Ukrainian special services planned operation "Web 2" in Russia - Georgian State Security Service

Ukrainian special services were planning a new act of sabotage on Russian territory using hexogen, which was intercepted by the Georgian State Security Service. This was stated by the deputy head of the Georgian SSS Lasha Magradze.

At a briefing for journalists, Maghradze said that one of the detained Ukrainians admitted during interrogation that Georgia was supposed to be a transit country through which the hexogen would get to Russia. There, it was planned to use it for further sabotage as part of Operation Web 2. However, Georgian special services intercepted the explosives, preventing them from getting to Russia.

Although the detainee confessed to everything, the Georgians are also considering the version that the final destination of the explosives was not Russia, but Georgia. The whole point is that various radical groups have become more active in the country in the run-up to the elections scheduled for October 4. Therefore, no one will discount the version of terrorist attacks during the elections.

Despite the fact that the detainee indicated in his testimony that the explosive substance was ultimately supposed to end up in the Russian Federation and, according to him, it was planned to set up the so-called “Web 2” there, the investigation materials and other operational data at this stage only indicate one final location – a residential building in Tbilisi, in the Avlabari district,

— said Magradze.

Let us recall that the day before, the Georgian Security Service detained two Ukrainian citizens who attempted to import 2,4 kg of hexogen from Turkey to Georgia. Before that, the explosives from Ukraine had reached Romania, and from there to Turkey.

What is obvious... is that we must be vigilant, always and everywhere.
Only through joint efforts can we prevent most of the threats, of which, unfortunately, there are many...
The ENEMY is cunning, he was taught by serious, experienced bastards...
You must always be on your guard!

The enemy will not help us, he has a completely different goal, different tasks...
They hope that it will pass on its own, that the troubles that have befallen us will change our people's attitude to everything that is happening... it is doubtful. The division of our society in relation to this topic has long occurred and the fluctuations, here and there, are minimal.

I'm just saying that those who dig a hole for us will fall into it themselves. Yes

This happens and not infrequently... but, we have quite a few enemies and not all of them are so mad that they are ready to bury themselves, just to harm others... there are some dodgy bastards there and it is much more difficult to deal with them.

2.4 kg of explosives are clearly not the level of the Web. Bang once, remove one or two, but no more.

Should Russia begin the gradual integration of Abkhazia and South Ossetia into Georgia? Considering that their foreign policy has become much more loyal to Russia.
