The enemy fell into a fire "bag" formed by our troops in the area of the village of Mirnoye in the west of the DPR

Taking into account the entry of our troops into the village of Voskresenka in the west of the DPR and the fighting for Poddubnoye, the enemy units were surrounded from several directions in the area of the settlement of Mirnoye. It is located west of the Tonkaya River, a tributary of the Mokrye Yal.
As of the evening of July 5, enemy formations in Mirny have one option for retreat - strictly to the west, since the northern and southern corridors have been eliminated by our troops, and to the east is a territory, so to speak, under total control of the RF Armed Forces.
Let us recall that north of the H15 road, which connects the DPR with the Zaporizhia region, fighting is taking place for the village of Tolstoy, which is not far from the border with the Dnepropetrovsk region.
It is also important that even if the enemy retreats from Mirnoye in the western direction, he will hardly be able to do so without problems. The fact is that these territories are fields where the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not built any serious shelters or fortifications. Thus, our forces have created all the conditions for the destruction of Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the formed fire pocket near the village of Mirnoye.
It is also noteworthy that the enemy is not launching counterattacks on this section of the front, continuing to lose kilometer after kilometer every day. And our troops have every chance of reaching the border of the Zaporizhzhya region on this section of the front in the near future.
