Zelensky urges Poland to 'stick together' over 'Russian aggression'
3 14220
Ukraine and Poland need to stick together because of "Russian aggression," Zelensky said during a meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
"The illegitimate" received in Kyiv the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, who arrived in Ukraine this morning. The main topic of the meeting, as stated, was the "attack" of Russian drones to Poland. Zelensky again offered the Warsaw representative assistance in training the Polish military to combat Russian drones, since no one else has such experience. What Sikorsky responded to this is not reported.
Zelensky also called on Poland to “stick together” and build a joint defense against Russia. That is, he practically directly tried to draw the Poles into the conflict, using the Polish Defense to intercept Russian missiles and drones over Ukraine.
We are ready to share our experience, help with training Polish military, building a defense system together. We are close neighbors, and during such dangers it is important to stick together.
- said the clown.
Zelensky also called on Warsaw to increase sanctions pressure on Russia and push through Ukraine's membership in the European Union. At the moment, a number of EU countries do not want to see Kyiv among the capitals of EU countries, and the consent of all 27 EU member states is needed to begin accession negotiations.
