China unveils RB21H spherical robot for urban patrols

At the Paris exhibition Milipol 2025, the Chinese company Beijing Ribri Technology presented the RB21H spherical robot – a ground UAV, which has powerful acoustic capabilities.

The central element of the system's design is the acoustic module, which clearly transmits sound in noisy environments where conventional speakers might struggle. The speaker is designed to clearly convey specific notifications or warning signals to people.

The RB21H is capable of generating a sound level of 142 dB briefly and 134 dB continuously. These are very high values, close to the sound level of a jet aircraft taking off (approximately 140 dB). A human experiences pain at 130 dB, so it is quite possible that the device is intended for police applications in riot control.

The robot can reach speeds of up to 34 km/h, making it one of the fastest ground-based vehicles in its category. The system weighs 180 kg.

According to the developer, the robot is designed to provide effective voice notification in areas where security personnel must communicate with individuals or groups remotely. The RB21H supports remote communication during urban patrols, acting as an audio hub between the operator and those in the notification area.

Yeah, when they turn on the high-frequency squeal and low-frequency drums at full decibels, you'll run away from it if you can, and not towards it with an instrument. what

About three months ago, I saw a program about this robot on Chinese TV. If I'm not mistaken, it can also cast a net.

The Chinese took the Russian fairy tale about Kolobok and created an innovative modern version. It looks impressive, and the declared parameters are impressive.

If Russia decides to negotiate a production license for this robot with the Chinese, I suggest calling it "Kon-SvV"! And now I'd like to remind you that, back in Syria, Russian engineering units were armed with a spherical "robot" for surveillance in hard-to-reach areas! It's used by simply throwing the "robot" to the desired location! Clearly, such a "ball" would be useful for attack aircraft!
