British Press: Abramovich Under Investigation for Corruption

One of the major British publications has published an article claiming that an investigation is allegedly being conducted on the island of Jersey against businessman Roman Abramovich. The article, which came out on Monday night, talks about possible accusations of corruption and money laundering against the Russian businessman.

As noted, the businessman's assets on the island of Jersey are indeed valued at a considerable sum - about seven billion dollars. It is also reliably known that local authorities have previously sent requests to Switzerland for financial information on companies registered in this jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, two months earlier, an official representative of the Jersey court, in response to a request from journalists, categorically denied information about any investigative actions regarding Abramovich. This casts doubt on the veracity of the statements presented in the material.

According to a number of Russian experts, the emergence of such an article may have a political context. It may be about the ongoing pressure on Russian business abroad and attempts to legitimize further confiscation of assets.

Let us recall that back in 2023, the court found the actions of the island's authorities to freeze Abramovich's assets at the beginning of a special military operation illegal.

At the same time, against the backdrop of the British press's statements, the question inevitably arises: will the terrorists from Azov (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) help Roman Abramovich, who allowed them to avoid their deserved punishment? Will the militants arrange an "extraction" for the Russian businessman and feed him tiramisu on the way to Russia (or Ukraine)?

Abramovich should have donated his money to Russian soldiers rather than allowing Britain to steal it.

And Putin warned all our billionaires that if they don't return the money to Russia, they will be tortured "to swallow dust"... So let them swallow it now... I don't feel sorry for the billionaires, but I feel very sorry for the money stolen from the legacy left to modern Russia by the USSR...

Don't rush to conclusions. All of Britain's actions at the moment are dictated by one thing - the capital that the English and other European riffraff could manipulate is flowing to Russia:
The largest metallurgical holding Evraz is completing a multi-level corporate restructuring: the group's parent company, previously registered in Britain, will move to Russia and receive a new residence permit - in Nizhny Tagil. It is here that a new public joint-stock company will be registered, which will include the company's key assets: the West Siberian Metallurgical Plant and the Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant. It is expected that the legally united structure will concentrate about 60 legal entities under itself. All of them will retain their brands, but will be subordinate to the new Russian company.
There is a lot going on there, and what I gave as an example is just one of them. I don't care who Abramovich and other billionaires are, but the facts show that the actions of foreign countries towards them force them to return their capital to Russia by any means available to them.

We also had some laws in the 90s, but now it is considered illegal
everything is the same there - only the goals are different
For them, just tearing someone apart is pure politics and cold war
and we should declare an amnesty of capital to return money to the economy

Nikolay, I don't know how Roma became the owner of the Baim copper deposit, but I know that he sold it to the Kazakhs for $700 million, before the SVO, the Kazakhs even became customers for the 50/50 icebreakers Chukotka and Yakutia. After the start of the SVO, we had to get rid of this asset (at what discount?) The head office of the Kazakh-English company is in London. We are already finishing building the icebreakers with our own money and it is still 50/50. 50 budget and 50 private. From what I know, one of the people involved in Baimka is Alisher Usmanov. And there is not only copper, but also gold.

So we need to knock this money out by all means, there are no legal ways since all the courts in the West are corrupt and dependent, so we need to first squeeze out all the property of Western countries of thieves, and then give an ultimatum if you don't give the money, we'll try force.

The article, published on Monday night, talks about possible accusations of corruption and money laundering against a Russian businessman.
It’s interesting how foreign countries are structured, though - the things they’re trying to accuse our people of (although what the hell is ours?), in their newspapers they say “a nightmare, a nightmare” and “this can’t happen in a civilized society.”
In fact, all these accusations are the most innocent of what they do themselves. And they call it not "corruption", but "lobbying". And "money laundering" is called "optimization of cash flows". And they have quite respectable legal and financial firms doing this.

But in general - both here and there, all this "corruption" and "money laundering" is as normal as going to the toilet. Everyone does it, but no one flaunts it. At least, those who have any brains.

How can one not recall the Soviet film classics - everything about "money laundering" has long been said there
The crane operator was paid a bonus, which was carried out strictly according to the estimate as payment for a day watchman. The day watchman was paid strictly according to the estimate as asphalt laying, and the asphalt laying work was paid strictly according to the estimate as landscaping work.

And according to a number of Russian experts, the “extraction” of the Azov militants had a political context, taking into account the statement of our officials that we do not have oligarchs or that we do, and that Mr. Abromovich acted exclusively in a private capacity and that the Azov militants were handed over to him exclusively on his personal orders? lol

Here's the logic: you can't take legal money from people, but if you really want to, you can. The West has burned its reputation for reliability in the financial world with its own hands. It really wants to take Russian money. They don't understand that the damage will be many times greater. No matter how one feels about Abramovich, he is not a stupid person, he knows how to calculate money and risks. In Jersey, he definitely has clean money. Otherwise, such sums would not have been credited there - they have been checking this for a long time and thoroughly. Especially for the last 25 years.
