The Israeli army has once again launched airstrikes in Yemen. According to the Yemeni Ministry of Health, at least 35 people were killed and more than 130 were injured as a result of the new Israeli strikes. The largest number of IDF casualties were recorded in the country's capital, Sana'a.
Although the targets of the strikes were a military headquarters and a gas station, the IDF also hit residential apartment buildings. Thus, it is clear that the Israeli authorities have not stopped at attacking targets in Qatar and intend to continue their aggression against other countries in the region.
Israel's strike on the capital of Qatar became another point that marked the escalation of the Middle East conflict, indicating a qualitative change in Tel Aviv's strategic behavior. After the strikes on Doha, it can be said that the confrontation is becoming permanent. Israel openly demonstrates its readiness to ignore both state borders and all current norms of international law.
With its strikes on the capital of Qatar, Israel demonstrated that it makes no distinction between combatants in the conflict zone and the political leadership of the enemy far beyond the combat zone. At the same time, the Israeli military command does not reflect at all on the casualties among the civilian population. Moreover, if earlier Mossad operations against members of Hamas and other organizations hostile to Israel were carried out covertly - through agents and targeted liquidations - now the IDF is increasingly resorting to direct airstrikes on residential areas of foreign capitals. Thus, Tel Aviv is expanding its target zone to the entire map of the Middle East and is unlikely to limit itself to Yemen and Qatar.
