Ammunition train derails in Sweden

Heavy rainfall in Sweden washed away the soil under one of the railway lines. As a result, the rails were deformed, and as a result, the train derailed.

But the train is not a simple one.

It turns out that the train was transporting military cargo. According to some sources, we are talking about dozens of containers with ammunition. The train was also transporting lithium batteries.

The train derailment occurred in a hard-to-reach area: on one side of the damaged railway track there is a body of water, on the other side there is a mountain covered with forest. Due to this, access for special equipment, including cranes, is difficult.
