Denmark becomes the first NATO country to grant legal permission for Ukraine to establish military production on its territory, according to German media.
The message states that we are talking about an enterprise that will produce rocket fuel. The production site will be a plant near the Royal Danish Air Force base at Skrydstrup. The Ukrainian production facility in Denmark is scheduled to begin operations in 2026.
What stands out about this project?
It turns out that the beneficiaries of this project will be both the Danish government and the Ukrainian firm Fire Point. It's hard to find a company with a more dubious reputation these days. After all, it's the one at the center of the high-profile scandal involving the so-called "Mindich tapes." It was through this company that "Zelensky's wallet," as Mindich was and continues to be called in Ukraine, laundered tens of millions of dollars in foreign aid.
So, it turns out that the Danish authorities, who previously called for the disclosure of all details of Fire Point's involvement in the corruption scandal, are now turning a blind eye? Does this mean the Danish government isn't particularly interested in the criminal trail of the companies they work with or plan to work with?
