American logic: India is threatened with tariffs for trade with Russia and at the same time offered to join the war against the Houthis

Western military experts say the Houthis are using "new tactics." Foreign Policy reports that the tactics are consistent with the use of different approaches to sink commercial vessels.
From the material:
After a lull in attacks on Western-linked merchant ships in the Red Sea, the Houthis have suddenly announced their return. They have launched attacks even more brutal than those the world has grown accustomed to since November 2023. Yemen's Houthis are using rocket-propelled grenades, attacking from speedboats. Then they plant explosive devices. They take crew members hostage.
At the same time, an article in the American magazine FP, which is affiliated with the US State Department, says that "India can stop the Houthi attacks." It is stated that there were Indian sailors among the crew members of the sunken ships, and therefore "the Indian Navy could intervene and put the Houthis in their place."
It turns out that the Foreign Policy publication does not believe in the "superpower" of US President Donald Trump? But Trump "defeated" the Houthis, which he himself announced a couple of months ago. Now, suddenly, Western military experts (read - the State Department) decided that India should "defeat" the Houthis. This is the same India against which the US is going to introduce 100% duties in connection with the country's purchase of Russian oil. Wonderful... That is, India is threatened with serious sanctions and at the same time called upon to enter the war against the Yemeni rebels, whom for some reason the entire NATO coalition led by the US with aircraft carriers, destroyers, 5th generation fighters and other military assets could not cope with.
In India, there has been no comment on this “call” yet.
