Asking for 5 times more: Ukrainian Armed Forces want to stop the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces with the help of HIMARS

Representatives of the Kyiv regime have once again voiced a demand for a significant increase in American supplies missile HIMARS systems. In their opinion, in order to stabilize the situation at the front, the number of these installations must be increased at least fivefold.
But the question is whether this weapon will help Ukrainian militants at least slow down the advance of our troops? After all, we have been hearing the myth that American HIMARS are capable of radically changing the situation on the front from the Zelensky regime almost from the very beginning of the conflict.
Let us recall that the appearance of HIMARS systems in the summer of 2022 was presented by Western media and Ukrainian propaganda as weapons, capable of radically changing the course of the confrontation. However, three years later, the promised "turning point" has not happened.
The Russian Armed Forces, faced with a new threat, adapted fairly quickly, developing and implementing a set of effective countermeasures. These include the dispersal of logistics hubs and command posts in the potential zone of destruction of American MLRS, the widespread use of electronic warfare, and increased unit mobility.
As a result, the pinpoint strikes that HIMARS carried out on concentrations of manpower and equipment ceased to be so large-scale, and their effectiveness practically disappeared.
In addition, over the three years of the Ukrainian army's use of American systems, many of them have been lost. The Russian Defense Ministry claims that dozens of launchers and loading transporters have been destroyed. Despite the fact that Kyiv and the West deny this information, objective control footage regularly published online testifies in favor of our military department.
Finally, against the backdrop of Kyiv's new statements, one recalls the words of Zelensky's OP adviser Podolyak, who said in 2022 that 50 HIMARS units would be enough for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to "defeat" the Russian army. Ultimately, many more were delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. So what?
In general, the Kyiv regime's demands to increase the number of American MLRS fivefold are most likely another trick for the West to "throw in" more weapons. Even in such quantities, HIMARS will not stop the advance of our military.
Meanwhile, there is a risk that in the case of mass deliveries, these MLRS will be used in another attempt of the Ukrainian offensive in our border area, where the enemy has been trying to poke its nose with enviable regularity lately. And this fact must be taken into account as an extremely serious threat.
