expensive and ineffective, suitable for some kind of global war, and not in order to defend itself, but in order to ditch all the rest.

What is more relevant now is a plan like the pre-war Stalin five-year plans:
      - protection of one’s own information field in order to stop hostile propaganda among the population;
      - creating the basis for economic growth, improving living standards, as a guarantee of growth and military science, including;
      - reconstruction of the industry to enter the advanced technological positions, primarily the revival of the electronic industry.

And among purely military tasks, it is much more important:
      - the creation of a reliable system for command and control of troops up to the tactical level, to the platoon;
      - saturation of reconnaissance units with tactical reconnaissance means, such as UAVs with the possibility of online transmission of information from the battlefield and interception / suppression of all enemy communication channels;
      - training of a large number of counter-terrorist units capable of countering the "partisan" methods of various militants (capable, as it turned out, paralyze life in 28-million Syria with a fairly powerful regular army of the old model);
      - building up the capabilities of air defense systems of both short range (to cover the battlefield) and long range to the ability to repel a one-time massive air attack;
      - Strengthening and modernizing the global positioning, detection and target designation system.

And all sorts of 10th generation fighters, laser-nuclear aerospace complexes, hyper-duper-sonic railguns, bombers with invisible bombs and other "advanced developments" should be used in the form of high-profile advertising projects that allow keeping the enemy in tension, in the form of a distracting force and means of maneuver. There is no need to use this bait for "Star Wars", which are quite capable of ruining not only the USSR and Russia, but even those who uncontrollably print "tricks" on green paper. (Even if they really build something like that, then the S-500 will easily cope with this, followed by more S-600, S-700 and further, up to the thousandth. This is economically more profitable.)

Eyes are afraid, hands are doing, they used to say so.
And they also said, "Only the one who does nothing is not mistaken."
And whoever does it, we should not support him in any case. We should stand next to one of seven with a shovel and bite our teeth: - "I'm afraid you won't do anything, bro! And generally you take a little and throw it in the wrong place!"

This is a very convenient position: you won’t sweat, and if that person doesn’t succeed with a shovel (and with such “support” there is a chance), then we will have a feeling of complete moral superiority: “But I said right away, it won’t work!”

Only in this way, guys, you will not do a damn thing at all - they will transfer you, so smart, far-sighted and careful, like chickens. The trench should be dug together, all at once. And the butterfly net, which has been dug in badly so as not to sweat, will die during the first shelling.

In general, the idea of creating a "scientific mouth" is necessary, if only it would not be ruined during implementation.

Students of the first years of study are not engaged in scientific work. After the first courses, the main screening takes place. The enterprises do not create "scientific" subdivisions for evening students and correspondence students. They are only allowed additional leave for the period of the session. Students are not exempt from physical education classes.
I lead to the fact that it is easier to give lectures and conduct practical exercises in the classrooms of the military unit closest to the university. Surcharge to teachers for some inconvenience is minuscule compared to the cost of creating pseudo-scientific companies, the creation of which I consider the next veiled excuse.
Ideally, the acquisition of primary higher education should take place completely in the Army and for girls too. Universities will be happy to have the control of harsh sergeants and the removal of hostel problems for freshmen.
A vibrant club life can wait a year or two, but for just dancing, time and strength will remain - I know by myself.

My experience in commanding ships, even in Soviet times, showed that students of technical universities mastered and successfully operated weapons and equipment for two months already, while at the same time, other military service personnel needed 6-8 months for this (with rare exceptions).
I believe that it all depends on the training programs, the professionalism of the mentors and commanders of the formations and units controlling the actions to solve this problem. Unfortunately, there are very few professionals with such training methods.

in order to raise the intellectual level in the Army, it’s much easier, more logical and more useful for business, to stop the military department for students altogether, or rather to leave the department, as for future junior officers, but then to the troops for a full term. That was what they did to us in 1988, experts came to the troops, they immediately dismantled them according to technical specialties and still have not called for retraining. pah-pah

In a good sense, Russia was lucky that we had the capable MIT and Makeyevites. They proved that they were able to create advanced models of sophisticated military equipment ... The calculation of Western strategists for the complete decline of the Strategic Missile Forces by the time the Governor's statute of limitations had failed. And to place the Mace in the dimensions of the railway wagon of increased carrying capacity is not a difficult problem. There would be missiles ... Given the availability of appropriate infrastructure that minimizes costs, it’s a sin not to use it to revive the new generation of BZHRK.

It is unlikely that even if they create the BZHRK, there will be a Mace on it, because her range is 8000 km. Rather, it will be Yars or a new rocket.

It is Bulava with a range of more than 9300 km, with a launch weight of 36,8 tons and a throwable 6x150kt, and maneuvering! The range can be further increased by reducing the number of warheads or decoys. With a length of 12,1 m and a diameter of 2 m, it can be placed in a "normal" 40-foot container ... Of course, the container must be able to take such a weight + hydraulic lift, because the usual one can withstand only 20 tons. It is not practical to place a heavier rocket on a railway platform, which still needs to be developed and tested.

It is unlikely that the Mace carries false goals. There are maneuvering blocks there, and if false targets are not able to maneuver in the same way, then what's the point? 9300 km is the range, probably with the least load, which is unlikely to be suitable for use in the BZHRK. There is Yars, which in length coincides with the missiles that were previously used in the BZHRK, and its range is 11000 km. Still, it seems, on the basis of Yars a new rocket is being developed. In my opinion, the Vanguard is called. It is possible that it will be unified for both the BZHRK and PGRK, and maybe for the mine placement.

For the BZHRK, Molodets (Scalpel) was created by the designer Utkin in Ukraine ... Alas, Khrushchev tied up almost all the missile theme in the USSR to Ukraine. And it was only by a miracle that the Makeyevka center in Miass and the MIT people, who "surfaced" after Khrushchev, were able to become self-sufficient ...

In vain, the author went so far as to "introduction into the troops". An old term that was used in the pre-war years. A large complex of work: working out the principles of combat use, finding the place of this sample in the regular structure of units, preparing textbooks, instructors, training programs ... Well, and a whole bunch of other tasks.

And there is no need to put an equal sign between the introduction into the troops and the introduction into service.
The Metis-M was put into service in 1992. But the troops do not have it, and the anti-tank machine-gun companies use the SPG-9, which are not only morally obsolete.

Almost all missiles in service, with the exception of the segment of cruise missiles, have a flight speed greater than the speed of sound.

About the "scientific mouth". It is very pleasant that people understand the stupidity, and the danger of the author's message. Not that Shoigu uncle to play the fool ... All this is true. But, there is one more moment.
As a child, I always played all kinds of outdoor games very well, even came up with a couple ... then I began to wonder how it works out for me? I was then in average physical condition. I observed ... my thinking is so arranged - it is not drowned. No matter how much adrenaline boils in the blood, the head still works, and not the pairs of rushing ears, like many. I got older - it came in handy ...
I have always read and watched the stories of veterans with interest. I asked myself who was successful ... only a veteran needs a real, not oak-like European anaral, whose memoirs are sometimes cited here. Intellectuals ... are not able to notice how the beginning of a paragraph enters into an insoluble logical contradiction with the middle and all this contradicts the end. Here is a film - an interview with a Patriotic tanker. Phenomenally "lucky" guy, he fought for almost five years, on Victory Day he healed the first serious wound ... how? What is "luck"? I'm analyzing his story about preparing for battle ... well, yes. He examines the field. But first of all he is not looking for external shelters, such as bushes, huts, fences, etc. and the future itself is a battlefield. There is no flat land, except only salt lakes. So the guy remembers the relief itself - depressions, hummocks, tiny ridges and hillocks. Moreover, he sees the field from all sides, from his own, from the side of the enemy, from the sides ... The tank is not a tall thing. He skillfully lowered it into a dimple ... it seems that the dimple is not large, but the enemy has already burst. Now he will drive to that tower ... Load it with armor-piercing! Now we'll slap him in the belly!
Unique? Nope ... Anyone can do it, not just a natural talent like this person. There is a mnemonic technique that consists in memorizing the visible space. You close your eyes and look at what you saw for a couple of seconds. You can slowly make out the readings of hundreds of control devices, for example ... Why did thousands of tankers die? Because nobody taught them this. Why didn't you teach? BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW! Why have we been defeating opponents for thousands of years? And we, such "unmuffled", are many in Russia. We are smarter than the enemy, because we maintain a psycho-unity through any fear, through any pain. And if we also add the training of the mind, add military training techniques with civilian training of the intellect ... How our enemies dream of turning our clever people into a "creative class"! In harmless, stupid fools with iPhones ... They will break off, as always.

"Scientific companies" I like the idea, there are many young people with brains and this kind of service is useful for them and the army.
BZHRK will do, if not already.
Stupidity is the complete position of the author that the ancestors were able to assemble a "lorry", but the modern research institutes and military-industrial complex will not succeed. Get it.

In a scientific company, I think it is not necessary to engage in science. Students with a scientific mindset, with incomplete higher education. For a year they can acquire a Military Accounting Specialty in which knowledge of electronics, physics and ....... is not necessary at the 11th grade level. Students of the 2nd - 4th courses with such knowledge cannot apply for the benefit of the sun. Yes, you have to serve not with your year. These conscripts can get a specialty at the officer level. No need to drive them to cross-country races, ......, ...... Let them master the management of complex military technical systems in the shortest possible time. So "Scientific companies" are not necessarily engaged in science, but in science-intensive military specialties. Well, there you look and interest will appear in military science. You can't enter closed institutes from the street, but here you can pick up a candidate and check it out, 24 hours before our eyes. The idea is not bad in my opinion.

As for the military mouths, this is complete nonsense! A 1-2 year student who has ended up in the army does not have the knowledge base that is needed for scientific work, especially in the military sphere! This is another insanity of our politicians and "kodzhugetichi" like them ... Alas, DOSAAF cannot revive, model and technical circles, but here they want to train specialists in a year without interrupting their service ... And service for 1 year! Yeah ..... Anyway, either drought or aphids will gobble up, but if something grows, the authorities will steal ...
