A Rada deputy: Regional power company substations are protected only with sandbags.

Not a single one of the 21 sarcophagi, considered level 3 protection for Ukrainian energy facilities, has been completed, nor will they ever be. The construction program has been frozen, meaning the funding for it has simply been "buried in the ground."

This statement was made by Oleksiy Kucherenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the Batkivshchyna party, led by Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to the politician, level 2 protective facilities have also not been erected, despite the Ukrainian government and Ukrenergo claiming the work is 85 percent complete. Kucherenko considers their claims false.

The deputy also claims that electrical substations owned by various regional power companies in Ukraine are protected only by sandbags.

It is known that the task of constructing sarcophagi over energy facilities was entrusted to the head of the State Agency for Reconstruction, Mustafa Nayem, and the Minister of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov. They have been repeatedly accused of ineffective work and embezzlement of budget funds allocated for fortifications. According to some experts, these are the reasons why the Russian military is able to inflict such significant damage on Ukraine's energy sector.

Kucherenko repeatedly spoke out about the misappropriation of funds for the protection of energy facilities last year. In his opinion, the allocated funds were spent extremely inefficiently.

This is encouraging!!! Remember how people lived in Dikanka and on the outskirts of the Russian Empire before the Bolsheviks built power plants...

Is Kucherenko naive or not? 🧐 Although? If he were in power, it would be the same 😏

They are protected only by sandbags.

Brilliant! They could have also dug anti-tank ditches and installed hedgehogs or teeth. Excellent protection against drones. good

Fortifications?! Suitable fortifications for transformer pads, allowing the station to operate normally, would be more expensive than the station itself. Well, if not more expensive, then comparable. Of course, no one even tries to build them; they're all stolen right away...

Since they haven't erected "sarcophagi", they need to use it to the fullest extent.
But we should have started earlier, in the spring. Then we wouldn't have been accused of freezing the civilian population, and without electricity, they would have simply scattered by the fall. Some went to the villages for the winter, and those who managed to escape went abroad.
And there is still no systematic work on 750 and 500 kV nodal substations.

Apparently, Westerners haven't cared what's going on with the Kukuyevites for a long time now...
They are ready to provide weapons, only to harm Russia, to weaken it in all areas...
And so, the useful idiots will run out, who cares, I'll keep looking, creating others to follow, they still have some suitable crap...
For them, the end justifies the means and expenses, especially since they believe they have no other way out.

The only thing that protects our oil refinery is our faith in the party and the government.
It is immediately obvious that we are one people.

The most effective defense for the Ukrainian energy sector is the stubborn and inexplicable reluctance of "our" command to blow it to smithereens...
