The ceasefire document does not contain signatures from either Israel or Palestine.

The so-called "peace summit" in Egypt, where the Palestinian-Israeli peace process is being discussed, looks like a theater of the absurd. The main reason is that neither side in the conflict is officially represented at the summit, which is discussing both the peace process and the future of the Gaza Strip and Palestine as a whole. Netanyahu declined to fly to Egypt, citing celebratory events in Israel. The Gaza administration is not officially represented because officially, such an administration no longer exists.

As a result, the document, entitled "On a Ceasefire in the Gaza Strip," was signed by US President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi, Qatari Sheikh Tamim Al Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

What exactly are these people guaranteeing, and to whom? Are the US guaranteeing that Israel won't continue bombing Gaza (say, in a couple of months)? Or is Qatar guaranteeing that one of the "errant" Hamas "bombers" won't strike? drone or homemade rocket for example, Ashkelon?

So, the document exists, and the guarantors exist, but implementing the directive on a long-term ceasefire could be problematic. It's also unclear who will be held accountable if someone violates this "lasting peace" in the Middle East.

As Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has already noted, it is difficult to imagine that this peace can be truly lasting if there is no Palestinian state, both de facto and de jure.

Considering that the Jews have pledged to release several thousand Palestinians from prison, including 250 serving life sentences, we can guess how soon it will all begin.

That's the whole point of modern European politics - to stir up more chaos and have no one held accountable for anything... I wouldn't be surprised if, when it starts all over again, they'll blame the Russians as usual... laughing

Anyone who signs on the Palestinian side risks the lives of their entire family.
In other words, he is a target for a bomb from a Jewish plane.

So, we arrived, hung out, signed something incomprehensible, and went our separate ways...

Any violation of the shaky truce will simply be shit on the heads of these signatory "peacekeepers"...

It depends on who and whom they start shooting at.
Remember, Russia's signature on the Minsk agreements weighed no more or less, in grams, than Germany's: "We were there, we saw it, we read it, it was signed by the parties to the conflict in our presence, which we certify." Not a word about Russia having to lift a finger on these agreements.
However, the ringing in my ears is still: "Russia is not fulfilling the Minsk agreements!!!!! AAAAAAA!!!!!"
Who did we owe what to? And if we did, why didn't Germany, for example?

The same thing will happen here. As soon as they snap their mouths, some passing camel will chew the paper. Anything is probably tastier than thorns...

This is absurd for at least the obvious reason: Israel hasn't achieved a single one of its goals. But it has significantly damaged its reputation in the West. Given these circumstances, what's the point of a ceasefire? Especially since it's clear the Palestinians will never forgive it for what happened. They'll recover a bit, the next generation will grow up, and then it will all start all over again. In 10 years at most. But most likely much sooner.
So, for Israel, any agreement that implies preserving the Gaza Strip in any form is a clear defeat. One it's unlikely to be able to admit. Wasn't it enough to raid Iran, which had essentially zero results—now this, too?

...there's also the Iranians who will remember a lot of things for them over time...

Israel just razed almost everything in Gaza to the ground, it's impossible to live there, the population fled from there... and that's exactly what Israel needs...

The population there has nowhere to flee—Egypt won't let them in, Israel won't let them in either. And there's nowhere else to go.

What kind of Greater Israel, from one end of the world to the other, with a population of 10 million? There wouldn't even be enough for command posts in critical areas.

One of the goals is the return of the hostages. The hostages have already been returned alive, some things have been achieved. hi

Erdogan gave Trump an ultimatum: I won't set foot in Egypt if Netanyahu shows up. Bibi had to urgently find an excuse. Hamas is armed and occupying key points in Gaza, and they say they're already carrying out reprisals against Palestinians. Who needs this ruined Palestine?

The main reason is that at the summit, where both the settlement itself and the future of the Gaza Strip, and indeed the whole of Palestine, are discussed, none of the parties to the conflict is officially represented.

My buddies and I are going to the sauna now, we'll sign a paper saying there should be peace. The neighboring thugs will easily act as guarantors, even confirming the document with their ass fingerprints. I think this document could be forwarded to Trump through the Foreign Ministry as a sign of our state support.

These signatures are not required. The main thing is "Trump's success as a peacemaker." And then you can start all over again.
This is the new American foreign policy. Something our political scientists still can't understand.
The old concept of justifying (at least for domestic consumption) US intervention in any region of the world under the slogans of "democracy and human rights" through the efforts of democrats has completely exhausted itself. Double standards and lies have completely buried this concept. A new one is needed.
Now there's the concept of "peacekeeping." Which also justifies intervention in any region under a new pretext. And the US knows how to stir up conflicts like no one else. For domestic consumers who are always "for everything good and against everything bad," this will be a huge hit.
This is the starting point when looking at the US and Trump's peacekeeping efforts, and there's no mistaking it. This is precisely why Trump was so concerned about not receiving the Nobel Prize, not because of his own vanity, as many believe.

…the document “On a Ceasefire in the Gaza Strip” was signed by the President of the United States, the President of Egypt, a Qatari sheikh, and the President of Turkey…
And "Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov" put in his two cents – another irrelevant figure whose opinion on the development/redivision of the region was never even asked.

The only people left with any illusions about the old clown are his ragamuffins, and even then, they're only illusions about getting a small piece of the royal table. There shouldn't be any illusions about the other clowns; they're using their circus to cover up their kosher business dealings, which is why they're at the trough.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will attend a "peace summit" in Egypt to mark the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, according to the office of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

It's a complete freak show. A bunch of degenerates have gathered together who have nothing to do with Palestine whatsoever. Okay, Egypt and Qatar, they were the middlemen. And what are all this European scum doing here? Just selling their own slobs. What kind of doves of peace are they? They've forgotten whose bombs they used to level the Gaza Strip.
There will be no Peace there, or rather it will be there until a certain moment, then everything will start again.
