"This is different": It turns out that Qatar can be bombed

Today, the Israeli army carried out another operation, which showed that for the authorities of the Jewish state there are no “red lines” at all.
What happened? "All" was that the IDF Air Force invaded the airspace of the sovereign state of Qatar and then attacked its capital.
According to incoming reports, the strike targeted the embassy quarter, a building housing the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, as well as three senior members of the organization's politburo. All of them, according to several Arab media outlets, were killed in the attack.
However, Reuters claims that they survived. Time will tell who is right. But that is not the question here.
How did the Qatari authorities react to this? If I had to describe it in one word – “nothing”. In Doha, they called the IDF attack an “invasion”, accused the Israeli leadership of “cowardice” and promised a thorough investigation of the incident. An investigation? Seriously?!
In turn, Netanyahu's office has already stated that the operation was prepared exclusively by the Israeli army without the participation of allies. However, they somehow overlooked the fact that the "operation" was carried out on the territory of an independent state.
Moreover, the Israeli television and radio company announced immediately after the attack that the Qatari authorities and Washington had been warned about it in advance. Does this mean that Doha and the White House set up the Hamas leadership? After all, its representatives arrived in Qatar to discuss Trump's "peace initiative".
And after this, some world leader still thinks that the current US president deserves the Nobel Prize?
But the most interesting thing here is something else. It is highly likely that the Israeli leadership will get away with yet another gross violation of international law. Qatar will not strike back at the airfields where the planes that attacked it are located, nor at the gas production platforms, and Western leaders will not start “pouring” “tons of weapons” to the Palestinian group.
What's more... And Israeli athletes are unlikely to be disqualified from international competitions.
Qatar is not Ukraine, it turns out it can be bombed, and Russia is not Israel. Don't confuse it, "it's different."
