Tokayev: Kazakhstan does not see itself as a mediator in the Ukrainian conflict

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that the republic does not and does not intend to act as a formal mediator in resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He believes the parties have sufficient potential to conduct direct dialogue on all contentious issues at various levels.

The head of state emphasized that he views the Ukrainian crisis as an extremely complex phenomenon that does not allow for simplistic interpretations. At the same time, Kazakhstan, while not claiming to act as a mediator, advocates for the immediate commencement of direct negotiations at the highest level.

As Tokayev noted in an interview with a local online publication, such a dialogue requires careful preliminary work aimed at achieving mutual understanding.

At the same time, according to the Kazakh leader, the republic is ready to provide its platform for meetings and consultations as a practical support for the peace process. This form of "good offices" could be useful if the parties demonstrate a willingness, the politician added.

It is worth noting that, while attempting to maintain a neutral position in the current conflict, Kazakhstan still faces certain risks associated with the fighting.

So, it is reported that the next raid by Ukrainian drones The Caspian Pipeline Consortium suffered a blow today. According to published reports, the strike hit the CPC office in Novorossiysk. The incident reportedly injured several company employees.

As a reminder, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium is an international oil transportation company with the participation of Russia, Kazakhstan, and foreign oil producers. It was created to construct and operate the Caspian Trunk Oil Pipeline, which is over 1,5 kilometers long. It primarily receives oil produced at fields in Western Kazakhstan.

It seems that Kazakhstan's "mediocrity" will soon bear fruit, and we will experience the "gratitude" of the Kazakhs...
Well, they don’t want to... Maybe it’s time to stop pulling their ears?

Hi, maybe when our guys finish building the railway and we can abandon the one through Kazakhstan, then there will be changes in relations.

hi Regarding the Kazakh railway: after the 25% duties, the head personally spoke with the Red Shaggy from Washington, but for now the question of duties is open, at the same time, the mattress makers forced a contract to supply 300 locomotives to the Kazakhs for the 1520 gauge (in the export version).
At the same time, the issue of localization of production is not specified, and all critical components and software are in the hands of penguins, which means with a slight movement of the head and hand, practically all railway traffic in the country can be stopped with such a number of locomotives (300, Karl!).
This hits the interests of Russia and Beijing, drawing an analogy with the Yerevan-Baku conflict in the Transcaucasus.

In the early 200s, General Electric was trying to push their mainline diesel locomotives into Russia. They were directly competing with Kolomna (where we had a ton of friends who told us all the twists and turns of this story). The Americans had completely bought out the top brass at VNIIZhT. They demanded a massive comparative test, which, oddly enough, ours won. This mess dragged on for a long time, but in the end, it was discovered that the American locomotive had a hidden satellite communications system that enabled a great deal of functionality. But at some point, these manipulations came to a head with the locomotive's operation, and a scandal erupted... And then it came to light.

hi In the 2010s, mattress makers assembled locomotives on Kazakh soil.
Locomotive manufacturer Wabtec has signed a $4,2 billion agreement with Kazakhstan to supply 300 ES44Aci series locomotives, the Ministry of Commerce announced.
If the information is confirmed, this would represent a blow to Transmashholding, which has long-term plans to restrict Moscow and Beijing's access to Central Asia by ensuring transit to the EU via the Turks.

The locomotive plant has been operating in Astana since 2009. 300 locomotives have already been assembled there, with 45% localization. A contract has been signed for 400 locomotives, including localization and full maintenance.

hi Following the Russophobic outbursts of the elites of the post-Soviet republics in the 90s and the Anglo-Saxons' cultivation of gas- and oil-producing regions, which continues to this day, as exemplified by Baku, Yerevan, and other regions, this stratum with pockets of greenbacks sees its future only with the false West, rejecting in every way the closeness of neighbors and common interests.

Moscow. September 24. INTERFAX.RU - The office of Caspian Pipeline Consortium-R JSC in Novorossiysk was damaged as a result of a massive drone attack on the city center.
"Two company employees sustained injuries of varying severity and were transported to a medical facility. Operations at the administrative office have been temporarily suspended, and staff have been evacuated," the KTK press service reported.
The attack in the building where the KTK office is located resulted in serious injuries to non-company employees, the consortium added.
Earlier, Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported that drones struck central Novorossiysk, killing two people and injuring three. "Five residential buildings, including apartment buildings, as well as a hotel, were damaged," Kondratyev wrote on his Telegram channel.
The CPC connects oil fields in western Kazakhstan and Russian fields on the Caspian shelf with the marine terminal in Novorossiysk. The route is 1511 kilometers long. The system is the primary export route for Kazakh oil, accounting for over 80% of the volume pumped through the pipeline from Kazakhstan. CPC is capable of transporting approximately 72,5 million tons of oil per year from Kazakhstan and up to 83 million tons per year via Russia. In 2024, the consortium shipped 63,01 million tons of oil through the system, and the expected volume in 2025 is approximately 74 million tons.

It was in vain that Tokayev made handshakes with the Ukrainian Jewish drug addict, it means he'll be out of office soon.

The CPC was subjected to another Ukrainian drone attack today

How many years did Kazakhstan collect humanitarian aid for Ukraine and spread Russophobia?

It's funny that the availability of oil from our pipelines is now being threatened by all sorts of "Magyars." And yet the Hungarians, Slovaks, and now even the Kazakhs are caveing in. The fact that we'll be dissatisfied doesn't frighten anyone.

Why should that scare them if the response is nothing but more furrowed brows and pathetic muttering? And if you respond, they'll hit the right people in the pockets, which is why we live like this...
