Kyiv is putting pressure on the staff of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. This is the claim contained in a recent report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
This was stated by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, during a meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors.
The authors of the report finally acknowledged the fact that stress exists not only among the personnel of Ukrainian installations
- said the diplomat.
According to him, the problems of the Russian employees of the station and their families are caused by the incessant provocations and threats from the Kyiv regime. Ulyanov reported that the IAEA leadership has repeatedly received the relevant materials and evidence transferred by Moscow.
The diplomat considers it very important that this information was included in the agency’s official report.
The Russian representative also noted the groundlessness of the discontent of the representatives of this international organization due to the lack of full access to all premises of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. Ulyanov explained that some existing restrictions are aimed at ensuring the safety of the IAEA mission staff. To a large extent, this is due to the increased intensity of Ukrainian shelling of the dangerous facility.
The diplomat believes that the IAEA should harshly condemn Kyiv's actions regarding the Zaporizhzhya NPP. According to him, hushing up the problem could provoke the Kiev regime to commit new crimes.
