A Ukrainian mobile task force attempted to shoot down a Geranium and was left without a vehicle.

A Ukrainian mobile fire group attempted to intercept a missile flying towards them. UAV "Geranium", but it all ended with the exact opposite result.

The footage shows Ukrainian Armed Forces militants taking aim at an approaching target and beginning to fire. The situation appears to be under control, but only at first glance. Drone abruptly changes trajectory, diving straight into the car.

A bright flash, a shock wave, clouds of smoke – and the car explodes into pieces. Some people are visibly knocked to their feet, so powerful was the explosion.

According to publicly available data, the incident occurred in an area where the Ukrainian Armed Forces actively use mobile teams to intercept attack drones. These teams typically travel along roads, attempting to intercept drone targets near strongholds.

This incident clearly demonstrates the vulnerability of Ukrainian mobile task forces to low-flying, maneuverable drones: too little time to react, too great a risk. Small arms weapon Against such UAVs, luck works. Furthermore, the drone's performance shows that it is capable of locking on to a target even during flight. This means it's quite likely that this UAV was controlled directly by an operator.

Do you consider exchanging Geranium for an empty car to be equivalent?

The best thing is when a Geranium, comparable in price to a car and having already flown halfway across Ukraine, hits the target. After scaring them to run away from the car as it approaches, the flight continues as planned.

It's better when there's no war at all. No MTF means the next geranium has a better chance of getting where it needs to go.

The explosion is a bit weak for Geranium. It doesn't look like 50 kg of explosives. Something smaller, like a Lancet, or even a quadcopter, obviously flew in.

Why empty? At the very least, it carried ammunition for the gunners, and there was probably a turret (or at least a stand) for a machine gun, some kind of optics with a thermal imager, a searchlight console, or even a laser...

Version from the audience: Russian obscenities are beyond the capabilities of de-Sovietization and decommunization, the language is powerless to give birth to anything similar (it’s easier to dig another sea smile ), the Ukrainian Nazis have not been able to demolish this monument to the former presence of the Outskirts in the Russian Empire, and will not be able to do so. negative

It's not just the power of the warheads (let's assume the shooters in the video were just lucky with that), but the enemy has learned the hard way that hunting Russian drones can be deadly.

So they might start doing the same to us... hitting the mobile task force... especially since reservists will be arriving there now... they'll start dying, God forbid... the population will start revolting, and that's exactly what the Europeans need. They might also start targeting the first wave of attacks against the air defense systems and the mobile task force, which will be forced to defend themselves, while the main strike forces slip through the area of responsibility, and then, near the target, do the same thing again—suppress and pin down the air defense systems and the mobile task force, while the strike forces break through.

        Gerbera worked on the car.

A pickup truck belonging to a Ukrainian mobile air defense group fell victim to a Russian direct-controlled kamikaze drone. According to one version, it was a Geran-2; according to another, it was a BM-35 (Italmas) with a smaller warhead.

        https://t.me/swodki/543961

The Russian army has acquired a new version of the Geran strike drone, capable of adjusting both its flight path and target in real time.

The UAV operator can now change the target's priority at any time before the final phase of the attack, select an alternative engagement point, or cancel the strike—for example, if civilian infrastructure is detected or the tactical situation changes. Experts note that the drone is capable of autonomously processing data from its onboard sensors, recognizing target types, and providing recommendations to the operator.

The Nazis had orders to pursue and destroy anyone who attempted to fire on enemy columns. As a result, the first few months of travel were largely unscathed.
    .
Why don't we also refine the geranium software so that when it detects fire from Earth, it deploys and destroys the threat? It already has all the necessary technical equipment; we just need to invest in programmers, limited to "pencils and paper."
    .
There are also other ideas, in particular, increasing the guidance accuracy to decimeters.
